Clean, comfortable, relaxing, excellent location.

Very clean and nice space steps away from the beach. We found everything we needed was at the cabin, dishes, towels, bikes, even yard games and toys for the kids. We stayed with our 4 young kids and there was plenty of room for sleeping and even when we were having downtime from the beach, the kids always had something to do. We would stay again in heartbeat.

It felt like home. I took two 15 year old boys on a fishing trip, so close to the boat landing and beach. Boys utilized the bikes, kayaks and paddle board. It was really the perfect property. Thank you.

Great vacation. House was very nice. Neigborhood very quiet. Location in the middle of areas we wanted to fish. Well equipped for your stay> all you need is food and your personally things.

We are retirees from Nebraska who have vacationed at Battle Lake for decades, planned a short stay to go to Phelps Art Festival. Friends from Minneapolis came for two of our nights. Accommodations as described and fine for us.. house was Very neat and tidy and generously stocked with supplies! Handy to the restaurants we like and to Glendalough, where we biked. Younger renters would likely complain about lack of WiFi… we were OK with it.

Very convenient and pleasant place. The walking/bike trail was wonderful; short/easy walk to beach. Well equipped with outdoor seating and activities. House was clean and well furnished with kitchen needs, bedding, and necessities. Quiet street with adequate off-street parking.

We had a great stay! VRBO is stocked with everything you need for your trip--towels, all linens, dishes, bikes and water toys! Of note, the VRBO doesn't have Wi-Fi and has one air conditioning unit in the living room. We stayed during an unseasonably warm weekend, however we were still very comfortable with all of the fans provided. 5/5 stars, highly recommend!

Thankful for a place to serve as home base for a few days while visiting family on Stewart Lake. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals & a few surprises (hot chocolate - bonus!). The kids enjoyed the trip down memory lane with the games and videos, too. We walked down to the beach a few times and hung out at the park, too. We had a great time exploring the town, Fergus Falls & the surrounding area.

We booked this house for our 30th anniversary. We both found it to be clean, well equipped, and comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet, right across from the beach, and about a 5 minute walk to tennis courts (which we used every day). There is a washer/dryer, and also a variety of bikes (which we rode quite a bit) and kayaks available to guests. We found the host to be responsive and attentive to our needs the couple of times we had questions. Great place. We'd book it again! Matt & Joan

When we arrived there we’re at least 100 lady bugs and 20 house flys in the house. It took three of us about a half hour, to take care of the incident.

Brian and Kim were very helpful with questions I had as this was my first experience with Vrbo. I liked that the house is conveniently located to public beach, state park, and downtown. Kitchen very nicely equipped and the bed was comfortable.

Long weekend get away
We had a great time at this property. Location was prime. Kids loved all the toys, games, movies left in the bedroom for them and all the outdoor toys in the garage! The kitchen was fully stocked with more than enough cookware and the bathroom had plenty of towels, toiletries, etc. We would come back to this cute little place in a heartbeat!!

Perfect stay
Very clean and cozy property - it's not a large house but we had plenty to do during our 3 day visit around Battle Lake and this place fit the need. The public beach and park just a couple hundred feet away was perfect for the grandkids.

Great location!
Yea his house is perfect for our family of four! With plenty of room, comfortable beds, outdoor patio dining and all the kitchen essentials we felt like we were at home. The bonus is the short walk across the street to the public beach access and all of the lake toys available to us. This is our second stay and we are already booked again for next summer.

Very nice
This was a nice cabin for my friends and I. Was very clean and a lot of activities to do things. Was disappointed that when I originally booked this there was a picture that made it seem as if it was right on the lake, but it actually is across the street. That picture is no longer there but was expecting it to be in the backyard. Beach was very close so it was fine. The fire pit was in an odd spot on the outside of the fenced in backyard and you had to go all the way around the garage to get to it as there was no access through backyard by a gate or anything. Overall experience was good and would be a great spot to bring kids as there were lots of games and things for them to do.

Perfect little getaway!
Great for a family of 4 with grade school kids! We hiked during the day and relaxed in this little home at night. It was clean, comfy beds, fun games, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for dinners. Absolutely zero complaints!

Fun time!
This was the best vacation my husband and I have had! The house was nice, clean and had everything we needed for our vacation. The driveway was large enough for us to park our boat and our pickup. Everthing in the house was clean and tidy. The lake was a little low due to the drought in the area, but we were able to get our boat in the lake and had fun fishing.

The perfect place for our family!
This home met all of our needs for a fabulous week-long getaway at the lake! Everything was well taken care of so that when we arrived we could immediately relax and head for the water! In addition to being next to the beach and playground, the selection of games, toys, movies, and books were all outstanding for those times we wanted to stay in and unwind. The owners were very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for our young family!
This property was perfect for our young family! Our kids loved being so close to the beach and playground! They were excited about all the fun toys and games as well. We spent a day in town and stopped by granny’s pantry. We also went on a beautiful hike in glendalough state park! The canon is small, but it had everything we needed and more!
