Enjoyed a much needed week long break. Cabin is only a couple of miles from Pinecrest Lake and Strawberry.

This place is amazing. It is clean, cozy, spacious and close to everything. Chris is a wonderful person, he replies fast, takes care of everything and has provided many things in the house. I strongly recommend it.

The cabin was beautiful and contained all our necessities. My family had a great experience.

Booked this cabin for a summer get away with family and we loved every part of it. The rooms were spacious and plenty, everything was super clean. The area was so beautiful and the surrounding activities were excellent, from the lake to the movies under the stars and the river everything was so great. Only thing we were disappointed with was in the picture of the house when we booked, it showed a hammock but it wasn't there :(.

Cabin was clean, beautiful and everything we hoped it would be. Fully stocked and property manager was very helpful and responsive. We had a white Christmas. Cant wzit to do it again soon

The place was very clean and had all of the necessities for a weekend getaway!The cabin was even better than the pictures! It was updated and very clean. Only encountered minor issues - wifi connection could've been better, hot water ran out quickly if both showers were simultaneously in use, etc. Overall though, my group of family & close friends had a great weekend getaway!

My wife, three kids and I stayed at Nicks cabin with my sister in law and her son for 5 amazing relaxing days. Everything super clean and fully stocked. The kids enjoyed the three places to have a nice fire, especially the big fire pit down below making s’mores. Very quiet and relaxing location. The provided grille on the deck made us some delicious tri-tips on our final night. We plan on rebooking Nicks cabin again in the future. Chris was very responsive to our few questions which made everything a breeze! Thanks again!

We loved Nick's Cabin!! It was beautiful and easy to get to. The beds were comfortable and the loft bedroom was especially appreciated! We would definitely stay here again next time we are in the area. Also, it is close to a bunch of great hikes and day trip excursions.

We had a great time relaxing in this mountain cabin. It is away from the main street, so it is quite tranquil. Really nice touches to the house, a well-stocked kitchen, and a hammock on one of the deck made it perfect. Chris was very responsive through chat and email and answered all my silly questions immediately. I would definitely recommend this place.

This cabin is great. Plenty of space for you and your family or a few families to spread out. Stocked with all the necessities to include bug spray and sunscreen. The lake is a short 10 minute or so drive away and there is a trail that you can explore right at the end of the culdesac. Communication with the owner was great, I especially appreciated the hand written note and chocolates. All sorts of movies and games for you to enjoy. The kids loved every part of it. We will be returning.

Our family loves this cabin! We celebrated my granddaughter's birthday. The kids love the fire pit. More great family memories made!

We had a great time relaxing and spending time in the Pinecrest area. The house was perfect for 2 kids and 4 adults. The location was terrific as we went to the lake almost every day and explored other fun areas. We also left behind some ear pods that Chris contacted us about and sent to us right away. The only improvement I can think of would be to hook up the TV so that guests can stream Netflix, etc. I gave the place 5 stars because that was just a small detail since we spent most of the time outdoors and not in front of the TV. I would definitely recommend this place to others!

A large suite downstairs with a private deck and a large suite in the loft make it easy to have private space along with the cozy living space. Nice luxury touches in the bathrooms,nice bedroom furnishing, well stocked kitchen, and a nice grill made our stay a memorable time. The record high heat was the only tough thing.

Unseasonably warm, but we loved our stay at Nick's cabin. I've rented many homes through VRBO and have never had so many amenities provided. Chris thought of everything we could possibly need. We took advantage of many mornings and evenings on the deck and used the fire pit multiple times. It was like having an evening campout with the luxury of cabin living. For renters with young children, the cul-de-sac was perfect for nightly whiffle ball competitions. The cabin is centrally located between Twain Harte where we golfed, ate at "The Rock" and played miniature golf and Pinecrest Lake where we swam, hiked and rode horses at Aspen Meadows. Fly fishing in the nearby streams was also enjoyed by many of us. It was a great family reunion which left us with great memories. Thank you, Chris, for making your wonderful cabin available to us.

Nick's cabin had most everything we needed. It is close to Pinecrest and we loved the outdoor deck! Chris responded quickly when we had a couple of issues and fixed them promptly. It has an old family cabin feel. My critique would be that the furniture is dated and a bit worn. Also, the cabin does sleep nine but the dining area and living room do not accommodate nine. Our children are all teens and older and it was very cramped for the seven of us. I also wished there had been a couple of things included like an ice maker, a Brita filter and maybe some more games.

Nick’s cabin was amazing. Everything was delivered as listed and communication was fast and smooth. I would definitely stay here again. Also, Cleo’s Bath is a must do if you’re up for a little challenge!

Great place to get away for a few days, change of scenery, and still stay distanced from people. The cabin is beautiful, well stocked, and it is In the middle of the woods so plenty of quiet. Pinecrest lake and Tuolumne river are less than 10 minutes away and provide some great chances to enjoy being outside again. Chris is a great host and communicative with his guests.

We needed get out of the city, and this was the perfect place. A quick drive Pinecrest Lake, and a quiet neighborhood. There are a few mini marts and restaurants close by too. The deck and fireplace were great for hanging out, and the kitchen was relatively well equipped for all your cooking needs. The only thing to be aware of is if you're noise-sensitive. The upper bedroom is (as listed) a loft, so it's open, and the lower bedroom is right below the living room/kitchen area, so it's pretty loud if people are still up, and you're sleeping. It wasn't a huge deal for us, but could be for others. We had a few minor issues with appliances, but Chris (the owner/manager) was extremely quick to respond to all of my emails and even replaced the fridge which was having issues the next day. Mike his handyman was super helpful and pleasant, and help take care of the various issues on-site. Some times things just come up, and to us it's more important that people handle them graciously and quickly, which they did, and it we had a great trip. Would definitely consider coming back.

Very nice and comfortable cabin.

There was nothing that made our stay explicitly bad, but there were a lot of minor things that added up to a disappointing stay. The furniture is old, general upkeep and maintenance was lacking, and we had multiple issues with different fixtures. Some lowlights: 1) No gas in the barbecue tank. Credit in that upon getting my message, the owner had someone out in 10 minutes to replace it, but still... 2) The TV was a mess. Someone disconnected both the satellite receiver and the DVD player from the TV and electricity. Since their setup is so complicated it took me an hour or more to get things working. 3) 3 different issues with lighting -- Lights above the dining table, the couch, and in one of the bathrooms all didn't work right. 4) There are two large decks. One deck had ZERO furniture. 5) While it wasn't a big issue for us, the WiFi is brutally slow. You can't work remotely here.
