My husband and I were here to celebrate our anniversary. The house was very neat, clean, & quiet.

Tom, was an excellent host and his preparations to detail & communications before our visit was outstanding. This was our second stay in the cottage and it was exemplary. Quiet neighborhood and a excellent home for us and our pet Bichon, Katie Belle visiting St, Mary's.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The property owner was very kind and responsive. There are two bicycles to use and we had a great time when we went for a short ride. For us, this was a perfect little house in one of Georgia's quaintest and prettiest small towns. We absolutely hope to return in the future. Our rating: 5.0 out of 5.0

We had a wonderful stay. This is a spacious, well appointed, clean rental with great amenities and fabulous location. The outdoor courtyard is adorable and a great add-on. Communication with the host was clear and easy.

Lots of paved parking right outside the front door; no steps to get inside. There is equivalent of one step to get into/out of the shower, but there is a grab bar, which is not always the case. Owner was responsive.

We couldn't ask for a better experience. The property is adorable, and was perfect for our dog with the fenced in yard. It's walking distance to the Historic district of St Mary's, which is quaint and beautiful. Typical southern charm and chill atmosphere. Tom was a perfect host! Thanks Tom!!😊

We were very pleased with our accommodations at the Green Cottage. It was very accurately displayed on the VRBO website, except I believe the furniture in the living room is new. Everything we needed was provided, and our two small dogs were very happy with their time in the backyard. Tom, our host, was very quick to answer any questions that we had and was very understanding when our trip had to be cut short by a few days. You will not go wrong staying at this wonderful vacation rental.

Me and a few family and friends stayed here over a weekend for my birthday trip and absolutely loved it! The host was super nice and communicated very well! The cottage was super clean and the living room had been updated from the pictures and looked really nice and the outside area was beautiful and when we arrived the fairy lights outside had been turned on and it was very cute! The cottage is close to town too which was nice. Overall I really enjoyed the stay!

The green cottage is the perfect spot to stay to catch the ferry to Cumberland Island. The kitchen is stocked with multiple small appliances, food storage containers, nice pans, etc! Super clean and very well labeled with great communication. The tv was a little tricky even with the included directions, but it worked. :) 10/10 I’d stay here again.

The Green House Cottage was clean and comfortable, all wrapped up in the charming little town of St. Mary’s. It is very accurately represented, and the host is helpful and timely with all communications. Our only regret was that we were too busy to make use of the lovely courtyard and bicycles.

It was walking distance to town and with the Christmas lights and festivities going on, it was perfect. We had plenty of room for our two dog beds and they loved the fenced in yard. We needed to be with them in the back yard since we have one who is a known Houdini who likes to escape if something is on the other side of the fence. It wasn't a problem, since we didn't let her have that freedom. Thanks so much for the comfortable stay.

We met up with some sailing family members for Thanksgiving in St. Mary's. This unusual cottage gave us a great venue for prepping and eating a meal for eight and was close enough to easily walk to the waterfront. The fenced yard was perfect for our two dogs. You can tell that this cottage was constructed as a commercial building, but it makes a very comfortable living quarters. Two spacious bedrooms, a shower bath, and a large great room for everything else. The washer and dryer were a plus. The owner was easy to communicate with and obviously takes pride in the house. It was a good value and a great escape from the ordinary!

This is our second stay in this cottage and the third with these owners. Communication with Tom was easy, and he made sure we had all of the information we needed for our stay. I love the simple floor plan because it makes keeping things tidy and clean with two dogs a breeze. We enjoyed it as much as the last visit and will be back!

Nice little cottage near waterfront in St Marys GA. Good use of space and comfortable for 4 visitors. Location good for visits to Cumberland Island, Jekyll Island, Okefenokee Swamp in Georgia.

Great place for what it is. Clean, failrly priced, nice location, quiet little Americana town. Very comfortable for my family of 4, i would definitely recommend this house. Georgia once again was amazing. As more people move to the south, I hope Georgia continues to strive for moderation, uphold our constitution and remain a natural beauty. God bless the southern 7!

By far the best place to stay in St. Marys, GA is the Green Cottage! The owner, Tom, is such an awesome host! All communications with him were positive and friendly. The Cottage was spic and span! Even the floors were squeaky clean! Besides new furniture in the Cottage, there are so many amenities to make your stay carefree. The huge foyer is a great landing place for your luggage. I like that there are doors closing off the foyer so I can load and unload my van without the worry my pup will run out! I love the washer/dryer in the Cottage so I can keep up on our laundry! They have 2 different kinds of coffee makers and even a toaster to accommodate bagels! I was glad to find foil in one of the kitchen drawers when I had to use the oven. My husband rode the bikes provided so we didn't have to move our van since we pulled in. The neighborhood is quiet which contributed to a restful nights' sleep. The mattresses are very comfortable. I like that the 2 bedrooms are on opposite ends of the Cottage. Our mini dachshund was right at home here. The Green Cottage is truly a hidden gem! I highly recommend the Green Cottage!
