Gorgeous property with an amazing view & fantastic pool. We really enjoyed our stay and would return to this property for another summer stay. One thing I would mention to future guests: bring your own pillows. For such a great location and space, the pillows are a little sad and need a fresh update.

Very private, adjacent to parkland, vista views, ideal for nature lovers, would love to come back.

I loved this house as it was just the quiet getaway I was looking for. I was traveling with my dog and he couldn’t get enough of playing with Molly and Nate. Hoping to come back when its warmer to take full advantage of the amenities.

Me and my daughter enjoyed so much to stay there. The trees and birds remind us our country house in Puerto Rico.

Excellent. Beautiful location, awesome view with panoramic sunsets. Very clean, neat, easy access from outside, great shower and kitchen. Great Samsung TV with easy hookup to computer and internet. Pat and Gab were wonderful hosts, making the stay very comfortable. Very easy access to stores, shops and resturants. Pools is huge, looked at least 20 by 40, clean and well maintianed. Apartment is smaller than the pics but no big deal. Living room is large with couches and tables. Great place if you have a pet with lots of room outside and safe for pet to play. Their dog Molly is so sweet and friendly. Over all I give it a 10.. Well worth the price..

Great find in the town we use to live. Hosts were very nice. If not from the area gave u a whole list of things to do. Place was roomy, clean and nicely decorated. Was too warm for hot tub but enjoyed the use of the pool. Quiet with woods around house and beautiful view from pool deck. We would definitely go back.

I’ve booked many VRBOs in the past, this was the worst customer service experience. We booked a 2 night stay at this place for my family (we have two little girls 6 and 2). The owner has a large dog that roams/lives on the property, this was not part of description, I wouldn’t have booked this place since my girls and I are terrified of big dogs. The owner says “you’ll never see us” that’s a lie, as soon as we arrived, they were at the door with their dog trying to talk to us about the property (which was nice, but also it was 8pm at night and we’re trying to unload our car with two kids- read the room). Also they were very insistent in having us meet the large dog, even when we said “no thanks.” They admit the dog likes to jump on people, which is not ok especially for our little girls. My husband tried to get my girls to get comfortable with the dog, since we were going to share spaces, but they wouldn’t have it, they were scared. When we asked if we could keep the dog away from the pool, the answer was basically no and they asked us to leave. The owner told me I should have asked if they had a dog and that I should have known from when they say in their description “Dog-friendly”. Currently fighting to get my money back from VRBO. Place is clean and nice from the couple of hours we spent there. Would NEVER recommend this place to a friend or family.

I love decks, porches, pools, Jacuzzi's and scenery!! That's exactly what I got. It was perfect timing to get some Fall foliage on my stay. The owner's were very nice, easy to get a hold of for any questions or requests. I'd like to experience this property in the summer with the pool open. Pool looks amazinggggg!!! Molly is ADORABLE!! The puppy.

Pat and Gabe are an amazing couple with a gorgeous home. The surrounding area has amazing food and entertainment options. FYI: there is a hiking trail on the property!

A nice relaxing time. Just what we needed and close to home. We are very busy people... we've been needing to just get away to unwind. I knew If we stayed home ... we would NOT relax or slow down. We needed somewhere that wasn't a 8 or 10 hour drive. Pat and Gabes place was a cute cozy little place. Close to everything you could need.... but up the mountain at the end of the road and very private. We felt like we were in our little own mountain retreat. Hot tub, fire pit, charcoal grill... and a prepackaged smores kit (nice treat). (If it was summer.....The pool was lovely!) And, we could bring our fur baby! Did a little hiking & lots of resting out doors by the fire. The apt is clean and very comfortable. We've stay a lot of places on vacation and this place had the nicest mattress... very close to ours at home. We always bring our own orthopedic pillows with us and we slept like babies. Only thing we missed were our ceiling fans. We like air moving when we sleep. (Maybe put a small floor fan in closet for others who are used to them?) Kitchen was nicely stocked..... not like home (I'm a very good cook and we eat in mostly on vacation)... but kitchen nicely set up. Usually I have to bring my own good knives.... but this place has decent knives which is rare! Lol. If we plan to go to CT again, this place is definitely on our list. There was more to see and do close... but we honestly needed a few days away from the grind.... and this fit the bill.

I enjoyed my stay. The location was convenient to the interstate. It was also clean and peaceful, perfect for some time to relax.

We came home to a family emergency and therefore it took me this long to write this review but now that things have somewhat calmed down here it is..... Pat and Gabe were wonderful to work with. We were in Connecticut for a wedding and while there for our yearly anniversary trip. With some updates regarding the wedding we were going to need to arrive earlier than the time stated for check in. Also we had some unexpected expenses which conflicted with our last payment due for our stay. I reached out to Pat who worked very closely with us to allow for a smooth process. She facilitated this for us and made this whole trip very pleasant for my husband and I. Pat and Gabe were very generous and accommodating which was great and made for a pleasant experience. Their house is absolutely beautiful and the pictures definitely do not do It justice. You have to be there to experience it. The unit we stayed in was very cozy and well kept. Unfortunately, we were tight on check out time as I always leave the space as clean as possible and we were not able to write about our stay in their guestbook which was a bummer but possibly an excuse to go back : )

We had such a wonderful weekend at this property! Pat and Gabe were extremely communicative and helpful hosts and we had no issues come up. The backyard is absolutely beautiful - private with a great pool, hot tub in a screened in porch, deck with ample seating and torches, and a stunning view. Perfect place for a weekend getaway!

The property is tucked away at the end of a cul-de-sac that gives you privacy with a gorgeous view from the top of the hill. The pool is situated in the back where you don't see any of the neighbors and has a perfect view to watch the sunset. It's only about 1 1/2 hour away from NYC and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. It's definitely a great place for a weekend getaway.

The area was just beautiful! The accommodations were perfect for three adults. Unfortunately the weather was a little cool for the use of the pool but the fire pit and hot tub are a plus. Great place to just relax!
