Everything was great! We both needed some decompressing time away and this home was perfect! We didn’t want to leave our view. Kirk is so helpful and easy to contact and help with any and all questions. Can’t wait to come back!

Location is ideal, close to shops and restaurants by boat or by car. Nice easy walk to the lake from the house, great dock. The house was cozy and had plenty of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves. The house was well stocked and the host was great at telling us everything we needed to know ahead of our stay. This was the best lake house we have stayed at yet and look forward to go back next summer!

Everything was excellent. The house is beautiful and served our needs fully. It is very comfortable and is laid out so that each couple has their own living space and restroom and shower. I truly enjoyed our trip and the Autum Cove house made a great trip even better. I thank you for having it available for us to rent.

It was a nice family oriented place that was a great place to go and relax with family and friends and spend quality time together. Only thing we could of wished for that was better was better weather other then that we loved it and 100% will be returning at some point!

The location of this rental is prime! It’s just minutes from the marina by boat or car, minutes from grocery stores and restaurants. The house was perfect, it was spacious, right on the water, and well stocked with all the cleaning and kitchen stuff we needed. The hosts were great, with a lot of good communication. We will definitely stay here again!

Owner was great at communicating. Done Right Linen service was great as well. I need to bring the boat back to this quiet, clean, comfortable home.

Everything just as described if not better. The owner Kirk was very easy to work with. The location was great, easy to get to by car and close to marinas by boat.

My self and three friend came to SML for a bass tournament. The house is setup amazing for people traveling with boats! We were able to park three trucks and boats in the driveway with ease and had room for more!! The house was exactly as advertised and the view from the kitchen/living room of SML was amazing. Highly recommended!

Booked trip with 2 other friends for fishing trip. House was plenty big, clean, and everything worked properly. Communication with the owner was good. Location on lake is great along with lake views. Food Lion and good pizza/sub place within 5 min drive. Overall would rent again in the future.

We had a great stay at autumn cove. The house was as described and perfect for our needs for a fishing trip. Private covered dock is a very short walk from house. Outside decks were great for relaxing and awesome views of lake. House is very roomy with two levels. Roads to property and driveway were good and no problems for a boat trailer. Public boat ramp close by. We plan to return in the future and are thankful we found this rental.

This lake house was fantastic with a great location and view of the lake. The property owner was easy to work with and provided all necessary information for a great stay. We will definitely be booking this house again in the future.

Loved it! Very nice area. House was nice and clean. The view of the lake an leaves turning were beautiful. Even saw deer grazing/ laying in the yard next door! Owner responded quickly with any questions I had. Great experience. If planning another trip to the area would stay here again. Definitely recommend!

We had an amazing time. It was a nice fall weekend and the weather was great for sitting outside enjoying the views. If the weather were less ideal we still would have enjoyed our stay. The photos don’t do this place justice. The kitchen is great and the home is quite spacious. Would definitely consider coming back with a bigger group and kids!

Very nice house on SML with own dock. House is located conveniently close to stores and other accessories and by water is right near Hales Ford Bridge. The electric on the dock was a bonus as well as the wood burning fireplace in the family room!!

We had a wonderful stay on Smith Mountain Lake. The house is very well suited and comfortable for a stay on the lake. We loved the location of the home (what a view) and the convivence to town. This will definitely be our go to house when heading to the lake to stay.

The house was amazing. Enough room for everyone. Great location to anything on and off the water. Short walk to the dock. We will definitely book the house again. The most fun we have had staying at SML.

We rented this house for an extended labor day weekend trip. The owner was very helpful during the reservation process and answered all my questions. The views were amazing and the location was excellent; very close to the public boat ramp, grocery shopping, resteraunts, and activities. There were two adults and three young children in our group and the house had more than enough space for us.

Overall nice property and we enjoyed the stay. Only thing I can say bad is the boatlift was not working and the two large beds are very noisy.

Great house with amazing lake views and access. We loved swimming in the lake and watching the deer and geese. Tons of sitting room room inside and out. Kitchen had all we needed and just a short drive to stores and marina. THANK YOU!

The online pictures do not do this place justice. It’s beautifully updated and has an amazing view of the lake. Close to boat rentals, grocery stores, and restaurants! We had the perfect weekend filled with fun and relaxation!

There were three of us and each having their own bed and bath was really nice. Having our own boat dock was perfect for us to come and go any time of the day.

House was very nice. Location was good, close to many things including a nice boat launch and Bridgewater plaza. Nice setting. Saw deer in the yard. Slope to boat dock was not steep. Enjoyed our stay. House was very nice and roomy.

The Cabin was great, just a few minutes drive to grocery stores via car or a quick boat ride to BridgeWater marina. Great Cabin, would come again!

The property was extremely nice and clean. Perfect location to get away yet still be close to food, shopping and necessities. My wife and I had an awesome week here and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in a Smith Mountain Lake getaway.

We really enjoyed our week at Autumn Cove. The house was clean and in a very good location. The house is a little dated (kitchens and bathrooms) but it had everything we needed and the price point was both very fair and well within our budget. We loved the quiet neighborhood and the daily visits from the herd of deer. The two fawns were just too cute.

Spent a week for a summer vacation. We were with our 2 teenage boys and their grandparents. It was so nice for everyone to have their own space and bathroom. The lounge areas were very comfortable and relaxing. Plenty of space inside and out with many areas to sit and enjoy the water. Easy walk down access to the dock. We were able to tie 2 boats for the week and still have room to swim and kayak around the cove. There was a family of deer that would enjoy the back yard every evening. The neighborhood was beautiful and peaceful. House is close to everything you need for the week. Grocery store, restaurants (driving or from the water), mini golf, boat rentals, boat launch, state park, beach, and winery. There are puzzles, air hockey table, and Netflix if spending time inside. The host, Kirk, is very easy to work with and responsive. I grew up in this areas and spent most every weekend on the lake. This trip was my first time back in 29 years. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and loved getting to share my memories with my boys. They fell in love with Smith Mountain lake as well!
