Best summer vacation spot we have tried - relaxing as camping with WAY more convenience, privacy, & comfort, yet still in the middle of nature!! The back deck is so private that you do not feel like anyone else is around! Always pleasant and happy to help!

Hot tub was in great working order. coffee pots were excellent. excellent kitchen products, utensils. Nice bourbon and wine glasses. Matt was responsive. Easy check in/out. I may have missed instructions on the dog fee - who to make check out to and where to place the check.

Lovely home and a great place for our family getaway. Very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The gas fireplace was especially nice and kept the home warm and cozy. Loved the windows that allowed us to look out at the beautiful fall colors. Emails were sent out timely with instructions. That part was great. Never received a reply to my email asking some pertinent questions but when I actually called the office, the ladies were very kind and helpful.

This was an amazing experience, one we will cherish forever. We definitely plan to visit this cabin again in the future. Becky and the entire staff went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The lady who cleaned the cabin was also very nice and pleasant.

We loved the property. It was very clean and well maintained. The hot tub was wonderful. The beds were very comfortable and overall was just a great experience. Everyone was really pleasant to work with and made our stay very nice.

We love this cabin. Floorplan is open and spacious and the loft area is a great place for kids to hangout. The large windows give a lovely view of being nestled in the trees. The gas fireplace offers convenient coziness. It's so nice to go right out the front door for walks with our dog. We have rented this cabin 3 times over the years and always look forward to returning. Happy to see some upgrades, new furniture is nice. Friendly and efficient.

We spent several days hiking in each of the local parks/wilderness areas. I'm not sure the air conditioning ever worked but it was so pleasant at night that we didn't need it.

We had a wonderful time at Mountain Shadows! The cabin was clean, well-stocked and roomier than expected. We cooked a whole Thanksgiving meal in the kitchen with ease. The fireplace and hot tub were great after a day of hiking. We hope to return! The communication with Matt at the time of booking and just before our stay was very polite and helpful. Response time was also very quick.

The hot tub and deck are amazing! We loved the location and the house itself. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked. Couch is also super comfortable.

Mountain Shadows is an absolute delight. Loved the new furniture and the very clean hot tub and living spaces. We arrived late Friday and our booking had been switched back a day due to miscommunication via email, but everything was figured out within 10 minutes and we had our keys thanks to the excellent communication with the emergency numbers. 10/10 would recommend to anyone else looking to experience such a wonderful area.

The setting was stunning, and the back windows of the home were very enchanting. We didn't want to leave! We enjoyed the hot tub, kitchen amenities, upgraded furniture, and the fishing pond in the front of the property. Exceptionally nice stay and we hope to visit again soon. The experience with all members of the team was extremely easy and pleasant. We had a wonderful time.
