We stayed at Victoria's home for 4 days with 2 young children. Victoria was very thoughtful and contacted us ahead of the trip with information about the local area, grocery stores, etc and she took special care to put out things for the kids such as safety bed rails and fun toys and unicorn towels. The house was cozy and clean and well-stocked with everything you need to cook meals and enjoy the beach. The beach was beautiful, safe, and quiet and just steps away from the house, and we saw beautiful sunrises over the water each day. We did not need to use the AC during our stay because the fans kept everything cool. We are so happy to have stayed here and can't wait to return for a longer visit!

We loved our stay here. Steps away from the ocean and a beautiful quiet sandy beach that’s perfect for kids. The tide always leaves beach front and when it’s low the tide pools are very accessible. Lots of water shoes and toys but I suggest bringing kids water shoes as most shoes there are adult sizes The house was great for a family of 4 (kids 3 and 5) and had all the amenities and then some. Victoria was such a wonderful host, communicative, and made the stay even better with helpful tips, fresh herbs from her garden and had fun things for the kids to play with. There’s a lot to do in the area - cultural center across the street and 15 min to the north shore/pipeline- food trucks abound but one thing to note is this is a dry county so if you drink buy before you get to Laei. There’s a great fish market and Foodland a few minutes away. We stayed the week and it was perfect- the trade winds keep bugs away and even in winter we had lots of sun. We already miss waking up and falling asleep to the sound of waves. Book it. You won’t regret it!!

Convenient beachfront location across from the Polynesian Culture Center, near BYU-Hawaii. Comfortable, clean, and well stocked with beach toys and amenities. Great communication and hosting! Many thanks to Victoria!

Our family of four stayed here for 10 wonderful days. We did excursions all over the island but this was our favorite spot. It was so nice to come back to the sound of the waves and the outside ambiance is just magical. Victoria is on site, but she isn’t a bother, not overbearing at all, just helpful. She has thought of everything. She has a medicine cabinet, extra sunscreen, bug spray, towels, games, anything you can think of, already stocked in the unit. The inside is small, but it’s well utilized. We brought 5 suitcases with us and at first I didn’t think we’d fit everything in but you can! I love the decor and how well cared for the property is, and they have their work cut out for them with all the wind on this side of the island. We loved the wind, it made it the perfect temperature. Opening the sliding doors created a great breeze through the house. We woke up every morning and watched the sunrise from the chairs above the beach. It was so cool seeing the crabs fight for their holes. The girls went out on the rocks and found sea pickles galore. The rocks actually break the waves, which is nice because Hawaii waves can be very strong. This is the most beautiful property we’ve ever rented, and we will be back. If you are debating, just rent it! xoxo

This has been a very delightful vacation. I recommend this location and I recommend Victoria. She’s wonderful!!

We spent a lovely week out here in La'ie. This is a truly stunning place: directly on the beach, away from the main road. We really enjoyed seeing the sun rise out of the ocean, swimming in the protected "pool" below, having brunch at the table outside and sitting out in the evening listening to the waves and gazing up to the stars. The place itself is cozy and cute, and Victoria was a friendly, helpful host. The only thing to keep in mind is that it can be windy on this side of the island. That's why they call it the "windward side". Highly recommended.

Everything about this home and location was perfect for my family of 4. Victoria was so kind and welcoming and made everything easy. The proximity to the beach (right out the door and down the stairs), all the necessary amenities, and fun toys for my kids made for a great family vacation. Super conveniently located near shops, food trucks and a grocery store. We felt right at home on day 1. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, Victoria!

Loved our stay, but the mattresses could be better.

We stayed here for 3 nights after Waikiki, as we wanted a change of pace. This place was perfect--the views/location cannot be beat. The backyard was charming, kids loved it. Also, there is a private staircase that goes to the beach, which is protected by a reef. It felt like a private beach. Perfect for our 5 and 7 year old kids to play. Victoria was a wonderful host. The place had inner tubes, sand toys, everything! Kids enjoyed floating/playing in the water. It can be rocky at low tide, so a good idea to bring water shoes (we brought ours, but Victoria had some on hand as well). The house is set back from the main road, so there is no traffic noise. We loved listening to the ocean and relaxing. Plenty of food trucks literally a walk across the street at the Polynesian cultural center. Would stay here again!

Cute, compact but all you need for a great stay. We were here for 2 nights prior to Disney hotel Aulani and would have stayed much longer! The little yard and patio are perfect, plenty of chairs and beach toys, don’t need to buy anything! Amazing to be able to walk down some steps to your perfect beach (tide takes away the beach in the late afternoon and evening but still ok) Very easy to go across the street for a quick bite or there are easy small markets and food trucks (amazing ) just down the road.. Highly recommend this place!

Absolutely perfect cottage on the ocean. The doors opened to the sounds of the waves crashing, and it was a blissful few days on the North Shore. A bonus was the Polynesian Cultural Center located right across the street, which was huge, and had shows, food, and shops. Everything was perfect, thank you!

We absolutely loved staying here. My boys (9 & 12) would go explore the tide pools during low tide in the morning and would hop on boogie boards or tubes (provided) during high tide in the afternoon. The Polynesian cultural center market is right across the street with great food options and treats (no entry ticket for market). It was such a peaceful part of the island to stay. Very clear directions for check in/out. Victoria lives on property which was convenient if needing anything. Clean comfortable unit with A/C window units which was nice to come home to after hot days. Overall great location and perfect relaxing vacation for the entire family.

The beach was perfect for toddlers since the reef protects it from the waves. The house had plenty of toys and activities for the kids as well as inflatables for the beach. The host was great!

A perfect location and Victoria was lovly!

The house is adorable, the beach is a few steps away from the house and Hukilau Marketplace is right across the street. Victoria was very friendly and helpful with information. Our daughter and grandchildren stayed at a hotel across the street and they loved coming over to swim in the water at the beach cottage.

We enjoyed our stay here. The beach was right out our backdoor, & it was amazing being put to sleep by the ocean waves at night & waking up to the beautiful sunrise. Host was attentive but not intrusive, whatever we needed we just had to ask.

Our stay was fantastic and Victoria was so hospitable and accommodating! She customized the room for my young girls and even had surprise gifts for them upon arrival! This place has everything you could need. The view was fantastic and the swimming area was perfect for snorkeling, swimming, and exploring. We loved being so close to PCC, Kualola Ranch, And all the North Shore activities. The food trucks along the coast and across the street were super convenient! My only suggestion would be a portable a/c unit for the master for more humid nights. The a/c units in the kids room and living room kept the house super cool but didn’t reach the master. The multiple fans did help!

It was a beautiful beach house & memorable small private luau set up for the evening, overlooking the beautiful Windward coastline, reef & surf friendly neighbors & host. Life long memory !

This property was everything we hoped it would be. It was clean, spacious and one bathroom was never a problem for 4 adult women. The kitchen was fully equipped. We swam right out front everyday! Two of us learned to snorkel, so we were all able to see beautiful sea !ife! We enjoyed the spectacular sunrise every morning and sunset in the evenings and moonshine across the ocean. The location was great. We were near a market, across the street from prepared food choices and shopping. We drove to white sand beaches to swim, snorkel with turtles and see turtles on the shoreline. There was so much to see and do , one trip is never enough! We relaxed in the sun everyday with a full ocean view and fell asleep to the rhythmic ocean waves! We had a really great time and hope to return to our "Laie home" someday! Thank you Victoria for being a gracious host and sharing a piece of your paradise with us!
