we were thrilled at the beautiful home, warm, cozy, the kitchen was well stocked. The living room space was so inviting and comfortable we spent pretty much all our time in the kitchen living room cooking, drinking wine and I especially loved the decor favorite was the different clocksthe dowatching movies❤️

We loved our stay at Red Gate. It is a darling home, VERY CLEAN, and an easy walk downtown. Jackie is a wonderful host and is very easy to communicate with.

This is a house that my parents had built in the late 70s.
When I saw that it had become a vacation home, I knew that my family and I had to stay there. The memories are fond and the house has been beautifully updated.

Had a great few days here. House is clean, well stocked, and good communal areas and enough space for the four of us. It’s also an easy walk into town which made it perfect when we wanted to stretch our legs, walk to wine tasting, etc. overall was a lovely stay.

Beautiful home, exact experience as described in the listing. Kitchen and family areas were absolutely perfect for hanging out and talking. Host Jackie was always accessible for questions. Would definitely stay again for another long weekend.

Our host, Jackie, was great! She explained everything and exceeded our expectations. The home was very inviting, clean, and comfortable. Beautiful decks, front and back. The back deck was very peaceful with a view of many trees. This location was great if you plan to spend time in downtown Murphys. Although we didn't walk to Main Street, you definitely could! We couldn't have asked of more. We're already talking about going back!

We had a family getaway over the holidays at this very cute cabin in Murphy's. The location was great, the house was very comfortable and clean, the town of Murphy's was quaint with lots of fun restaurants, bars and tasting rooms. I would recommend Red Gate Retreat

Red Gate Retreat was the perfect place to stay for a friends weekend! The house was spotless with an open floor plan perfect for visiting. It's the best of both worlds...country-like setting among the trees and only a short 10 minute walk to downtown Main Street! The owner Jackie was super accommodating and welcoming! Can't wait to go back!

We stayed at this wonderful home 5 years ago and it was just as nice this time around! It is in a great location with just a short walk to main street. The home is comfy and the kitchen is well appointed. We were once again very happy with our stay!

We loved our stay at the Red Gate Retreat! We had everything we needed and more. Comfy beds, cozy living room, and close to town. We went to a concert at Ironstone which was a very short drive. The only problem we all had was that our visit was too short. ❤️

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Murphys. It’s hard not to. Although it was walking distance to town, sadly, the weather did not permit that. Other than that we had a great time. The house had everything we needed. I love the back deck. I would look at staying at her other Murphys properties in the future as well.

This property was exactly what we were looking for...6 good friends, meeting in the middle, tasting wine, and enjoying time together making meals, playing games, and relaxing on the comfortable living room furniture. Thanks, Jackie, for providing such a top notch property. It was nicely decorated, recently renovated, and just exactly what was advertised. We’re ready to rebook again next year!

The house was perfect for our weekend away. It was close enough to walk to the main st. For Murphy’s Irish days and far enough to get a break from the crowds. It’s very clean and cute! We enjoyed our stay.

Family of four plus an adult friend picked Murphy’s as a convenient place to stay for a weekend of snow play in Arnold area. The home was exactly as listed: clean, well maintained, and quiet. We love Murphy’s, and this was our favorite place to stay so far. We will definitely be back.

This was exactly what our family was looking for- a cozy, warm and welcoming property that comfortably fit our family of 5. The house was exactly as described and even exceeded our expectations. It was incredibly organized, clean and tidy- the best VRBO home we've ever stayed at! It was very easy working with the owners, who were very responsive and wanted to ensure our stay was perfect. We loved the location and all the house offered- we would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a nice little getaway, away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to local shopping and restaurants. A 5 out of 5 star rating! I can't wait for our next stay here and our kids loved it as well.

We had a wonderful stay at the Red Gate Retreat for our short winter adventure. The house is located in a small alley, a few minutes from Murphy's Main st., very well stocked, clean and cozy. It was super fun coming back from a day of skiing to the living room fireplace and enjoying a family movie night. We enjoyed all of Jackies' local culinary and wine recommendations (I think we almost checked all, thanks Jackie!). It was perfect for our family holiday time!

We had a great stay at the Red Gate Retreat. The check-in process was a breeze. I loved that there was a keypad entry and that we did. It need to worry about a key. The house was clean and well stocked. The layout worked perfectly for my family. My elderly parents were comfortable in the master bedroom. They are hard of hearing so it did not bother them when everyone else was in the main part of the house. The kids had their own space upstairs and enjoyed that. The last bedroom was near the front of the house and was secluded enough to get some quiet and a nap in. We enjoyed morning strolls to Aria’s bakery for coffee and had a great time at the Irish pub in the evenings. Wish we would have had more time.

The house is beautifully decorated. It's .5 from Murphys so a nice walk. We had a little trouble with the keypad but Jackie was great about getting it fixed for us. I would stay here again.

This house is as nice as it looks in the photos. It is perfect for
2-4 adults and 2 children. We are 2 single ladies who like our space and we each had a comfortable bedroom and bathroom. It is a short walk to Main St in Murphys. We had to call Jackie a couple of times and she was very responsive and helpful. The house is also very clean and well appointed. Would definitely stay here again!
