We usually travel to the panhandle for spring break and this was our first trip to Marco. We have a bigger family so vrbos work better for family time then a hotel room. The proximity to the beach was perfect for our daily walks and runs. The house was clean and our host was very accommodating and attentive. The pool and porch were great for days that we didn’t want to stay at the beach all day and outdoor grill worked well. We hope to return to Marco and this vacation home

Becky was a perfect host—helpful, responsive, and always available. The large, heated pool was fantastic. The supplies—and leftover food items—were more than adequate. Provided bikes and swim accessories was another plus. The only concerns were a long, open spiral staircase to an upstairs room that was open to the rest of the house—and the Island’s very strict noise restrictions.

We loved the location, the amenities (robes, bikes, beach cart, pool floats, grill, etc etc ), the beds were so comfortable, pool was warm, we found lots of great restaurants nearby and we walked to the beach everyday. Our host Becky was very responsive and attended to our every request. We loved staying at this home and will return!

Great house - the owner was gracious enough to meet us at check-in and give us a tour as well as introduce us to the wide array of tropical fish in the fish tank! The house has enough bikes coolers/beach carts/toys etc. that you don't really need to bring anything!

House is easy walk to beach as promised. Host has thought of everything - beach chairs, beach wagon, beach towels, bikes. House is well equipped. Kitchen has everything you could need. Comfortable beds. Lovely porch and beautiful pool. About a 20 min walk to restaurants. Very safe. Hope to stay here again.

Excellent location, 2 blocks walking distance to the beach, house has all the beach accessories and carts you need to enjoy the Sun. Home is beautiful, excellent two bedrooms with a second floor loft as the 3rd bedroom that has a private bathroom. Great pool with all the water toys you need for the kids, including a nice grill for the afternoon bar b q and a very relaxing outdoor deck ( all enclosed so no mosquitos at night) . Loved our stay, Becky and her dad were great hosts.

The house was so cute and super clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, which is a big plus. Becky was super pleasant and waited for us to arrive, talked to us about the town and taught my kids how to feed the fishes; kids spent a lot of time in the morning admiring the aquarium. This was a great property. Owner was a great host. House had everything we needed and was very clean. 5 minute walk to the beach. Pool was beautiful and we would definitely stay there again.

This has been by far one of the best places we have stayed in Marco Island. The communication with Becky was outstanding. She waited for us on arrival to show us around the property and see if there was anything else we needed, but everything was already taken care off. The property itself is amazing! The kitchen is fully stocked and with a reverse osmosis filter on the sink so you dont even need to buy water to drink. Bathrooms were super clean and beautifully decorated, beds super confortable and with a lot of space. They have a beautiful saltwater fishtank where you can feed the fishes once a day and spend a lot of time just staring there. Also there’s a piano you can play. The terrace in the back is perfect to relax, and there is a very big heated pool in an L shape with lots of pool gadgets to use as well. And the location of the property is top notch! Just one block away from the beach, and a 5 minutes drive to many restaurants and shops. So, thanks again for everything Becky, we will surely be returning here!

We loved Marco and this home. It was so convenient to the beach and restaurants that we never had to use a car. Becky was great to work with and made us feel at home. Great trip!

We’ve rented homes through VRBO in SWFL for about 15 years and this was our first VRBO stay on Marco. Becky was an amazing hostess, greeting us at the home to walk us through and give us some great local recommendations. The home was the best stocked we’ve ever experienced and everything was as described. The walk to the beach was easy (5 minutes or so) and safe with a crosswalk with push button to hold traffic. The home was well stocked with beach supplies as well (wagons, chairs, etc). It was so convenient that we went back and forth at least twice each day to enjoy morning beach walks, sunshine during the day, and the sunsets of course. We used the provided bikes to head to local shops, and really enjoyed the pool at the house when we weren’t out or at the beach. It was a great week and we enjoyed everything about our stay. Our family is three adult couples and one college student and we had enough room for all of us to have our own sleeping space. Between the beach, the neighborhood, the pool, the porch, and the home - we had plenty of space to ourselves throughout the stay. We’d stay again for sure.

Had the best time at mermaid cottage in Marco!!! Becky made sure all our needs were met. We will definitely be back!

Mermaid’s Cottage is beautifully decorated, has all the amenities, and is located .41 miles from front door to shore. The walk is incredibly easy. The pool is warm, the beds are super cozy, and the house has absolutely everything you need. Feeding the fish will be your favorite part of your day. The aquarium is so incredible! I loved the fish! Marco Island is a quiet, pleasant island with tons of walking and shelling opportunities. This house is on a quiet street and your vacation will be zen if you choose it! Enjoy!

We loved returning to Becky's Beach home. EVERYTHING is thought of for you to enjoy your time to the fullest. Imagine the best relative inviting you to their awesome home and there you have it. The pool was heated for us and the salt water fish tank provided more entertaining than anything on TV. Can't wait until next time💗

First let me say how wonderful Becky was to work with! Such a pleasure. The house has such character and is in a perfect location with short walk to beach. It is so well stocked, that it felt like our own home. The bikes, chairs, umbrella and coolers were well used. The coffee fixings were appreciated. And our 11 year old loved the fish tank.

Ideal location with great access to beach, and the bikes were good to have for just a bike ride or to run get a coffee or to shop a bit.

Becky was an amazing host! She made the check in process so easy and followed up throughout the week to see if we needed anything. The house was stocked with a ton of extras. It was clean, well organized, and the layout was perfect! The beach is only a short walk away. The neighborhood is super safe and quiet. Highly recommend this rental!

This property is a beautiful home located on Marco Island. The house had some bikes for us to use and our commute to the beach was 2 mins! House came fully stocked with everything you can think of! Close to many restaurants! The only thing I can say negative (which actually wasn't an issue for us but if I had brought my children it would have been...) you have to be super quiet after 9pm due to the neighbors. If I was on vacation, my kids would have been in the pool playing and probably loud. So just an FYI for people with kids. Other than that, this house was amazing.

The pictures of this home don't do it justice, it looks even more beautiful in person!! It was extremely cozy, spacious and welcoming, and it had everything you could think of. Lots of snacks, an assortment of body washes and skincare, bathrobes, you name it. Watching the fishes in the tank also became our favorite pastime over our stay. Going to the beach was also a breeze as it was just a 5 minute walk away. There are several beach chairs, umbrellas and a cart to carry it all in so it was extremely convenient. Becky is the best host I've had the pleasure of dealing with and she kept in communication with us. Thank you for everything!!

Becki is very nice and always available for you. The house is wonderful, beautifully kept and very comfortable. It has everything you need for a great vacation. It is just 4 mins to the beach. We didn’t want to leave.

This was a last minute booking and couldn’t have had a lovelier stay. The entire experience was pleasant and every single need was met. If you are looking to stay very close to a beautiful beach and want all the bells and whistles that come along with a beach house - this is your place! I highly recommend renting this home as Becky is a SUPER HOST. Also, everything was squeeky clean and beautiful. Beyond expectations! The house is clean, comfortable and well accommodating. Plenty of space for a group of friends or family. The host ensures a welcoming stay even before you arrive. Always available and responds immediately. Meets you at the house providing a tour and I instructions. The house is well equipped with amenities providing the home feeling. Recommend without any reservation. Location is a short walk to the beach, JW Marriott, shopping, and restaurants! We will all be back!!

Great property! Becky was very helpful. The house was as advertised and looked like the pictures. It was very clean and well kept. One of the nicer properties I have stayed at. Our family loved swimming in the pool and enjoyed the close proximity to the beach. Very family friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
