This was a great and super practical stay! The house’s decor was too cute and the location was very convenient and close to the beach! We loved our stay!

The dishwasher in the kitchen must have been broken for a long time because the dishes, silverware, kitchen tools were all dirty but put away in its place. We had to wash everything before you could use it. We reported the dishwasher broken and management co said nothing was going to be done about it, nor did they offer any solution. Also, the dirty kitchen was host to roaches that wondered the common spaces. The place says it sleeps 12, but it really sleeps 8 comfortably. There were no sheets for the trundle bed and not enough bath towels for all the guests staying. For 9 people, we had 7 towels. DO NOT USE the bike company, Shoreline, as recommended by the rental property. We rented 6 bikes from them. Apparently kids run around Watercolor stealing bikes when they are not locked down. Our kids came inside to change cloths and go back out - during that 10 minutes, 2 bikes were stolen from our driveway. When we contacted the company, they could not give us any identifying details about the bike or info on how to track them. We had no help from the bike company. We searched for 4 hours for our bikes. The Sheriff said most bike Co. have trackers on their bikes, or numbers on their bikes that identifies them and I should not be charged because bikes get stolen all the time (everyday) and the company always recover them because when the resort finds them, they call the bike company to pick them up. Not our case. Before we checked out, the bike company already charged over $370 for each bike missing. The house was not a total loss, it has a lovely front porch swing and overall it was clean and the kitchen was well equipped (after you pre-wash everything and hand wash all the dishes post meal). It was not the relaxing get away we hoped for. The lack of support from the management company meant we had to deal with all the problems ourselves.

Overall our stay was very nice. The layout was perfect for our group and met most of our basic needs. We did find it unusual that you don't provide enough toilet paper, tissues, laundry detergent, dishwasher soap ect. We also didn't have any toilet paper in the powder room or paper towels when we first arrived. I called right away and we never received any until mid day the next day. We went out and had to purchase our own. Kind of disappointing for the amount of money we paid. The door to the powder room didn't close so we couldn't really use it. The toilet kept running and running too. Lastly, if watercolor does not provide beach towels the unit needs to provide them. You can't expect us traveling from Seattle to pack 10 Beach towels in our bags. We had to go out and purchase those too.

We loved the house and the location, however, there were a few issues that could be easily resolved if owner wants to: the microwave didn't work; the dishwasher didn't work; the blender didn't work. There were no potholders available to remove hot dishes from the oven and only one dishtowel; not a single serving platter and only four steak knives; mildew on outdoor furniture cushions. Two parking spaces are to be available to renters, but owner's golf cart is parked in parking area so it makes it very tight for two guest vehicles to park without bumping doors into each other.

The house itself is wonderful in all ways. It is clean, comfortable, convenient, and beautiful. The neighborhood is perfectly kept and easy to navigate. The wristbands we were given to access to neighborhood pool club and private beach access were incorrectly dated, therefore we were met with an unfriendly staff at the pool club because of this. Make sure your wristbands are correct before you arrive. The only other info we would have needed was about the lack of transportation to and from and within the neighborhood. Book all airport travel ahead of time (weeks) and rent a car if you can. No uber/lyft or cab service exists. A golf cart service is there and great, just not entirely convenient. This review is a 5 for the house and a 4 for location amenities.

This was our second time here and enjoyed the stay!!

Called a day ahead and asked for an early check in (2 pm instead of 4pm). We knew house was not rented the 2 previous nights. Called around noon on day of check in and were told they had guests in the house and hadn't finished cleaning and inspecting but to call back at 3. Called at 2:30 and were told had not been inspected and we could not check in until 4. Arrived at house at 4 could not pull in rear parking spaces because bicycles were strewn all over back and in Parking spaces. Hair on floor in 2 bathrooms, and not a single extra pillow had cases. The only pillows with pillow cases were on the beds. The extra pillows in the closets had not pillow cases and no extra linens. We understand check-in and check-out times, but property manager made no effort at all and we had friends staying near house and said no one had been there for 2 days. The house is nice and each bedroom with its own bath is nice for 4 adult couples. I would replace the property managers.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Rudy's Rendezvous! We have stayed in several areas along 30A over the years and Watercolor is our new favorite. The house is situated in the middle of everything Watercolor (& Seaside) have to offer and its all a short walk or bike ride away. The home was beautiful and comfortable and perfect for a large group. The huge pantry in the kitchen, wide open storage in the laundry room and the drawers and closets galore made it very easy to move right in and enjoy our vacation. I had read in a previous review that Rudy's was needing a pan update so I packed a larger nonstick pan which I was glad I had done. As is typical it seems in two story homes, the upstairs rooms were warmer but between the plug in fans at Rudy's and the few fans I brought from home, we had plenty for the 6 who slept up there. The beds and linens were comfortable, we had plenty of bath towels and we had a starter supply of everything I would think necessary. Everyone absolutely loved the front porch swing! Only negatives I could say were the golf cart stored in the back driveway made it difficult for two of our large SUVs to fit with much room to open the doors and there were about 6 abandoned broken bikes that were chained to the bike rack that were difficult to navigate our rented bikes around and secure them to something. But in no way did this color our opinion of Rudy's, we loved it!

No heating in the house and day 1 when we arrived. Technician sent but it only worked the day 2 Many kitchen tools missing No locks for th bike, we had to request them The only compensation proposed on day 2 due to the temperature in the house was to vacate the house and get reimbursed. Quite disappointing.

We had an INCREDIBLE week at Rudy’s Rendezvous in Watercolor!! The house had so many things to love, from the space for our family of five, the bikes, the location (a two minute walk to Camp Watercolor, a two minute drive to the beach), and the beach/pool access. We had so much fun riding around the neighborhood and spending afternoons in the lazy river at Camp Watercolor or watching the spectacular sunsets from the beach club or the beach. Thanks so much for such a clean, spacious and perfectly located place to stay!!!

The house was laid out well and suited as far as location. It was dirty. We were planning to clean anyway, but it was really dirty. Dishes had food stuck to them. Lipstick (not ours) on glasses in the cabinet. Old food in the drawers. Other people's clothes under the bed. The sink in the master wouldn't drain on the first day so when we pulled out the drain stop it was covered in old hair. Horrifying. All of the cookware provided is unusable as it is warped and doesn't make contact with the stove, creating a problem on an electric. The other part that we found off-putting were the signs in the house about not soiling the towels or we would be charged and the stickers on the bikes threatening charges if we lost or damaged them. It wasn't welcoming and didn't make us feel like we paid over $5k to stay there. Other management companies don't do that. It was kind of embarrassing riding around town while everyone else has the cute bikes with the baskets and ours scream LOCK IT OR LOSE IT. No propane in the tank which eventually got filled after we called and left a message about it. No one to answer the phone on a Tuesday morning at 10 am though. Just didn't have a great experience.

The house itself was cute and in a great location. My only complaint is how little they supplied at the home for us. Each room had one roll of toilet paper and we had to make an extra trip to Publix to go get toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing detergent, etc. and when you are paying this much to rent a home, you should not have to stop your vacation to go to the store to buy those items. We had already stopped there for our food/beverages, etc. They also did not supply any spices/salt/pepper and we are used to having those readily available at the home. We also could never get the TV in the living room to work and contacted them about that but never heard back.

Rudy's was a nice place to stay in a good location. It was clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen was adequate and the porch was wonderful. However, the grill did not have propane, the bikes (our main mode of transportation during our stay) were a mess, one had a flat tire, two had handle bar issues and another the other had a terribly wobbly seat. We ended up having to rent a bike otherwise we would have had to wait 3 days for repair. The bike rental attendants were kind enough to tighten the handle bars on 2 bikes. If you advertise these as amenities then they should be in good repair and ready for use.

We really enjoyed staying in Watercolor, for some of our group it was their first time. I don't know if I would recommend this particular house. We would not stay in it again. The location is good on one of the main streets and you can walk to the bocce ball court and camp watercolor from there and very close to the Publix shopping center. The layout of house is good and the wifi is amazing. It is a beautiful home and well decorated. Now then, the two upstairs bedrooms were very warm and had poor circulation. All the kids staying upstairs ended up spralled out in the living room each night since it was too hot to sleep upstairs. When we complained the management company got an AC guy out there quickly but even with him fixing the frozen unit, the units just can't keep the upstairs comfy. They need ceiling fans in those upstairs rooms. The dishwasher and washing machine were a little tricky to get started. The owner golf cart takes up half the back driveway. If we can't use it then move it over for more parking. The bikes that come with the house are not in great shape and need to be fixed or replaced. Hope that helps.

Rudy's Rendezvous is in a great location and perfect for our two small families! I would highly recommend!

Would recommend to anyone considering watercolor as a destination.

We enjoyed are stay at this property. It was clean and functional. Loved the porch bed swing. This home should include the golf cart that is there taking up parking space. Without golf cart it is cumbersome to take all beach gear on bikes. Had a few issues: bbq was not usable b/c it was filthy. Bikes were rusty, old, missing grips and one was not usable. Someone came out to put grips on but it was really annoying to have to make a call and wait for service the next day. Keys left for opening and locking front and back door should have a key fob or something. Upstairs bedroom lighting was dim and the bathroom sink did not have a drain stopper. Management company should review home and make sure all things are functional before a renter checks in.

Beautiful home, a few kinks but manager was engaged to help to timely resolve. A great place to relax and reconnect with family and friends.

Our weekend rendezvous at Rudy's Rendezvous was incredible! We were there for the 30a songwriters festival and the location was perfect. So many venues were within biking distance. We had four couples staying and we were all very comfortable in this beautiful home. We did a lot of cooking & the kitchen is very well equipped. The bedrooms are roomy & the beds are extremely comfortable. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. We made a lot of great memories and we can't wait to go back!

This home is not only beautifully and tastefully decorated, it is very comfortable. It is conveniently located within walking distance to all the Watercolor amenities. We hope to stay here during future beach trips.

Lived in feeling; very well stocked kitchen for those who want to cook meals at the house; plenty of towels in all bathrooms; comfortable beds; one improvement would be a new clothes dryer as the one in the house was frustrating to use; throw rugs were in need of replacement

A lovely place to stay!

Everything was absolutely perfect, the house was much more spacious than even the pictures show. The private watercolor beach/pool pass was a nice added touch! WE will be back!

The entire process from picking out the place to rent to check out was a breeze. The house was in the perfect location for my crew( 1 mom and 9- 19-21 yr old college kids). We were close to the grocery store and close enough to the beach. Rudy’s Rendezvous was the perfect house for our short stay. The set up was perfect everyone had a bed to sleep in. The kitchen is well stocked and the house is just so comfortable. I am ready to come back for another vacation!

Had a great time with my kids.. only reason they didn’t get 5 stars was we were supposed to get 5 bikes but only 3 were rideable.

Loved the location and the house is beautiful

The directions were all very clear. The decor is beautiful, good location. Getting to the beach is a bit of a hike. Check out time is so early that it limits your stay significantly, they were inflexible with ours. Main issue was cleanliness. Upon arrival, bugs on beds, and 2 beds had clearly not been changed from previous person (hair on sheets and in showers). It took several phone calls for me to get in touch with management company. Then, they did send cleaners to change all of the sheets on all of the beds. That was very nice. But our first day was negatively impacted by lack of cleanliness .

First time for us to use this type of lodging. Rudy’s was fantastic. I hope they are all this good. Also, first time in watercolor. We were close enough to the action to enjoy the fun yet far enough to slip away for peace. We had a blast. Teens, college, midlife and grandparents all under one roof. Plenty of space. Could have added a couple more and been comfy. We had 7 ppl. Plenty of room. These people take great care of this house.
