We had a wonderful time at the property. Beautiful drive & a lot of fun roadside stops along the way. Pro: HOT TUB was clean and hot upon arrival, Waterviews were relaxing in the morning with a cup of coffee, easy directions from host, responds quickly when we had questions, couch & chairs were comfortable and supportive, kitchen was fully stocked with equipment to make a home cooked meal, bbq equipment available too, all amenities were included as stated in the listing Cons: The mattresses for both rooms may need to be updated/replaced soon. They were a bit saggy & unsupported if sleeping for over 5-6 hours. Overall: I would return and bring guests to stay again.

We came for our anniversary for some much needed rest & relaxation. The hosts Linda & Greg were so welcoming, and provided us with everything we needed + more! Great view of the Hood Canal & the Hot Tub was very enjoyable!

The property was perfect for a fun girls weekend away. Check in was easy. The view was beautiful. The hot tub was amazing. We had a great time and will be back.

What a wonderful and relaxing place to stay. The view was great and the property was very clean and comfortable. The owners were very friendly and responsive. We dug for clams and gathered oysters for some wonderful meals that we prepared in the very nicely stocked kitchen. We would definitely go back!

We had an amazing time at Pebble Beach. The water was great and the home owners are extremely kind and generous. They provided many things most rentals do not and were fun to chat with!

This place was a perfect weekend getaway. Brought or 2 little dogs along, found some great places to walk both on the beach and behind this property. Quiet relaxing and just what we needed.

In the words of my fiancé who’s birthday we were celebrating…. “This has been the best birthday weekend!” We has an absolute blast at Pebble Beach Place. Greg and Linda were very welcoming and so helpful. We had a great time digging clams and picking oysters on their private beach. We also enjoyed their recommendation of the Alderbrook Resort for a nice dinner and the oyster market in Hoodsport for some yummy chowder. It was a great weekend and we can’t wait to go back!!

We spent 3 days exploring Hood Canal and just enjoying the garden, deck and views this location has to offer. Linda was very helpful with giving us tips for the local area.

Very lovely property, hot tub did not disappoint and dog friendly. Good for four adults for a weekend get away. Had everything we needed for cooking meals and relaxing. Beds were comfortable and towels were soft and plentiful. Intriguing collection of kitchen and dining antiques. The chocolate, wine, tea, and basic pantry items were nice also. Will stay again when we come back to the area.

We had such a great time at this property! The house was comfortable and lovely, the hot tub and view was relaxing, and it's in driving distance to so many fun things! We got in late the first night and had a little trouble finding the right road to turn onto in the dark, but once we found the street sign we were just fine! It was a wonderful anniversary weekend!

We and our 2 Fur babies throughly enjoyed our stay. From start to finish we had nothing but great treatment, hospitality from Linda. Unexplainable how well we were well taken care of. Always quick response to questions and always available to us. Thank you for sharing this gem of a place.

We had a delightful stay, despite the incessant rain. The apartment is spacious and well-stocked (perhaps a bit too much?) and well decorated. We liked that it was in between Alderbrook Resort (where we went for a meal) and Twanoh State Park (where we went for a rainy-day hike -- the salmon were abundant, swimming up-creek). We enjoyed a glass of wine on the dock as the sun set (the only dry time!), though the noise from the road was a bit disturbing to two people who live in a super quiet setting. The little extras (bottle of wine, chocolates, thick cozy robes) provided by the hosts were appreciated and made us feel welcome. We didn't realize that Hwy 106 (a somewhat busy road along the shore of Hood Canal) sits between the house/cottage and the water's edge and this made the setting feel a bit busier than we would have liked for a quiet getaway. And while the cottage has a sideways view of the water, it sits behind the house so the main view out the kitchen is of a roof. Still, the hot tub was lovely and we had a sweet time.

Linda's cabin was exactly as described. Communication was easy and helpful and the cabin was beautiful with easy access to the Olympics.

Linda was great with communication with directions and prompt replies. The location had wonderful views from the loft which was wonderful to drink your morning coffee and watch all the boats head out for their fishing trips.

Had a good couple of days away from responsibilities at home. Able to get some much needed R&R. It was close enough to get there quickly, but far enough away that cares were forgotten. Lovely views of the water and walking paths were easy to access and navigate. Wonderful visit. Will return, hopefully.

We totally enjoyed our stay at Pebble Beach Place. The cozy atmosphere and well appointed and clean space had a very sweet cottage feel with a lovely view. Linda was such a kind, generous and helpful host and really went the extra mile. Such a good experience all around!

It was everything you could ask for and more!

Beautiful spot at the Southern end of Hood Canal (reportedly the only natural fjord in the lower 48 states of the USA). Linda is incredibly hospitable and has a nicely stocked pantry and kitchen. This is not a gourmet kitchen, but thought I'd point it out for those of you who forget to bring coffee or snacks for your first morning. We arrived to find a basket filled with thin almond cookies, crackers, chips and a bottle of local red wine! Can you say "Welcome!". Further, Linda took extra effort to be sure we felt comfortable using the entire deck area around the house which included hot tub, chaise lounges, gas fire pit with comfy chairs, etc. It felt like the deck of a private yacht at anchor looking out toward the dock over the tops of pine trees that line the hidden driveway. "Pebble Beach Place" is aptly named. While you won't find a sandy beach immediately in walking distance, they do exist in the area and there is a private dock to enjoy without all the hassle of trying to find parking and walking a long way Jump in and swim or just sit back in chairs provided by the host. Remember, this is oyster farming territory so water shoes or sandals are advisable if you plan to venture onto the pebble/stone beaches. The cottage is situated behind, but looks over the main house and deck. One thing to consider- entry stairs in the cottage will challenge elderly. We dined at a few local spots and found a new favorite that has a trio of fund places. "Two Margaritas" Mexican restaurant has schooner-sized Margs that compete with the best (1 will be all you want!). You can dine indoors or outside with a view of the water. The beauty is that the restaurant is situated directly next door to the Hood Canal Marina boat launch and community store (which focuses on locally produced goods such as honey, frozen fruit-juice pops, ceramics, scarves, etc.) - worth the trip. As if that wasn't enough, directly across the street is a small market and counter selling locally produced ice-cream. If you want an old-fashioned breakfast, head up to "The Tides" - about 30 minutes away. It is truly nothing fancy, but kicks out fresh food and truly big pancakes - the blueberry/bacon is my fav. For a dose of luxury dining or access to water sports rentals and boat charters, head directly to the Alderbrook Resort & Spa - a fully restored resort built in 1913 that has all you can desire. Don't miss this spot. All I can say is, "I will return

Wow gorgeous place! Fantastic hosts. Completely stocked full of wonderful amenities and delightful touches. Beautiful view, lovely beach and a hot tub under the stars! Have never stayed in a VRBO like this before! Fresh coffee beans for our morning coffe, bagels and cream cheese plus lots more! Did I mention the chocolates by the bed to boot ? We will definitely be coming back!

Couldnt of asked for a better stay! The place was so cute & cozy. Over the top in stocking everything one could possibly want or need, even contact solution!! Only thing we could not find was a cheese grater of all things. Very very accommodating. The Welcome goodie basket & chocolates galore were a fantastic unexpected surprise, the stocked pantry and refrigerator left us in aww..They really out did themselves!!! This place really felt inviting. The hot tub was off the hook!!! Fireplace was cozy, the kitchen just awesome...The Hostes/owners were the nicest people you would ever want to meet..cant find one negitive thing about our experience other than our stay was way too short! Loved the place & the owners!! Definitly coming back!!!! Did I mention the private oysters beds..amazing!! We picked at 9:30pm in the rain..ALL in ALL The PERFECT BIRTHDAY GETAWAY FOR MY WIFE!! Loved our stay. Our host was wonderful and extremely helpful. I have a hard time with steps so just so you know you will be using them. The view is asque a little from the main house but all in all it's just lovely. The dock is so nice, we had chairs and sat and watched all the seals.etc,.. wonderful time

This was an absolutely perfect ending to our family Olympic Peninsula vacation. Such a relaxing and beautiful setting. Linda was so very friendly and helpful. The place had everything we needed and Linda stocked it with extra goodies before we arrived. Everything was ready at the house (the pantry/fridge were fully stocked) and the water view from the house was beautiful. We picked oysters (so many oysters!!!) and clams, grilled them for dinner (+ some left over to go!) – that was AMAZING! What a perfect get-away for friends needing some time away from the daily grind. Once you get to Pebble Beach Place you know you're in for a treat! It's very cozy and just what the doctor ordered! Linda was a very accommodating host there to greet us and help us. If you're there to dig clams and shuck oysters she has all you need. If you're not in the mood to cook go to the Alderbrook Resort or Robinhood Restaurant as you will be in for a treat with the tranquil outdoors and wonderful food. It's an annual tradition for my partner and I to head out of the city over Christmas, to escape for a few days and enjoy the peace and quiet of someplace in rural Washington. This year we wanted to find a place with a hot tub within our budget -- and booked Linda and Greg's place. It was more than we hoped for. The apartment was spacious and the best part was it was totally stocked. Totally. Like Christmas again, only with food and chocolate. We spent our evenings in the hot tub, over looking Hood Canal, after venturing out in the day time to the eastern edge of the Olympic range. This area is so beautiful, the air smells so good, and Pebble Beach Place is a perfect springboard for outdoor activity. Book this place!!

Our family had the most wonderful time staying at Pebble Beach. With two young children, it can be difficult to find a place of comfort away from home but Linda and Greg made this our favorite family trip ever! The home is beautiful with lots of space. The view was unbelievable and we enjoyed our peaceful mornings looking out on the water snuggled up with the kiddos. If you're ever in the Union area, staying at Pebble Beach is a must!

My husband and I found this carriage house to be a wonderful home away from home. Linda met us as we pulled in to tell us to make ourselves at home, which we did. She had graciously stocked the fridge with all the breakfast necessities you would need, which was greatly appreciated. A basket of snacks were available for our snacking pleasure. It's evident that Linda wants her guests to feel special and welcome. The house has been lovingly furnished and it shows. The carriage house has a lovely view of Hood Canal from the living area that we enjoyed each morning and evening. The main house has a lovely deck attached with plenty of sitting for everyone. There was a big hot tub which we ran out of time to enjoy. We did appreciate that the deck was for our private use while we were there. The property was lovely and very well furnished with everything one would need. Beds were comfy with extra pillows in the closet. The bathroom had a stacked washer/dryer which ensured we left with all clean clothes. We used and enjoyed the fast internet as well. Thanks for a great stay Linda and we'll be in touch if we are ever in the area again. Highly recommended!!
