We wanted to spend a few extra days just to enjoy Tucson as we used to live here. I did a lot of walking, some hiking, and we enjoyed listening to some live bands in which our host was a bass player and vocalist. It was fun.

We loved our month at Liz’ property in Tucson. Everything was clean and well appointed with kitchen, shower and breakfast supplies we needed after flying into town. The location is perfect near the River Trail and stores and shops. There are many wonderful Mexican, French, and Middle Eastern restaurants in 8-12 minute walk. Liz was really helpful in giving local information and also provided guidebooks and maps that we used every day. We would return again and refer the casita to our family and friends for future stays. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. The weather in November was perfect for us, like our summer days in the Pacific Northwest.

Was a great stay. Liz the host was awesome. Felt right at home and was a nice neighborhood. The pool was very nice. Close to everything. Would stay again.

This studio is located in a quiet neighborhood and is a very comfortable place to stay for 2-3 people. Liz provides just about anything you could need or want in a rental. I particularly appreciated the "info packet" she had there with a map of the city of Tucson, which really helped us find our way around. We had a little trouble with the key pad door lock and TV controls, but I'm sure that younger or more tech-savy people would have no problems. Overall, I would highly recommend this property!

Liz is a very attentive host when needed. The place was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. Very nice relaxing area with a comfy couch and a TV with Roku. The neighborhood is very quiet and nearby shopping. We felt that the bed was very comfortable...just needed to say that because one post said it was not. Thank you again Liz and if we are in Tucson again we look forward to staying at your studio.

Just right for my needs, small space, quiet neighborhood and close to the things I needed. The space was clean, neat and nicely appointed with soft towels for the bathroom and for all the basic kitchen needs. The outside covered porch, which faces west, was perfect in the early morning and after sunset. The host was friendly, fun to visit with and committed to making my stay enjoyable. I'll return. The only change I would offer is having access to both sides of the bed (my partner was not with me on this trip and this could be an issue if there are two persons).

Serene is accurate - perfect place for vacation. Clean, comfortable, all amenities. Great location. Within reach to downtown and area attractions. The owner Liz is wonderful - friendly, helpful and quick to respond.

Amazing quaint place just as pictured. It was so cute and clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was perfect as it was close to everything we wanted to do. Also, it was so peaceful and quiet the whole time we were there. Sorry we didn't get to meet Liz but her children were sweet and helpful. We will definitely be back!

We had an enjoyable 2 night stay at Liz's place. The unit is comfortable, nicely decorated and well and thoughtfully equipped. Liz is a super nice person as well. We'd definitely stay here again. The location is convenient to the UofA, downtown and other attractions. There's a Safeway and French bakery/cafe within walking distance and plenty of restaurants and other amenities nearby. We highly recommend considering Liz's place for your stay in Tucson.

Great alternative to a boring hotel room. The price is comparable to a standard hotel room but you get so much more when staying with Liz. The kitchen is great and the pool was very refreshing. Loading and unloading is very simple and quick. The location was great for us as we were only about 15 minutes from the Finger Rock Trailhead, which is a great hike to the top of Mt. Kimball. Liz is a great host. We forgot our chromebook charger and she was able to lend us her daughter's charger to get us back up to a full charge. Highly recommended.

Lovely place to stay with everything you need and quick response from host if needed. Ideal location to access hikes, U of A, many great restaurants and local scene.

The studio was cozy, clean, cutely-decorated, and a perfect home-away-from-home for our Tucson biking vacation. The location was in a very quiet residential area, pretty close to a Safeway, Trader Joe's, and a few restaurants. We had everything we needed, including a little kitchen area which allowed us to cook our own meals often. Liz is a great host- helpful, friendly, and laid-back, with a head full of interesting facts about the area. Thanks, Liz!

Just finished a month long stay. The home is located just shy of the foothills of the Catalinas. I needed a place to escape winter; I left this place refreshed and grounded from the long walks and gorgeous weather. Every night I came home to the quiet and peacefulness of Liz’s home. Liz was a gracious and cheerful hostess. The place was tastefully decorated and freshly painted. The grounds are traditional Tucson plantings which draw a variety of wildlife, in particular, Gila woodpecker, doves, Anna’s hummingbirds, mockingbirds and finches. The first morning I awakened to such birdsong that I thought I might be dreaming. The home is near a wash that is a haven for birds. The location is in an established neighborhood close to the Loop making it walkable and bikeable. The busline was so close that I didn't need a car and instead used bus transit and Lyft. I could walk to farmer’s markets, Trader Joe's, restaurants and a pharmacy. The small patio was perfect for eating a late meal and watching the color of the sky change in the distance. The kitchen has everything you would need to prep food and Liz supplied the dish soap, laundry supplies as well as soap and shampoo. I thought that was a nice touch. It was close enough to Tohono Chul Park to take a bus and spend the day in the beauty of some of the largest Saguaro cactus outside of the national parks. Tohono has awesome gift shops, a retail greenhouse and dining on the patio where hummingbirds dash about just behind the restaurant in the hummingbird garden. The studio is bright with a comfy bed, a selection of cozy quilts and enough windows to watch the morning sun stream in - you can close the door to the bathroom if the sun wakes you up. The wifi was very good and I had no problem downloading podcasts or searching for places to go. There are many restaurants close by that were quite good. I liked the coffee shop near Trader Joe's called Caffe Luce. There is a Univ of AZ Extension office that gives tours of a small but extensive garden that is exclusively run by the Master gardener program in Tucson. It is well worth a visit. During the week there is a U-pick farm market for fresh veggies. A mile away is one of the best yoga studios I have been to called Yoga Oasis. They have many classes at reasonable prices and afterward you can hang out on the patio of a lovely coffee shop called Raging Sage or get a craft beer at Crave. I had a wonderful time. This property is a Tucson gem, just perfect for two. It's in a great location, near the Loop bike trail. My husband and I loved biking the Loop and hiking in the nearby parks. Liz is a wonderful host. She quickly responded to all our questions/needs. We'll be back. Sandy

We came to hike and explore becoming snowbirds. The location is central to the many parks and downtown and the neighborhood is quiet, so suited us well. Very easy access to groceries and wine. The space is well laid out and very comfortable. The kitchen is well furnished and Liz is a great host. Would highly recommend this rental to couples wanting to explore the area.
