We enjoyed our stay in East Alburg cottage. The beds were super comfortable, giving us a restful night. We did not know how to stay on their property as it was so overgrown. When we found out where [behind neighbors mailbox] we still couldn’t enter because husband discovered steps and deck were in such bad shape. Probably from recent storms.The coffee pot was old, wet, & dirty we had to purchase vinegar to clean it before using. Area was clean except for thick dust buildup on exhaust fan in bath. Microwave was used as our breadbox only because plates weren’t microwaveable. I don’t have ocd, but these little things are important to me. This cute little cottage is stocked well and will be a perfect place to stay when these dangerous areas are taken care of.

Nice affordable getaway with plenty of outdoor things to do close by.

Location was nice right on the lake was a a problem with cockroaches they said they would take care of it

My husband and I had a great vacation while staying in Khara and Steve’s cottage. It is immaculate and is equipped with everything you will need for a stress free vacation. The cottage is in a quiet neighborhood just minutes away from the Missisquoi National Wildlife Reserve. Natural beauty is everywhere. Communication with Khara was excellent. We enjoyed ourselves so much that I have already booked our vacation at this cottage for next year.

Beautiful views and the great central location to all the boat ramps on the northern end of the lake make this an ideal fishing retreat. We'll be back.

This property was perfect for our needs. Close to Swanton and easy commute for our business needs. On the lake for evening enjoyment! This is a quaint little cabin whose age just gives it more charm. Checks all the boxes!

This cabin was such a pleasant surprise! Super clean, appointed nicely and perfect to come back to after each day of exploring! It is an older cabin so things were dated, but that just added to the charm. It had everything needed for a comfortable stay, in a very quiet neighborhood. We had so much fun in the area. We came to fish, but the water levels and crazy weather patterns didn't make it easy. We did fish Sandy point - literally a stone's throw across the bridge . We visited Hog Island Market, Alburg Dune's State Park (beautiful), ParkHero's Welcome General store and took a drive into Montreal for a day. There is a train trestle out front and we got to see a couple trains, which was very cool. We didn't use the dock or deck by the lake because of the weather, but we did enjoy sitting on the covered front porch looking out at the lake. Khara was really nice and did everything she could to make us feel welcome. I would definitely stay again!

Very quaint cottage, nice neighborhood area, very quiet. Loved the kitchen reminded me of being in my grandparents kitchen as a kid in Connecticut back in the 80s, loved it. The seating was challenging in the living room, but for 2 people all good. Dock down at lake, needs some attention. Over all loved the place.

We was 2 minutes from the boat ramp. Location was perfect, cabin was clean and perfect for our group. We will stay here again! Thank you Khara and Steve for being a great hosts 😊.

The place is as stated, Had a small issue, however the owners responded very quickly, and took very good care of us. Enjoyed our stay.

Cottage was nice with great amenities. Biggest downfall was not having a full size couch which made for very cramped seating. Very disappointed in the condition of the dock and the lack of a clean swimming area. Had to go to Alburgh Dunes multiple times to swim which was beautiful. Host was pleasant and accommodating.

Quiet neighborhood, easy access to highways,.

The house was perfect for my needs and was just as described by the hosts. It was very clean and had a lot of nice personal touches, including everything one would need in the kitchen and helpful brochures for the Champlain Islands as well as Burlington and Montreal. Khara was very helpful and responsive. It didn't hurt that the weather was beautiful. Highly recommended!

A very nice comfortable and clean place with a great property owner who was in constant contact with us to make sure our stay was Pleasant and memorable. We hope to stay there again next year if there is an opening

Once again this year a great stay Kara is an incredible host they went out of their way even in flood stage waterd to get a dock in have always been extremely helpful and it's a great spot Can't wait to come back next year

The property is in a quiet neighborhood with a view of the lake and has a dock for water activities. There is also a boat launch just across the bridge for any renter looking to bring a boat along for the trip. I would recommend this property to any renter who is looking to enjoy a quite getaway. Property was amazing and the fishing is great too!

Had a wonderful time staying at the cottage. Very clean, spacious and nicely tucked away. I really appreciated the keypad contactless entry! Bathroom had soap dispensers in showers like at modern hotels so that was a nice touch as well. Would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay and the views were beautiful! Location was great for us and an easy drive from Plattsburgh airport. The hosts were great to communicate with and gave us lots of suggestions for entertainment during our stay. We can't wait to come back and check out the area in the summer or fall.

We loved our stay! The house was perfect! We loved the porch and the dock that came with it! The washer and dryer came in soon handy! Our host Kara was great and responded quickly when we couldn’t figure out TV! We loved the area and our stay 😊

We kept loosing water pressure. We would have to turn water off for a few minutes then turn it on again. There isn't much to do in the evening so better tv and more comfortable furniture so you don't feel like you're in the dr. Office. I went to make coffee. There was moldy coffee grounds in pot. The laundry room has horrible mold smell. I have weak lungs so stayed out of that room completely

I can't express how happy we were with this property . It was peaceful and quiet and a great place to escape to enjoy nature. We rented kayaks , did a bit of fishing , went to a farmers market and just RELAXED.... the cottage was everything we could have asked for and more ! Overall good.However my wife was not pleased with the cleanliness of the food pantry/shelves, porch window sills or laundry room floor. She thought the cleaning service was lacking. She appreciated the shower and bathroom being very clean. I enjoyed the fishing and location.
