Needed time away from home and Canaan is such a relaxing and quiet area. Maintenance was very prompt in coming to take care of the tv issues. Office personnel was very professional and helpful.

Having accessibility to (2) washer & dryers was great! There was an adequate amount of dishes & utensils to use & the location of the property is a short drive from any stocked trout streams! The staff was great, quick, easy, & painless check-in with plenty of instruction on where to put trash and how to check out

The size, number of bedrooms and flow for entertaining. I think one of the strengths of your company is having a diverse staff. You have enough size to to address problems rapidly. When your vacation is only for a week you can't afford to wait 3 days to have an issue addressed.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Bear's Den cabin. It was the perfect size for our family and was easy to get to. Would definitely recommend staying here. Staff was great about answering any questions we had.

Overall I was happy with our stay at the Beard Den. The cabin was large and accommodating. The kitchen was very well stocked. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. It had spices, plenty of cooking utensils, and a dish washer. It made it much easier to cook for a group of people. Questions I asked through VRBO were answered very quickly, and the answers were detailed, and helpful. Staff at the office location were very friendly and helpful.

It was great to have lots of space for our family to spread out. Great seating on the main level and lower level. The rear private wooded view was wonderful to watch the deer. Hot tub was relaxing and fun during the snowflakes. Becky has been helpful each and every time we called her or emailed her. Very easy to work with.

There were some maintenance items that need attention, but overall a GREAT stay!! I would selecthis home again! Very friendly & helpful! We have made this an annual event for over 20 years & your company has become our reliable provider!

Property was beautiful. will def come back some day. The cabin was great, the location was just what we were looking for. The amenities were great. We came after hours and getting the key was great, no complications with after hour check in.

Enjoyed our time at Bear's Den, our favorite home in Canaan Valley! Everyone at the office was very friendly and the houses are beautiful. Nice quiet place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay at the property - the location was convenient, the area was lovely, and the staff were top-notch. Thanks so much! The hot tub was nice, as well as the layout of the house with bottom level that included a full bath, two bedrooms, a 'living space' area complete with small fridge and microwave. The team was fantastic. We had actually rented another property prior to our arrival in the area and there was a communication issue with the owner and we were not allowed access to the home once we arrived in the area so we were stuck without a place to stay. I found the website, searched and found a property that was available and called in the morning, was able to go right over to the office and they allowed us entry right away. They couldn't have been nicer or easier to work with. Needless to say my stress level dropped significantly and I was able to enjoy our mountain weekend.

I liked that the house had many things to keep people with different interests entertained. Everyone at Mountain Top has always been very helpful.

Really great time. Loved the house and the relaxation it brought my family. The house was set up nicely. There was a good mixture of beds for the adults and the kids. We loved having the pool table, ping pong, and air hockey table inside. We got a lot of use out of them. We also liked having the hot tub and fire pit. They were both great things. It was nice to be able to just take off walking outside. Everyone that I dealt with was great. I got everything I needed.

This house was perfect for hosting family members who were unable to obtain a room at the Canaan Valley Lodge. Clean and equipped with things to do....air hockey, pool table, hot tub and board games....all of which our family enjoyed! For those who want to drive over to the Canaan Valley restaurant, it is about 12 minutes away. Be aware that GPS might not give perfect directions to the house. It is the first house on the left after you turn into Winterset Dr. Google Maps was directing us all the way up to the end of the road!

The privacy of the backyard was beautiful with the fall foliage. The hot tub was perfect in size and cleanliness. The whole house was sparkling clean and had just what we needed to prepare meals. The outside fire pit was an added bonus! We loved using the ping pong table, pool table, and air hockey table, so much fun! Great cabin in a great area! Could not have been better! Thank you!

Very relaxing, check-in was easy, lovely home. Comfortable living room, comfortable beds, privacy and ample parking. Staff answered emails quickly. It was an easier process even with COVID-19.

Bear's Den house has the perfect location. It is close to the slopes but also at the beginning of the community which makes the access to the property very easy. The house is fully furnished and updated. The layout works great for multifamily visits - we had kids on the 2nd floor and then one couple on main floor and the other couple downstairs. Even though we were together on vacation we all could have our privacy. Family room downstairs was a lot of fun and hot tub was a plus. We did not use it as much since we went there in August but it felt good to hop in after a round of golf. We will recommend this place and will like to come back in the future. I really appreciated fast responses from your staff. Whenever I called I was able to speak with a person and was able to have all my questions answered. It was easy to book the rental. I used VRBO. Check in and check out was also easy and contact less which we appreciated.

This was our first vacation to the mountains in West Virginia. We had a great time. The property looked great and it had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed the play room a lot but on the side note the pool table is not in the best shape. But for us it was enough and we played almost every evening. Having TV on the main floor and then downstairs was very convenient since we went there with our friends. This way kids could watch different shows in the evening. Hot tub was a big hit as well. The location is perfect. Close to everything and with privacy. Furnishing was nice and beds were comfortable. We loved this property and will come back for sure.

Spent a long weekend with family here. It was perfect for us. Will definitely stay again.

The backyard was very peaceful and private. The house sits on a good size lot. Our kids loved the basement and played ping pong and air hockey every night. The fact it was pet friendly made it a complete family vacation. Great place to relax, we would come back. Everyone was great and helpful.

Overall our stay at Bear's Den was perfect. Plenty of entertainment, we got plenty of enjoyment out of the ping pong, pool table and air hockey. The hottub was a hotspot at nighttime for everyone. The beautiful kitchen was awesome to have all 10 of us gather at the huge table and enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday. The grill also was plenty big to hold enough food for our big family. The kitchen was well stock with everything you needed. The beds were very comfortable, usually there's atleast one person complaining about the beds on vacation but not one complaint this time. The décor in the house was on point! The little extras like toilet paper, soap, and trashbags was a bonus. Most rentals don't supply those things. I would recommend Bear's Den for a small or large family, all of our family ages 7 thru 52 had nothing but good reviews. We really didn't have any contact with team members, we did everything online and keys were picked up and dropped off at the dropbox.

Had a wonderful time at Bear's Den with our 4 young adult children. Plenty of room and plenty of distractions at the house. Our dog loved it too. The hot tub was very popular - as was the game room. The location is perfect for accessing everything around Canaan Valley area. We will definitely be back! Email contact only - but very efficient. Check-out instructions need to be updated because the dumpster for trash is no longer located behind the rental office!
