Such a great house in marana! Love the birds, the location, hosts are amazing, home is well equipped, and I love the rural setting “in town”

A wonderful and calming casita fully surrounded by nature. The hosts Claire and Larry were above and beyond hospitable. We were even provided with oranges and lemons from their trees upon arrival! Easy access to amenities. Would 100% stay there again.

I enjoyed my initial stay so much I extended my stay for as long as I could until the next booking came in. I've never so so at home in a place that wasn't my home before. The views are beautiful and the casa was very spacious and has everything you need. And I do mean anything! Hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome and responded quickly if we need anything.

Check in was easy and hosts were very accommodating. Needed a place for family to stay during sons graduation weekend. Was very peaceful and had enough room for everyone to relax. The property is beautiful and it was host to numerous wildlife which made the early mornings relaxing. Great place to stay!

This is a phenomenal place to have a weekend getaway or a vacation. The tennis court was so much fun and great exercise, even though nobody in our family has played before. The house is sophisticated and modern. The landscaping is lovely, and the view of the Catalinas is stunning. We spent time hiking around the property, watching sunsets on the porch, having lovely meals in the well equipped kitchen, and the host was so nice as to even let us use her amazing kid friendly s-pool! It was an incredible stay and we will return for sure. Thank you so much Claire and Larry!

We really liked this casita. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The owners were great and made sure we were happy. The location was beautiful and private. Lots of wildlife. We saw a javelina passing through while we were sitting on the porch and then he came back through an hour or so later. We will definitely stay there again.

Nice, clean and cozy home with 3 bedrooms. The hosts were responsive and check in and check out was a breeze. We would stay here again!

My wife and I wanted a warm escape from our Minnesota winter near good hiking and this property was perfect for us. The hiking nearby is excellent. We saw mule deer, javalena, and a great variety of birds in the yard. The property is isolated in a great desert locale yet only a mile from a good grocery store. The cassita itself is appointed with everything you need and your hosts are very helpfull. If we decide to stay in the Tucson area again this will be our first choice.

This is a lovely setting with gorgeous views of the desert and the Catalina mountains. Lots of birds, wildlife, and room to roam. The house was perfect for a family.

The house and property were everything we hoped for-- clean, inviting, comfortable. The location was excellent. It was easy to get to from the airport, close to shopping, but still felt like you were away from the crowd. The property was beautiful with a variety of cacti, plants and birds. We loved having a tennis court right out the door, overlooking the beauty of the desert and the mountains. The sunrises and sunsets were gorgeous. Larry and Clare are wonderful hosts, responsive to needs and questions. We would definitely stay here again and surely hope we will sometime.

What a gem and the perfect place for the family to celebrate Thanksgiving. The house had everything we needed to cook Thanksgiving dinner and all our meals and the large table made it easy to social distance, eat, socialize and play board games. We enjoyed breakfast outside where we could take in the exquisite scenery and loved exploring the area on foot and with our bicycles. Claire and Larry were the perfect hosts, helpful, but not intrusive and we would happily stay here again on a return visit to Tucson. You'll love staying in this property as did we.

The crackle of stones As the wheels roll increaseS the expectation. Upon arrival, which was super easy, my father parked in the back and I approached the Casita. There were lots of cactus. I managed to a avoid them. Unlocked the Front door and low and be hold, maGic. The description gives the basics, which are accurate, but the extra are the double bonus. I don’t want to spoil the surprises. Staying for four days, feeding for four people, we did not need anything. Literally, it’s all there. Bring your personal care and sustenance. The rest is basically provided +1. Have fun.

This home is exactly what it looks like in the pictures. It's a little outdated, but very clean, welcoming, and roomy. The hosts were very nice. Warning to anyone driving a low sports car, it's down a long dirt road and over a small rock bridge that might be tough for the car.

The sunrises were absolutely stunning! The home is beautiful. The owners responded quickly to any questions we had and provided hiking options for us. They put together reference books for the area. If I'm back down in the area I would definitely look at staying there again.

Wonderful area in the lush Sonoran desert. Loved playing tennis on the court right next door to the casita. Casita is cute, clean and comfortable with open floor plan and plenty of large windows to enjoy the wildlife.

We were in Tucson for a conference. We arrived late when it was already dark. Claire stayed on the phone with us until we were able to get into the Casitas. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and were able to see some wild life through the large windows. It was a wonderful experience. Would stay again if in the area for another conference. Very lovely owners were great to work with & enjoyable to meet. Made me feel very welcome. Property is very easy to find, close to grocery, restaurants, beautiful vistas and all the Sonoran Dessert has to offer. This Casita is fully equipped with many extras. The owners have thought of everything to make a perfect stay. I would be visiting again if they weren't already booked. Would definitely make a return visit.

WOW!!! The experience at the ranch was more than I had expected. Claire and Larry were very helpful telling me where the best restaurant were, what places to visit and most of all very good hosts. There were lots of different wildlife to see right from the the house. The house was more accommodating, with everything you needed. To get up every morning and see the Catalina mountains was inspiring. Thanks Claire and Larry.

We've been here numerous times and it's always lovely and relaxing. Sitting on the patio is the best part...watching the birds on the feeder with a morning cup of coffee was just about perfect. Claire and Larry are perfect hosts and we always appreciate their helpfulness. Of course, the private tennis court tops it off. Where else is there the opportunity to walk out your door and walk onto the court? Nowhere we've seen, so thank you both! It was great!

We just wrapped up our 2 week stay at the Casita del Sol for a hiking vacation; our second stay here in three years. What a wonderful home away from home! The location is perfect for a variety of activities; the Desert Museum, Sabino Canyon, Mt Lemmon & more are all a short drive away; other sightseeing opportunities & more hiking trails than one could imagine and while the house is in the desert with plenty of wildlife and birdlife to enjoy; grocery stores and other shopping just a short drive. It’s a perfect combination of living close to nature yet having the conveniences that we all appreciate. The house is very large; with plenty of space both inside and on the patio. A great BBQ and as someone who loves to cook while on vacation; the well equipped kitchen is very much appreciated. Comfy beds, great views from every window - and having wonderful hosts like Larry and Claire nearby, who are very responsive yet not intrusive; all contribute to a great Arizona experience!
