We walked to the beach for extra steps. House is beautiful and clean. Staff was superb. Laundry done daily. Woke up to breakfast daily. Heaven. Right in the middle of everything but closest to beach. The owner went beyond to make us feel comfortable before going and set up transport. Highly recommend.

The house is very well located within the Casa de Campo compound and well furnished. The owner is extremely attentive and responsive. The service people at the home do it great, from keeping the house clean to providing exquisite meals. We are a family of six and have spent a wonderful week at the house. The two six-people electric buggies are very convenient to reach the beach, the golf courses or the marina. All in all, a perfect vacation. Something to repeat.

Highly recommend staying at this villa. It was the highlight of our week-long stay! It was immaculately clean, laundry done, fresh towels and a big basket of towels poolside. Now the pool/hot tub/outdoor lounge area...AMAZING! Before arriving we booked a zillion activities. Mid week we canceled most of them bc no one wanted to leave the villa! Now for the staff....they are THE best. Maria, the house manager speaks english and is on top of the overall needs of everyone. Marcos sets the table, (how does he get the napkins into those shapes?!) serves the meal, pours wine, clears the table. You do not have to do ONE THING. As a Mom I can say that this is the first 100% vacation for me. Wendi is the chef and she is fantastic! We ended up cancelling reservations bc her food was so good. She made us a traditional Dominican dinner one night that I recommend. Other nights she grilled steak/fish/veggies with a pureed vegetable soup, salad. You basically wander to the kitchen and discuss what you want. And DO NOT miss her tres leche dessert. My teens requested it twice! There was an amuse bouche every dinner! The bfast was one of the highlights of our trip. It was so good that the teens got up for it, lol. Nice variety of eggs/bacon/fresh fruit/toast most mornings. Asked for some different options and got a dominican bfast--delicious. Also made pancakes most mornings. Another standout was the fresh squeezed juice every am! It was a variety of passionfruit, mango or a fruit medley. And I cannot forget the welcome pina coladas or the many cocktails that Marcos made for us. He's a genius at mojitos. He always left one for my 10 year old clearly marked without alcohol so she felt part of the crew. Beds are very comfortable and rooms have a/c and ceiling fans. The main area is open and leads to the outdoor area. We never turned on a tv! Played cards in the gazebo outside. Took after bfast swims, happy hour swims and after dinner swims. The lounge chairs out there are spot on. As far as the resort goes...we took one or both 6 person golf carts everywhere. It's about 2 min drive to beach, maybe 10 min to marina and the italian village. Our fav meals out were at Minitas and Alegria. Also the beach food from the food trucks was really good. Miss all of the ceviche! My 18 year olds liked the buggie trip the best. The Villa taxi driver took us out of the resort for souvenir shopping. And a masseuse came to the villa for us. Book it! It will wow you!

We went to Mangos 8 for a small family reunion (10) and had the best time ever. The house is even better than the pictures; great confort, cleanliness, spaces, and overall ambiance. The staff is amazing. Had the best food every day (only down side is that I gained some extra pounds). The location is also very good ( about 2/3 minutes from the beach on the golf carts provided). Could not ask for anything else. Lastly, Paul was a great host - accommodating and supportive all the way. I will be back!

Paul is a fantastic host. He and his staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating. Casa de Campo is immense. Don’t pass up a visit to Chavon, we nearly did and it cannot be missed. Bring cash for tips, transpo, and activities.

We had a great stay here at 8 Mangos in Casa de Campo and would highly recommend the destination, the house and the wonderful staff, Maria, Marco and DeMarie. The house was full with the 14 of us and worked so well. The pool, the hot tub and plenty of places to spread out and socialize. We had great meals and always felt at home. We would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you to the owner and the staff for a wonderful vacation.

Just returned from a wonderful few days at Casa de Campo and Mangos 8. The villa is beautiful, spacious and laid out perfectly for our family of adults. The staff warmly greeted us upon our arrival and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They were incredible! We spent hours by the pool and hot tub and found the golf carts a perfect way to get around the resort. We loved it and would definitely stay there again.

The location of the house is ideal. It is centrally located to the golf courses, beach, marina, and hotel. The house has an open floor plan with great interior and exterior living spaces. The staff was warm and welcoming and accommodated all of our requests. Overall, we were extremely happy with our stay. We did experience a few minor issues: low water pressure at times throughout the house and very little hot water in the master bathroom. Two complimentary golf carts were provided during our stay. We were grateful for the golf carts, however one of them seemed to have charging issues. On one occasion, we got stuck at the golf course. But we were easily able to obtain alternative transportation with the help of the house staff.

This home is a secret sanctuary! We knew we were choosing the perfect Villa from the immediate attention to details we got from Paul and Ann when we inquired about a vacation. This get away surpassed our expectations! Spacious, open and meticulously maintained, this Villa has a place for everyone. All of the bedrooms are ensuite and have air conditioning. We were able to relax in the private early sun at our pool. You can stay there all day or go exploring throughout Casa De Campo. The white sand beach and public infinity pool with restaurants and bars are a short walk or golf cart ride away! We used the carts to visit the Marina and Altos de Chavon for unique shopping and dinners on the water. We also enjoyed the impressive golf courses. The pool and hot tub provided us with a perfect end to each day! Maria, Marcos and Damari took wonderful care of us and made us feel right at home! They opened up the villa each morning. We awoke to freshly made breakfast which we enjoyed outside. They also prepared our other meals upon request. Our favorite dinner was the night we stayed at the Villa! The fresh fruits and fish were wonderful! Our laundry and towels were cleaned each day. We stayed with our adult children, but would love to come back with our extended family. This home is spacious but has intimate places to relax with everyone or have some quiet time to yourself. The layout is perfect for all ages. Casa De Campo is filled with friendly vacationers and attentive, kind staff as well! We will definitely be back!!!

This is a great location for a family or group getaway. The staff is wonderful and Marisa is a great cook. The pool and lanai are great places to lazy away afternoons. The house is comfortable and has great gathering areas. The amenities within the resort are all easily accessible using the golf carts. Finally, it goes without saying, the golf is exceptional! We have rented houses around the Caribbean and would not hesitate to return to Mangos 8.

The villa is gorgeous! Great open plan, gorgeous artwork, and you never run out of comfy nooks to relax in. Each room has it's own bathroom, A/C, and television, so each couple (and kids) had their own space, as well as the huge shared space. Maria, Marco, and Damari took great care of us, and the food was delicious - from healthy salads and roast chicken to the irresistible Tres Leches cake. The location of the villa is great. The beach is walking distance (but for kids or anyone with some mobility issues, it's better to take a golf cart); the marina is easily reachable and we made two trips out to Altos de Chavon (defintely worth a visit). Outside the resort we did a quick trip to the Cueva de las Maravillas - it's no more than a 25 minute drive, and the cave is very interesting. There's plenty more to do on the resort, but with the kids (age 7, 4, and 9 months) we didn't need much more than the pool and the beach.

We recently went on a girls trip and stayed at 8 Los Mangos. It was our fist time to Casa de Campo and we had the best experience. The house is incredibly spacious and beautifully kept by Maria and her team. The beach and other facilities are only a short golf cart away. It was great to come back to our own private pool and hot tub at the house. The staff is very accommodating and made us feel so welcome! We had breakfast and dinner prepared for us each day which was absolutely delicious. The one afternoon we stayed at the house to relax by the pool and they prepared us snacks. Our laundry was done and our towels were changed each day. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation and will definitely be back!

This year was our second summer at Mangos 8. Paul is one of the nicest owners I have dealt with on VRBO. From start to finish he answers all your questions and does everything he can to make your trip perfect. Jose is the butler at Mangos and he is a very kind, considerate, and thoughtful person. The beach, golf cart rides, cinema, shooting, golf, horse back riding are non stop fun for my five children, my husband, and I. The chef cooks delicious meals and always adds her special touch to every meal. We look forward to next summer.

My husband, children (19 & 16 yrs) and I stayed at Los Mangos 8 this past July. Have never been to Casa de Camp before and loved it. The house is beautifully decorated, landscaped and has everything you need. It was great to come back from the beach (about a five minute golf cart ride) and relax by the wonderful pool. The first night we were there, Maria, Damari and Jose made us a delicious traditional Dominican meal. Every morning when we awoke, the table was set and the breakfast was prepared. The staff is very accommodating and we had no problem with communication even if we didn't speak Spanish. Paul called the first night we were there to make sure everything was perfect. My husband and I traveled with one other couple to Mangos 8. We speak Spanish and our friends don't; however, from the first moment that you enter this lovely and well appointed home you are greeted by the warmest staff and language is not an issue. Maria, Damari and Jose are the kindest and most accommodating people you will ever meet. Besides being excellent cooks and superb housekeepers, Jose, Maria and Damari are wonderful human beings. We were at Mangos 8 for the Thanksgiving holiday and we asked the staff to join us for our celebration. This will be a day that we will never forget. Also, Paul called us on Thanksgiving and called again upon our return. He wants the best for his tenants. The house is lovely and so well appointed. The yard and pool area became our living room during nice weather and we enjoyed the indoor seating areas during the few rain showers we had. I recommend the masseuse that the staff will suggest. She was superb. We can't wait to go back.

We stayed at this amazing house on our honeymoon. There are no words to describe how fabulous this house is. When we arrived the staff was waiting for us in the driveway; they took our bags, gave us a tour of the house, and served us drinks by the pool while they started cooking our dinner. Thirty minutes after our arrival the owner (Paul) called to make sure that everything was okay upon our arrival. The house is immaculately kept and beautifully decorated. The pool area is absolute paradise! The cook made the most delicious meals, serving us pool side everyday. The staff is welcoming, accommodating and there for any and all of your needs. Pack light because the staff has your laundry done before you get back from the beach every day. This house is centrally located within a two minute golf cart ride to the most gorgeous beach we've ever seen. All restaurants are located within a 5 to 10 minute golf cart ride away. We've vacationed in many places and have never experienced anything like this! If you are looking to go to Casa De Campo, this is without a doubt the house for you! This was our first trip to Casa De Campo and we absolutely loved it. The house was beautiful and the staff was top notch. It's just a short golf cart ride to the beach, the marina, or any of the fantastic golf courses. The house can sleep 8 very comfortably with plenty of room to spread out and lounge around the pool during the day. Dimari is an excellent cook. Make sure you ask for her tres leches cake. We will be returning over and over. Overall It is a stress free, beautiful vacation spot!!

Well, it was my first time to the Dominican and what a first impression it was. We arrived June 9th and left June 14th. I was traveling with my wife and 2 other couples. There was plenty of room in the house for all of us. The staff was great. They cooked breakfast every morning and served it at the table for us. They cleaned, did our dirty laundry, did all dishes, did whatever we needed while there. The staff was there all day and did a great job of staying out of site and out of our way and most of the time we forgot they were there. They are very friendly. The house is centrally located in casa de campo and very easy to get to and very close to the beach. The beach was beautiful. The AC worked great in all the bedrooms and it was wonderful after a long day in the sun. The house has a huge freezer and fridge for all your food and drinks. Also I can't emphasize how SECURE casa de campo is. There are security guards everywhere. They are watching everything day and night. The only issue we had was on the first day the WIFI was not working but all I did is talk to Paul once and we had a new modem installed the very next morning. Once the new modem was in the WIFI worked great!!! Excellent service. The local grocery store (Jumbo) had everything we needed. If you are a golfer, I must say bring your clubs. I played and the courses are world class. Book a vacation with confidence, Paul(owner) is great and communicates very well with you. Thanks for everything Paul.

My wife, 2 daughters, son in law, and 18 month old grandson have had the good fortune of traveling as a family to various vacation destinations. Unanimously we agree that this was the best yet. Beginning with the owners who arranged all preparations in advance of our arrival, to the warm greeting by the staff, we were at all times bathed in hospitality. The staff did everything possible to ensure our having a wonderful vacation. It wasn't difficult to navigate the language barrier. Mostly because of the baby, we ate home most nights, and a delicious Dominican dinner was prepared for us. Breakfasts consisted of anything and everything you could want and you could always count on a few nice surprises. We were looking for a vacation of R&R. You couldn't find better than this. The house is large yet warm and inviting and always neat and clean. Bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and even the smallest bedroom is plenty large so that no one would feel that they are getting the short end of the stick. The pool/patio is large and the lounge chairs very, very comfortable. Eating meals poolside was delightful. Casa De Campo itself is beautiful, secure, exclusive and all the homes are beautifully manicured and you feel that you are living the life of the Rich and Famous. And again, the staff helped make you feel that way. The house is located a short walk or literally just a few minutes away by golf cart to the beach where lounge chairs, umbrellas, anything needed is available. Shopping and restaurants at the marina is also a short golf cart ride away. We traveled with another family who rented another house just a short distance away and alternated happy hours and such. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating from making drinks to snacks, etc. Whether you are traveling as a family as we did, or intend on traveling with several couples, you would be hard pressed to find a more inviting destination and gracious hosts. We would go back in a heartbeat and have every intention of doing so.

Five friends and I went to Casa De Campo for a wedding. We were two couples and two singles, so this four bedroom villa was perfect! We were greeted by Luce, Mary, and Jose who would be the staff for our stay. They were so helpful, and although there was a slight language barrier, they did everything to help. We set up ahead of time the plan for them to prepare dinner for our first night. There was a mixup in that we asked for fish tacos, and got beef tacos, but it was still great. It was very convienent not having to go to the store when we got there, and they didn't add a surcharge, just their taxi fee to get the groceries. We ended up having them prepare breakfast every morning for us which was about $10/day per person (Not bad!!). Breakfast was always pancakes, eggs (different styles) bacon, toast, fresh fruit, and even fun things like mashed plantains. The staff was generally there half the day, cleaning rooms and bathrooms before leaving. They were there when we wanted but appropriately stayed out of the way. We loved getting to know them! The four bedrooms were perfect for our group. There are a half dozen sitting places inside, which we took advantage of for drinks and chips & guac before our nightly wedding party adventures. Everything in Casa De Campo is a simple golf cart ride away. Make sure you have enough carts so that each couple has one (one cart seats four, though). My only 2 complaints -- the neighbors trash can smell crept on to our pool area in the afternoon. I also noticed a dog barking two of the five days we were there.

We were a party of 4 couples. We loved the beauty and the open layout of the house. There were lovely, interesting objects throughout the house, including wonderful paintings and prints. And, plenty of room for everyone to have their own space, whether it was watching a movie, playing cards, napping, or quietly reading a book. We were looking for a property with a large, comfortable outdoor living space, and were not disappointed. The pool and patio area was beautifully landscaped, spacious, comfortable and well maintained. We used the outdoor covered lanai for almost all of our meals, and enjoyed spending time relaxing by the pool before breakfast and late afternoons upon return from our daytime excursions. I cannot compliment Jose, Audi and Ilse enough. They were always happy, kind, attentive and dedicated to making our stay perfect. Despite the fact that they did not speak much English and we had 7 different versions of Spanglish, we were able to communicate well enough, not without lots of gestures and giggles. A translation app helped at times. This is to be expected when traveling to another country. They kept the house in meticulous order and made us wonderful, delicious meals every day. The Dominican dinner was especially outstanding. They arranged for a fantastic masseuse to come to the house and were very helpful in arranging transportation outside of the resort when required. Jose is awesome. What a gentleman! Erik, the property manager, was very helpful and always available, and could help translate if necessary. And, of course, Casa de Campo is one of the most beautiful and exclusive resorts in the Caribbean. We spent most of our time relaxing on Playas Minitas, but also fit in some horseback riding (ask for Margarito!), a snorkeling trip to Catalina Island, and a visit to the amazing Cueva de las Marvillas – a must see. I will definitely be back!!

Awesome stay in a fabulous villa. Beautiful outdoor spaces and pool area. Lovely comfortable furnishings. But the best part was the staff. Cook, maid are great. By Jose was superlative. Friendly. Always smiling. Willing to do anything to make our stay more special. Makes a mean drink. Homemade pizza. Grilled like a pro. I wish I could bring him home. Erik the property manager helpful and responsive. Owner easy to work with. Truly a vacation to remember.

All I have to say is that everything was perfect !! Great communication with Mr Mattia, Paula, the staff ...it was paradise on earth. Everyone really tried to accommodate all of our needs, and they did in every way. My family vacation was amazing and part of it was because of the service. They were all willing to assist you with everything...from doing your laundry, to staying extra hours to serve dinner, to go to town and buy you "chicharron". The sad part was that our vacation was over way too soon. Looking forward to rent this villa again for our next family vacation.

We loved staying in Mattia's villa. We have been to CdC at least 10 times and the location of this villa is superb. 1 minute to the beach, a few minutes to the Dude Ranch and the main hotel, about 12-15 minutes to the Marina or up to Altos de Chavon by golf cart. Lots of easy lounging areas in the villa, comfortable seating and lots of open space. The bedrooms are spacious and up to date, each with its own nice bath. We loved the outdoor shower and the hot tub! The best - the staff could not have been kinder or tried harder to make our stay more pleasurable. Paola went way out of her way to help me with a sick child - I could not have navigated that without her!!!!!! Always with a smile and an offer to help. Do not hesitate to stay here - you will be very spoiled and relaxed!
