Casa Mia does not disappoint. As someone who enjoys cooking, this kitchen exceeds my own. Every gadget and beautiful cookware is at you fingertips. The home is spacious and comfortable but the best room in the house is the front porch where we spent hours watching the tide come in and out. The last night provided views of the milky way and a few shooting stars. Would definitely rent here again. Thank you Jim and Mia.

We had a very relaxing weekend at the house! The beautiful porch overlooks the water! The kitchen was very well appointed and there were plenty of towels and lines and supplies to go around. For planning purposes the room upstairs that shows a full and twin only had one bed - either king or queen. Also the shower curtain for the bathroom upstairs was not mounted - I think it was being washed - we found some string in the laundry room and were able to hang it back in. We would absolutely rent this home again - it has a lot of positive energy and we had the best weekend!

The property is truly special, breathtaking views from most rooms, comfortable furniture, everything you could need in luxury kitchen, and wonderful decor. My wife and I have picked up decorating ideas from our stays - particularly the lighting fixtures - just really interesting and attractive. We just enjoyed being there so much that we felt very little need to go out, warm and welcoming place to relax with family. Great walks around Long Cove and a couple of outings to Pemaquid Lighthouse and Booth Bay harbor completed the trip! Mia is a pleasure to work with, a conscientious host who takes the word "host" very seriously, we have always felt so welcome! We will definitely be back!

The master bedroom offered beautiful views of the water and each bedroom came with its own full bathroom. Our daughters (6 and 8) absolutely loved the “wonderful” upstairs bedroom and felt at home playing/reading in the house or running around in the big front yard. We cooked fantastic meals in the well equipped kitchen, followed by games nights by the cozy fireplace. The location was perfect, and we enjoyed walking to explore the peninsula or take a short drive to town. It also allowed us quick 10-20 minute drives to different towns to explore. We loved every minute! FYI - Not to the fault of the house but we had very little cell service (AT&T) so had some difficulty sending and receiving messages/emails, even while connected to the the WiFi. There was no trouble, however, video conferencing from our computers via the WiFi. This was a great house for families looking to relax or friends looking to have their own space (bedrooms with bath). Highly recommend!

This property was wonderful! We came for the fall colors and were not disappointed. The house was clean and well furnished, the location was very convenient and quiet, and the beautiful weather was a bonus. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch with the awesome view. Mia was easy to communicate with and she was eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

We lacked for nothing….the home has everything..particularly if a gourmet kitchen is your office! If you have the Sonos app, you have music throughout the house. The recommendations on where to buy and eat seafood are perfect. The roads accommodate bicyclists and it’s an easy 1 hour loop to pemaquaid light house. Casa Mia was just perfect for our family and friends to spend a week together enjoying Maine. The home was great for 2 families of 4 with young kids. The space was plentiful and gave the parents and kids room to enjoy and have some privacy. The deck was a particularly special place with a lovely view of the bay and the lawn. The kids loved playing in the expansive lawn. Location was close to so many wonderful places - lighthouse, beaches, nature walks. It was everything we could have asked for. We highly recommend this location.

This property was beyond our expectations: a lovely home in a gorgeous setting. We had a spectacular week being together, with an array of activities available within a half-hour drive. Could not have been better!

We so enjoyed our stay in this lovely Maine home. It was just the place we were looking for — lovely views, a beautiful walk along the ocean just steps from the house, a spacious porch from which to enjoy morning coffee and, a fantastic fireplace for those cool foggy main days. Every part of the house was beautiful with wonderful attention to detail.

My husband and one adult son enjoyed this property for a Thursday to Monday getaway in mid-February. It was a short drive from our home in Camden but just what we needed. We enjoyed the views of the water each morning/day where a variety of ducks can be watched if you bring binoculars. We hiked in Bristol one day and drove to Boothbay Harbor and Wiscasset another day. We ate lunch out at King Eider Pub in Damariscotta (20 mins) and at Water Street restaurant in Wiscasset, a fairly new restaurant. Both were excellent meals. We brought food to cook at night because we didn’t want to go out at night with the cold temps and it’s a 20 minute drive to nearby restaurants. The kitchen and house are well equipped and clean. The beds are pretty comfortable. The house was a bit chilly with all the windows but we made use of the fireplace. We brought our own fire starter logs from home and picked up a few bundles of firewood at Do It Center in Damariscotta. Lots of cozy blankets in the house to curl up under. We did a puzzle and enjoyed the ample selection and variety of books. We felt refreshed when it was time to go. A pleasant getaway for sure and we would rent from the very responsive hosts again.

We loved our week working remotely at this house! The views were beautiful and the furnishings made it feel like we were staying in a boutique hotel. Lots of local lobster places and lighthouses to explore. Would recommend!

Casa Mia, was a wonderful stay for a week away from it all. The location was in easy distance to everything you would want to do in Maine and the view from the house was charming. The host was very responsive and accommodating to our needs. A thoroughly wonderful stay at a beautiful home.

What a great property. Immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, with high end linens, towels and furnishings. Comfortable beds. Kitchen is amazing. Plenty of room for personal space but also with wonderful gathering areas. Comfortable, enormous covered porch where you can sit and take in the postcard perfect view. You can do as much or as little as you would like here. We chose to take long walks by the water, kayak, swim, and cycle. Highly recommended.

Our two weeks in Casa Mia surely is the most memorable of the many wonderful summers we have spent in Maine. This recently built architect designed house is tastefully and luxuriously furnished to a very high standard. We loved relaxing on the long sea facing porch listening to shore birds as the tide rolled in. Breathing in fresh sea air produced a feeling of calmness and healing. The large gourmet kitchen with many sea and garden facing windows will thrill even the most demanding cook. Several well designed small and larger dining and sitting areas make the house welcoming and comfortable for both small and large gatherings whether they be informal or formal. The large sea facing master bedroom is very tastefully furnished with a large walk-in closet and a large bathroom with two widely spaced sinks and ample counter and storage space. Two other good sized bedrooms and bathrooms are also tastefully furnished. Our communications with the host have been very easy. We were moved by her generosity and it made us feel completely at home. Casa Mia offers two additional bonuses for lovers of nature and fresh seafood: Half a mile distance is LaVerna Preserve where refreshing hikes through forests lead to spectacular views of Maine’s pristine coastline. A scenic two mile drive will bring you to Pemaquid Seafood where Maine’s freshest seafood is served at outdoor tables overlooking a quiet and picturesque harbor with distant sounds of the occasional lobster boat.

It was easy to work with the owner, Mia, in setting up the rental. The home is situated near New Harbor, Maine which is a great starting off point for adventures. Our two teen boys enjoyed hiking, biking, kayaking and boating, all close by to the house. We enjoyed using the gourmet kitchen to prepare many lobster dinners! The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to cook. We can't wait to rent this house again next time we travel to Maine! Thanks, Mia, for sharing your stunning home with us.

After months of working from home and schooling from home, we needed to get away. We wanted to find a house that allowed our family to spend time together but also have separate spaces to relax, unwind and recharge. Casa Mía was perfect for that! From initial contact with the host, Mia, everything was perfect. Communication was excellent. She was warm, friendly and informative. Mia responded promptly to any questions we had about the property. The house itself is beautiful both inside and out. Most nights we enjoyed home cooked meals in the great chefs kitchen. Mornings were spent on the porch looking out on the water. There were so many things to do during the day but our kids favorite activity was the tidepool just up the road. They spent hours looking for sea creatures! As we were driving home my wife commented that it was the perfect getaway because it let us do a lot without feeling like we did a lot. It was the perfect balance of activity and rest. It was just what we needed. I would highly recommend Casa Mia and look forward to booking again in the future.
