We had such a wonderful time staying in the Birdhouse. It's super cozy and cute, just like the pictures. It was very clean and well appointed for our family of 4. There are so many thoughtful details like beach chairs and floats. The garage is so well organized and labeled for items for guest use. The patio space is beautiful and we really enjoyed the weber grills. Thank you for a great stay. We have been to Frankfort many times and this was our favorite place to stay. The proximity to the beach and town are unmatched!

We had a delightful stay in The Birdhouse. It's very clean, with a well-equipped kitchen, and the owners have thoughtfully ensured that you'll have everything you need for your visit. Lake Michigan is just down the street, so it was an easy walk to the beach for some nighttime stargazing. Definitely hoping to return.

Perfect location, describing it as "one block" to beach literally under states how close it is! All amenities are perfect, comfy king bed downstairs, plenty of space up. Great kitchen, just overall great deal and great hosts.

Rent the birdhouse along with the main house and have lots of room.

This is a cute and clean property in an excellent location. Walk to the beach and downtown shopping and restaurants. Owners are great communicators and thoughtful with amenities. Highly recommend!

This property was perfect for my family full of teens. Super close to the beach, cafes, restaurants and shops. The kids could explore on their own. We also had a lot of fun on the bike path at the end of our road. Played beach volleyball and had fun walking the pier. Perfect summer getaway! We will be back in the future! *The hosts have thought of everything! We had to repair a bike and we even found tools! Campfire in the evenings, beach chairs and first aid kits! Amazing hosts!

The Birdhouse is the perfect gem in Frankfort, considering its proximity to both downtown and to the beach. The property is adorable, with fun touches around and plenty of games to play. They had WiFi, two TVs, and some books. We found the kitchen well stocked (drip coffee pot, pots/pans, dishes, silverware, etc). Dishwasher detergent and dish soap was included, as well as enough paper products for our family of 3. Washer and dryer available in the garage was a nice touch. There were plenty of towels for the three of us. The master bed was very comfortable, probably the most comfortable of any VRBO bed in recollection! Although there were only 3 of us we could have easily accommodated more guests due to the upstairs area. The owners were kind and communicative. We will be back!

This was a nice place to stay while hitting the slopes at Crystal Mountain. It worked perfect for our family of five. The games and cozy sitting areas were nice.

Our stay was cozy with the kids staying up in the loft area which they loved.Currently, with COVID restrictions, in-person dining at restaurants is not allowed so most restaurants are temporarily closed until those restrictions are lifted leaving very few carryout options. We found great pizza at Papanos in Frankfort and Arni’s in Glen Arbor.

Cute, clean house in quiet neighborhood , close to Lake Michigan beach, downtown restaurants and shops, and great hiking trails in Sleeping Bear dunes.

What a darling place!! The location is perfect for walking to the beach, or the downtown stores and restaurants! Jerry couldn't be a better guy!!

The property location is central to downtown and the beach. It is the perfect amount of space for our family of three. The owner was communicative and helpful before we arrived. The only complaint is the cleanliness of the house. The coffee pot had coffee and grounds from the previous person, the kitchen was noticeably dirty including the pans which had not been cleaned at all. We left the place in better shape than when we arrived because I had to clean food off the walls, clean all the dishes, and wipe the stove and cabinets. We would stay again but I hope the company hired to clean does a better job in the future.

Booked last minute getaway to kick off the summer. Jerry was super accommodating with checkin and duration of stay. Place was very clean, very fun and perfect for our family - kids loved the loft space. Owners have thought of everything from hairdryer to shampoo in the shower, paper products, coffee grinds, beach chairs and buckets and even a salad spinner! Don't hesitate this place is great! We've rented up and down the east coast and throughout Frankfort. This is the most well equipped home we've ever stayed.

We booked this vacation not knowing days before we went they found a tumor in my husband"s spine. It was the most peaceful place for my husband and our girls to just spend time playing cards and games and do puzzles - all provided in the cottage. Our adult daughters walked to the beach every evening and walked the beach enjoying their time together swinging on the swings, processing all we had ahead. They still talk about this time together 9 months later. The cottage was clean, well stocked. We loved the town, shopping, eating at Storm Cloud, but mostly just family time in such a quaint, peaceful place. We loved the signatures in the bathroom and look forward to seeing ours again when we come back someday soon. My husband has since passed and we thank you so much for the wonderful memories of this last family vacation we had. We will be booking soon again!

My family and I are very thankful to have had the opportunity to rent the Birdhouse. The location is great, close to town and the beach. All the amenities were excellent, for a family that flew in from Arizona and could not bring a whole lot.

Great location and overall very comfortable! Beds upstairs seemed outstanding although the master bed was a bit too soft for us. Very clean overall but shower and sink need some bleach for old mildew stains! Would definitely stay here again!

Our family of 8 (3 generations) loved having the Birdhouse for the overflow from The Beach House. Everyone enjoyed their own space, and having a perfect location in a beautiful setting.

We rented the space to attend a wedding. The house was rented by the family of the bride. It was a perfect set up being able to be together and apart on the same property. Loved being able to walk to the beach and downtown!

Fantastic location. Walk to beach and downtown. Beautiful street with historic houses made for a fun, relaxing stay. The birdhouse loft was perfect for the kids - they had their own private space. Apartment had all amenities you could ever want from beach chairs to board games and everything in between. Frankfort had plenty of restaurants and shops to choose from.
