Hard to beat Kiahuna!

The owners were very helpful in sharing about the property and what to do in the area.

We had a great stay at Kim’s property. Everything listed was accurate, clean, easy communication & went smoothly. No AC but she has plenty of fans that help. The boogie boards and sand toys were great to have. We rented snorkel gear from the beach hut and had a great time. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the beginning of June. While in Koloa, we tried 3 different beaches and walked by a 4th. This was our favorite for playing in the sand and our kids playing in the waves. The bottom is mostly sandy with some scattered smaller rocks. This makes for a very easy entry for snorkeling, without the crowds of Poipu beach. Other beaches had a wider variety of fish and calmer water, but with much more difficult and rocky entries, resulting in scraped legs. Bonus: no urchins here! The beach hut was awesome to have so that we could pick up clean beach towels and not have to wash/ reuse them daily. Staying right across from a small shopping center was nice as well as being such a short drive from the larger Kukui'ula shopping center. We went to both places several times. The condo has all the cookware you could need, even a small rice cooker! I was very surprised at how well the kitchen was stocked. One thing to note is that there is a lot of noise from groundskeepers during the day, doing leafblowing and other maintenance. Since we didn't have a napping baby, it wasn't a problem. The landscaping is beautiful! The roosters will wake you up at 4am, but you'll be on mainland US time, so that's not too much of a problem, either. Our contact with the property manager was frequent beforehand and VERY clear. I couldn't have asked for better. We visited the Poipu Beach Club twice and the kids enjoyed the pool, waterslide, and hot tub. Thanks for a fun stay!

Wonderful two story condo in the beautiful Kiahuna Plantation resort. No ocean views, but the garden views on the two patios (one upper and one lower) were great. The gardening in the entire resort is amazing. In addition to the beach (which is a short walk thorough the resort), we really enjoyed access to the athletic club. Pool was great for kids, and we also played pickle ball and used their gym equipment. It’s within walking distance, but we drove back and forth too. The club has great food too, and none of the long waits you sometimes get at other restaurants. Make sure to try the “Little Fish Coffee”, which is almost across the street from this condo. Working with Kim (the host) on the rental was a breeze too: super responsive and helpful. Will definitely be back!

We had a great stay! The condo was stocked with body boards, chairs, and umbrellas. The kids had a blast playing in the water. Only a short walk from our condo to the best beach on Kauai.

We traveled to Kuaui with not just my family (4) but my parents (2), brother and his wife (2) and friends (2). This was a great unit for us all to have Christmas dinner in as there is ample seating. Kitchen was nice and open to living area which was also great for entertaining. Everything was very clean and the bed was super comfy in main bedroom. My kids liked there room as well as they could make it "dark" eith the shutters for sleeping in. Boogie Boards were also well receieved for beach fun.

Our family stayed here and had a great time. the pool is perfect for kids and a very short walk from the condo. It's also great that the there are restaurants and coffee shops across the street. The unit is nice and what you see in the photos. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the king size mattress is pretty bouncy and uncomfortable. I emailed the owner and she's going to replace it. If it was replaced I would totally go back to this unit. Everything else was great.

We loved the condominium with its short walk to the ocean. The garden is beautiful with birds and lush, tropical plants everywhere. The home is wonderfully furnished and is great for hosting friends with the open floor plan. We will go back for sure!

Great property in an amazing project. Unit had everything we could have wanted and owner was very accessible. Well stocked for all your vacation needs. We would stay in this unit again. Mahalo and Aloha

I do not go to Hawaii for the lodging. I go for the beauty of Kauai, 100%. The location of our unit was in such close proximity to probably my favorite beach on the island, which is particularly beneficial as we have young children. My major complain in the unit was with the beds. The were so extremely uncomfortable that I neither my wife nor I could get a good nights rest, and my back is still hurting. We even switched to sleeping in the room with the two twin beds, my wife and I sleeping separately, to see if we could sleep better, but the beds were just as terrible in quality. For the price we paid, I don’t think it was worth it. Additionally, the laundry was so far that doing laundry was a real inconvenience. The property and grounds were VERY well maintained and we LOVED the fitness center with the outdoor pool, although it was not directly on the property, so we did drive there as we had our 3 kids and their pool things with us.

My family and I had a wonderful time at this condo! We walked to the gorgeous beach in just a few minutes and could easily walk to shops and restaurants close by. The condo is spacious and the grounds are beautiful. Kim was quick to reply and very helpful. It was a great trip!

We loved the room set up in this unit. Nice larger private rooms and bathrooms. Super clean and super convenient to everything in Poipu. Owner was very responsive to questions prior to our stay. The unit was louder than I would have expected. Probably due to several restaurants across the way. However things usually quieted down by 11:00. The other bummer was the lack of spices for cooking. I understand it’s a policy of the management company but something that many private VRBOs include and that those who like to cook will miss.

Condo was in excellent shape. Great location for beach or pool. Nicely decorated and kitchen well equipped. One small quibble, there were no useable beach things. I know that this changes depending upon who stayed previously but thought I'd mention it.
