Beautiful place to stay. Condo fit 8 adults and an infant. Was cozy and had most of what we needed. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Our accommodations were wonderful for our family of 9. We had originally scheduled this trip in 2020. What a joy to be able to take this trip now, and have this lovely place to stay. It was perfect for our 3 and 5 year old granddaughters, and it was perfect for us as well. This area has so much to do with very little driving. The beaches we visited were close by, and getting to Lahaina for more tourist activities was a breeze. The condo itself had plenty of beach towels, coolers, and beach chairs. Snorkel Bobs was a short walk away for our rental needs. We had the perfect vacation!! Thanks!!

E407 has all the comforts of a fine home along with a resort that is in a class by itself. The view from the condo living room, lanai & master bedroom are fabulous ocean views. The split system HVAC allows each room to control its own temperatures plus the kitchen is stocked with all the necessities for any type of meals desired. Location, Location Location!!

The condo and overall property were absolutely stunning! The condo had everything you could need! All the beds we’re comfortable! The view from the deck was magical! The property was within walking distance to great food, beaches and all other sight seeing adventures! We hope to come back here again soon! Perfect!

Great location and wonderful property. Perfect for our family of 8. The unit was pretty well stocked for cooking. Loved the view and the grounds. There was a bit of an electrical issue with the fans and lights. If one bedroom turned the light on they all went on. The wiring needs to be checked. We would return with our 6 kids in the future.

This was a great place to stay for our Maui vacation! Great location with grocery store, food trucks and restaurants nearby. Very clean and had plenty of room for our group of 7. Beach chairs and boogie boards were available for us to use and the beach was close by! Beautiful grounds! Would stay here again!!

We stayed in Papakea E407 and had a great time. Everything was clean. Beds were comfortable and there was space for everyone in our group of 8. The unit was well supplied with kitchen items, basic necessities, and even beach items (coolers, boogie boards, chairs). Parking was easy and plentiful. Location was great, with easy access to beaches, stores, and places to eat. The view was amazing and the grounds and unit were both well maintained. I would stay here again without hesitation!

Our family of 10 stayed here April 9-16, 2022. We had some concerns about negative comments left by previous guests saying the resort is not kid friendly. We almost did not book it because of those comments. Let me assure you, our grands (2 boys age 13 and 2 girls age 10) thoroughly enjoyed this resort. They played tennis and pickle ball on the courts every day, as well as used the putting greens (and there are even 2 putters in the condo for your use) and the pool and hot tub. We never ran into anyone being negative towards children, so I am not sure where those comment came from. We did not experience any of that negativity. And the grounds are gorgeous! They are working on them constantly. It is such a beautiful place. As for the condo itself, WOW! That view from the patio is even better than pictured in the photos. We sat on the lanai and watched whales splash in the ocean every day, even being as late in whale season as it was. Unbelievably beautiful! The condo was well stocked. We did a Walmart grocery pickup near the airport after landing and purchases toilet paper and paper towels and laundry soap that we would not have had to buy. It was right there in the condo for us. The condo also has a few beach chairs and umbrellas and some boogie boards and beach toys. The kitchen had more than ample dishes and glasses and cooking utensils for the 10 of us. It also had some staples in the pantry like cooking spray and a few spices. That was a plus! We all really enjoyed this condo on this resort and would return in a heartbeat! The area was great, too. The Times Market grocery store is just a block away, as is the ABC store. We walked to Java Jazz in the same shopping center as the grocery store every evening for Shave Ice. One day we walked to Slappy Cakes for breakfast. Try the banana bread french toast. To die for! There are food trucks across the street that are open every evening from 5-9pm. We ate there one night and found lots of variety. Something for everyone. There is no beach at the resort. However, just a short walk across the little bridge gets you to sand and beach. Our granddaughters snorkeled there several times and had a blast. We went to Honolua Bay to snorkel the first day. It is very rocky and if you have anyone with a disability, they likely could not navigate it. But it is beautiful there. We enjoyed banana bread and fresh lemonade and apple bananas at the market across the street. I could go on and on. It was great

The room was very clean and just as advertised. We could see the ocean, Molokai, the pool and landscaping from our lanai. It's a great location, near kaanapali beach, grocery store, restaurants, shops.

We were surprised that the beach wasn’t on property and that cabana only offered vending machine drinks

This was a great home base for 2 parents and 4 twenty somethings to explore the area. It was in a great location - close to the boardwalk, food trucks, restaurants, grocery store all within walking distance. The unit had ample space for the 6 of us and we truly appreciated the fully stocked kitchen. We loved having the pool/hot tub/shuffleboard and we used them all when at the resort. So nice to have sand chairs/cooler/boogie boards in the unit for our use. Loved our time on Maui and our stay here.

9 of us stayed in the condo pretty comfortably. There were a few things we found that didn’t work (bedroom fan/light, one of the blenders, etc) but we were able to go without. The owner did offer to send someone to repair things but we decided not to as it wasn’t neccesary. The condo had a nice balcony with a nice view of the ocean. Could hear the waves from the main bedroom which was wonderful!

We had a great stay at this condo. Great location across the street from the beach.

Perfect place, perfect view. We loved the condo and didn't want our Vacation to end. Next time, we will be staying at this same location. LOVE everything about it!

Although we weren’t in the buildings directly on the ocean front, our view was lovely. Condo is well supplied with dishes, silverware and glasses. Very comfortable.

Beautiful, spacious, good location, whale watching from your balcony, everything in the kitchen you need, loved it. I would say that the beach is pretty small but you are only about 3 minutes from Kaanapali Beach. I would for sure stay here again.

We had 10 people staying all together for an extended family vacation and the condo was just like the pictures, the most awesome island inspired decorated/furnished condo with a view of both the ocean and mountains. It fit us all very comfortably and the condo is stocked worth beach chairs kid toys, body boards, and all the baby accessories I needed for my 7 month old. Was a perfect stay

Papakea takes very good care of the grounds. The condo was adequate and a good configuration for our group. It was not stocked at all with VRBO type staples. I bought salt and pepper and foil for instance and 2 rolls of toilet paper was all they left in the bathroom for a full week stay ( not everyone wants to shop on vacation for essentials). The residents are typically older and not crazy about children on the property. We enjoyed the tennis group that played in the mornings. They were very engaging and our daughter played with them every day. The primary communication from the My Perfect Stay folks was to make sure you clean everything before you leave and take out the trash, etc..... I would have given this a 4 star despite the lack of basics and communications however the mattress or mattress pad in the master is ridden with age and odor and washing the sheets didn’t resolve the problem. I believe for health reasons it is important to adjust the rating to get someone to address this. Reviewing the conditions of beds and bedding is really important for vacation rentals.

We were a family of 6 adults and one 3 year old! It was a very enjoyable experience. The condo was lovely and close to everything .

We loved the condo, location, and ability to make our own food and save money. We were close to grocery stores, coffee shops and restaurants. The only con is the Resort is not kid friendly. As there are families at this Resort there are no kid activities and very restrictive in the pool, can't toss a football or have a floats. Also, only a very small beach area not enough to sit on if you didn't want to drive to another. Areas of shade palapa or umbrellas near the shore would be nice. All in all we would recommend and return.

We had a wonderful time and the condo was better then I had imagined. The pictures on VRBO were accurate. There were 10 of us and it worked out well even with 2 people on the pull out couch. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony every morning and watched for whales.

Having already been to Maui on our honeymoon at one of the major hotels, we were looking to return with kids and grandparents and the Aston Papakea fit the bill. The grounds and views were spectacular: -The maintenance crews were out there for hours each morning. -Family friendly pool area. Kids can be kids without upsetting older folks and romantic honeymooners -We saved hundreds of $ by shopping at the nearby grocery store and using one of the many new Weber grills surrounding the pool -The lone drawback is the lack of a sandy beach directly in front of the complex (due to the sea wall). You either have to walk from complex...or better yet make 5 min drive to Kahekili beach "airport beach" by the Westin villas. Highly recommended beginner snorkelers As others have mentioned the reviews aren't fair. This isn't a major hotel and each unit is individually owned/decorated, etc. Our unit E407 was beautiful, well appointed (renovated in late 2017) and most of all clean. However, if you are looking for daily room service, breakfast in bed and the full "honeymoon experience", then look elsewhere. Vikki from myperfectstays also did a wonderful job. She really helped alleviate our concerns and minor plan changes due to hurricane lane (thankfully mostly a non-event in Maui).

We stayed at Papakea with a large group of family. Every morning we’d sit on the patio with our coffee soaking in the fresh new sunshine all while the property maintanance team was busy cleaning and preparing the grounds for another new day. Everything was so beautiful! Not just because it was surrounded by the wonderful ocean but also because of the hard work and daily care the team at Papakea put into this location. We will absolutely stay here again when we return to the island. And hopefully that’s soon because we already miss the amazing warmth and sunshine.

We had a great time in Unit E407, newly remolded and beautiful!! They thought of everything that you could want or need in this condo,kitchen items/laundry/comfy linens and bathroom items. The unit was spotless and spacious for our family of 6, we had plenty of beds, there is only one sofa for sitting but there are plenty of chairs at the table and bar. There is a closet full of beach items as well as plenty of beach towels to borrow so no need to pack those in your suitcase. The unit is located right next to the stairwell, most people were polite and quiet during quiet hours, we did go speak with some neighbors below us about 2 in the morning during our visit but then they were quiet and no problems after that. The resort has lots to offer for activities, pool, spa, shuffle board, mai tai's in the cabana on certain afternoons as well as yoga and water exercise classes, these are included in your $17 a day resort fee(if you have more than one car it's also $5 a day extra). This is ocean front property, not beach front, but there are beaches close by if you favor a walk, or a short drive will get you to Napilli Bay which is the best. The AC worked well in the unit and even though it was a heat wave and tail end of hurricane Hector our unit stayed cool and dry. There are also a couple of good eating places within a quick walk, our FAVE was Java Jazz... good food breakfast,lunch and dinner! Live music in the evenings and reasonably priced for a vacation destination, we also enjoyed pizza and gyros at Paridiso Pizza and breakfast at Slappy Cakes, just be prepared for a hour wait for breakfast so go before your too hungry, it's a very popular spot. The My perfect stay team was great about contacting us to see if we needed anything(which we didn't) and making sure our vacation stay was pleasant, we would be happy to recommend this property to friends and family who are looking to stay in Maui. Aloha! PS... only recommendation would be to put a "traveler guest book" in the condo, it's always fun to see where others have traveled from and what they enjoyed on their stay, we have gotten great recommendations for food and activities in the guest books at other properties.

We stayed at this resort 2 years ago and loved it, so we were very excited to stay again, but unfortunately we had a few hiccups. Our AC didn't work for 5 days and they were never able to fix it completely during our stay. The elevator was not working over half of our stay. The property managers were great and tried to do everything they could to make things right. It wasn't their fault just unfortunate circumstances. The unit was nice and clean.
