Location, proximity to the beach and number of bedrooms and bathrooms were convenient. We never ran out of hot water. The townhouse itself was not very clean, had many critters-more than one would expect even considering the location. They did have a cleaner come out right away to address our dissatisfaction but it just didn’t help much. The garage door entrance was too low to get our SUV inside. The listing eludes that it is the length of the parking that is the issue but it is actually the height of the opening. Almost every surface inside needed updated, replaced or refreshed. This was our first stay inside Wild Dunes and we did enjoy the amenities it offered. We love Isle of Palms and Charleston so very much.

This was the perfect house for us to gather with family and friends. The location is unbeatable and perfect for families with small children. The customer service from East Island Rentals was amazing! Highly recommend a stay here. Just beware that parking is tight and the garage won't fit any large trucks or SUVs.

Beautiful beachfront location. We wish the bushes would be trimmed so you could see the water from the lower floors. This is a nice house but the carpet needs to be replaced! And the pillows are very flat in every room, need new pillows. Also, would be nice if foil and zip lock bags were provided. Other tha these things, great stay and would recommend!!

Lovely getaway
Perfect house for an (almost) weeklong stay over New Years. Celebrated my wife’s milestone birthday with our 5 adult children and one fiancée. So 8 adults (2 couples and 4 singles). Sleeping arrangements were great for that size party. House was in good shape. FYI - TV package was limited. Had to buy a Roku to get ESPN, so if that’s important to you, plan ahead. Whole family loves Isle of Palms and this is a terrific location in Wild Dunes.

Overall a good experience with a few blips. The property was very nice and the kitchen was equipped much better than most houses. The house was spotless and the beds comfortable. The parking was terrible and the security, Ken, was extremely rude to us on two separate occasions. If I were a homeowner I would prefer that my guests be treated with southern hospitality, not hostility. We weren’t given a key to the elevator until the day after checkin, that was a downer for woman with children.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this wonderful property. It was clean and well kept. Grand Pavilion on Wild Dunes is a very nice and active area with a lot of activity for children right on the property. There are beautiful outdoor views overlooking the ocean and the property is right next to beach access.

Right in the thick of things
Home is lovely. Layout of rooms is nice for young people. There is an elevator if you need it. Parking is a little tough if you have multiple vehicles coming and going or have large SUV. Access to all entities is a plus with young adults.

While the house was in much better condition for our earlier visits it’s location on the beach and it’s accommodations are about perfect for our group of 6 adults and two children. Great Stay
This was a great place to stay. The house was just as expected. The location was perfect and the beach was beautiful. Being close to Charleston was great, we ventured into the city a couple times. The beach was not crowded and very relaxing. Overall a very positive experience.

Great House Equals Great Vacation Experience
This four bedroom/four bathroom house with elevator provided the facilities we desired. The location (on the ocean near the tennis center) and the ambiance inside the house were just terrific. From morning coffee on the balcony to dinner and Trivial Pursuit in the dining room, this was a first rate experience.

Great location with a shared yard and easy access to beach. House is very “beachy” with a terrific set up for families with kids and grandkids. Plenty of room to accommodate 4 couples or a large extended family. Lots of indoor and outdoor living space. In “normal” times, access to amenities would probably be easy. Many restrictions were in play during our 4 week stay.

The view was disappointing as the trees have grown to such a height that it basically blocks the view on the main living level. Isle of Palms in general did not offer the restaurants we were looking for or shopping. Went into Charleston for restaurants and shopping. If all you want is beach than this is the place and house for you.
