We found the house and property to be just what we needed to have terrific family time. We felt at home there and it was so quiet and peaceful. The beds were comfortable and the layout fit our needs.

What a great couple of days at the lake! We were in town for a few days for a family golf weekend. House was very clean with a new front deck and new approach down to the boat house. Plenty of parking (we had 4 cars and two smaller SUVs). Ice-cold AC in all rooms. The house was very close to restaurants, outlet mall, golf courses (Chestatee and Hampton Golf Village), grocery stores, etc. Michael was a gracious host and very available for any questions we had before, during and after our stay. He made our trip very enjoyable and hassle free. We would definitely come back in the future.

Cozy cabin with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. Michael the owner, was so thoughtful and very helpful.

The layout was perfect for three families, one upstairs, one downstairs, and my wife and I on the main floor!

We attended a wedding at Swan Lake Overlook (<15min from the house). Dollar General is also nearby for any forgotten items. This house was the perfect location for us.

Great house to have 9 guys base out of for a weekend of golf, food, and watching football!

We had high hopes for this trip and it was better than we hoped...what a fantastic stay on Lake Lanier, I need more stars for this review. Mike the house/boat owner did a fantastic job of communicating before and during the stay...the best of any rental I have had and it's not even close. The house is beautiful inside and really functional. You will love the screened porch and the large gas grill. We had 9 in our group which the house easily accommodated. If you have boating experience you will want to rent the pontoon. Mike does a great boat orientation and the boat is very nice and a far better value then any rental place on the Lake. Our whole group loved the property and the stay and we all want to return!!!

Our stay at this lake property was amazing. We stayed for 4 nights with 11 people - there was plenty of space for our group. The kids had a great time fishing, paddle boating and catching fireflies! The adults enjoyed evening out on the screened in porch. We took advantage of the pontoon boat available to rent and had two great days tubing on the lake! Mike made sure we were prepared for the lake. There were plenty of towels and beds and the kitchen was pretty well stocked. We had a great time.

Easy check-in/checkout process, and the accommodations were perfect for all 12 of us. Michael was a great host!

My family of 11 and I stayed in this rustic 3 level lake home for my son’s wedding in nearby Dahlonega. The owner was awesome! He responded to each message promptly. Check in was convenient and easy. We received a text each day to make sure we had no needs and that our stay was comfortable. He even came over when my niece accidentally unplugged the internet modem and we had trouble getting it to reset- turned out we just didn’t push the plug into the outlet well enough! The kitchen, living room area, and screened porch was beautiful and spacious as was the lower level game room. The young men in the family enjoyed the fooseball table and the Wi. Ladies enjoyed the kitchen which had everything needed. The only inconvenient thing about the home was the bathrooms. There is only one bathroom on each level of the home. The main level bath is in the bedroom, so it was uncomfortable for guests not occupying that bedroom to use it. The bathroom on the lower level and the upper level were Jack and Jill bathrooms meaning there was a door from each bedroom into the bathroom and the door locks stuck or did not lock at times. I felt there was a lack of privacy and it was inconvenient to not have a “guest” bathroom that anyone could use on the main level. With that said, our family made it work. The carpet on the stairs to lower and upper levels could use some cleaning but was satisfactory. Recommend keeping upper king bedroom lights off as several small flying insects were attracted to the light and somehow got into the room despite glass doors never being opened. Recommend lower level for those who are hot because it was very well air conditioned. Upper level was quite warm, but ceiling fans and portable fans in the home kept it comfortable. The walkway to the dock was very nice. The dock and party deck were nice and well maintained. Sadly our family did not get to spend much time there due to wedding festivities. The neighborhood where the home is located was excellent, quiet and felt safe. Overall, the house was great and met our family’s needs. The host owner was just the best and nicest ever. I would highly recommend this home and would consider staying there again if we return to the area.

This is the third year in a row that our group has rented this home from Mike & Nikki. Great accommodations, super clean, outstanding hospitality and easy access to the lake. Having the ability to rent the pontoon is icing on the cake. Just perfect. We'll be back again next year. If your family or group of friends is looking for a lake getaway, look no further than this property. We highly recommend!

Had a wonderful time with my kids and grand kids. Everyone enjoyed the lake and swimming in the cove. The house suited us well, plenty of room for everyone. Michael was a wonderful host and made everything very easy. A great time was had by all!

We had a great time! We thought the actual property was even better than the pictures! We loved the quiet neighborhood, the screened in porch, great downstairs porch right by the grill and fire pit, being able to use water floats and paddle boat, and close proximity to stores. Fun place for a family of all ages!

Mike was very easy to work with. Answered all my questions, was quick to respond. The house was very clean and well kept. It was perfect for our family. It is in a convenient location, close to shops and stores. The back porch has a beautiful view, perfect for morning coffee. We had a wonderful stay!

The photos don't do this cabin justice. It was really cozy and homey, but felt like a nostalgic getaway for the books. It was literally 12 people of all ages and there was more than enough room that provided a perfect blend of isolation and cohesiveness. Mike (and his wife) were the greatest hosts. Readily available, yet not invasive, and a pleasure to work with. He went over and above my expectations, and still didn't seize to amaze me when he personally met those of our finicky 15 year old son. That really made the trip over the top. My only regret is I wish I would've rented it longer. Location is so ideal that everything you're used to in a metro area is right around the corner but you would have no idea from the cabin. Trust me, if you rent this cabin, you won't be disappointed. It's perfect for a holiday gathering, or a lake front vacation. Perfect.

Fabulous property. We have been here twice this year and we will definitely be back again. The property is everything you could ask for when looking to get away. The hosts have thought of absolutely everything you might need or want. Whether you are alone or have a group have a group 12 this is the perfect place to go.

The owerns was nice and easy to deal with. They were extremely easy to contact. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. The lake was easily accessible. No problems at all.

A group of 9 visited for an obstacle course race at camp Merrill. Property was close to the venue and right on the lake. Beautiful cabin and location. Owner was very easy to work with and communication was excellent. Would highly recommend this rental.

The layout was perfect for our group. Beds were very comfortable and we had enough towels and other supplies. The cookware was plentiful and good quality. The dock on the lake was a very relaxing place to spend time outdoors. We loved the fireplace! The owner communicated everything we needed to know.

This was a great place for a family to get together. We were up visiting our Daughters for UNG parents day. The cabin was clean and well stocked. We had a beautiful weekend and didn’t mind the rain on Sunday because because we had a great porch to just sit and relax to enjoy family. Mike made the process super easy from reserving to check out. Would definitely recommend staying at this cabin.

We weren’t there very much as we were in town for my daughter’s wedding but it was so nice and peaceful. Just a great place for my family to hang and relax at the end of the day. Everyone had their own space and we enjoyed the screened in porch so much.

Everything about this place was top notch! Mike and Nikki went above and beyond to to ensure everything was perfect for our trip, it was our sons birthday and when we got there they had a cake and card waiting for him. The location was quiet and the cove was perfect for my kids to be able to go down and swim and fish off the dock! The house was stocked with everything you could need and the beds, couches everything was so comfortable and just made you feel at home there! This will be my go to for our lake Lanier trips from now on. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! Wonderful experience! Thank you Mike and Nikki
