I realized I was paying a higher price because of the time of year, for sure, however, the price I paid was definitely way too much for what we got. The wear and tear on all the furniture and carpets could be updated, then it would have been worth the price. My family did, however have an awesome time. We never had to leave anywhere for the kids to enjoy the snow, it was right there outside our kitchen door and the hills were perfect.. I will say though, I stressed about the whole noise control issue. I get quiet time is after 10pm but when you have a place that large and a big “loud Puerto Rican” family i was pretty stressed trying to keep our fun game times quiet.. other then the little minor quirks and the extreme hike in price per night, my family had a wonderful time.

Our family has rented numerous large houses in Tahoe. We call this one "the loud house" - sounds echoed from everywhere. The carpets are old and filthy; many blinds are bent, broken or have had pieces cut out; dining room chairs are stained and disgusting; the sofa bed was broken and unusable. Two tv's, including the one in the master suite, do not get cable and remotes were missing. Although the property says no smoking, there were cigar and cigarette butts on the decks outside when we checked in. From a safety perspective, a couple of electrical outlets had missing cover plates and one of the smoke detectors was disconnected - scary. Overall, the property is disappointing and not worth the cost.

Awesome stay at the property for the weekend. Pictures are what you expect of the place as well. Some of the furniture is worn down, but it’s still a great house, and easily accommodated 16 of us.

We found it to be roomy and met our family's needs in terms of size, location and amenities. However, we had one problem in that one of the beds had not been properly cleaned in that someone from a previous stay had peed in the bed and the mattress had to be replaced. The property managers handled this but the cleaners should have caught this before we checked in.

Had a great time here, checkin was a breeze. Location is fantastic and the house is comfortable and spacious!

We loved the space this house provided for our family and the location was nice but the house needs some updates. Carpet was gross and old and some of the beds were broken and very uncomfortable. The driveway pavement was half broken up with large deep holes and made it VERY tricky to park 4 cars there! The BBQ grill was old and needs to be replaced. This property would be a much more comfortable stay and more worth the cost if the owner would do some simple updating. Otherwise we had a great time and enjoyed all the things we love about Tahoe! And having a space large enough to fit our large family was nice!

We enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room. Comfortable. Bring extra towels.

Good house but it needs some fixes

This place is hard to rate because it was great for us. We did not need to worry about our grandkids or dogs making a mess because the furniture is well-worn, the walls have a number of bumps and bruises and the carpets have many stains. However, the place has a lot of room for people to spread out and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. The Kitchen supplies, linens and towels were clean and adequate for our needs. We would stay again with our family, but would not book this for a luxury getaway.

This is a Great home for large families or groups. Enough space for everyone in my Family. This is a 3 story home with great views of the forest. Very quite and serene to enjoy. Owner was quick to respond with messages. We had experience of seeing a black bear walking in the front street from a distance. Scary but exciting at same time. First visit to Lake Tahoe and it was a great week in this very comfortable home. This home made us feel very comfortable and at home. Thank you Steve for sharing your home with us. We had a very pleasant week. I recommend this home if your looking for comfort with children. Our age group had 4 teenagers, 6 adults and 6 kids ages 4yrs to 10yrs old. They loved the home. Thanks again Steve for our pleasant stay!

This was a nice and roomy place to celebrate my birthday to get away. Property manager was very easy to work with and provided great customer service. I would recommend this place to larger groups that are looking to get away in a secluded area for rest and relaxation.

Initially when I arrived and saw the condition of the house I thought that the house was just heavily used but it didn't take long to realize the house has been thoroughly abused and seriously neglected. This house needs a complete renovation from the carpet to the walls and floors to the kitchen. The only thing that seemed to work well was the plumbing thankfully. My suggestion to VRBO is to go and look at theses houses and have a standard in place that says a house must meet that standard before it can be listed on your website. 1. door handle came off in our hand 2. carpets were disgusting 3. flooring was beat up bad, broken trim loose boards... 4. HVAC filter not changed since November 2019 and it was so plugged the HVAC kept shutting off 5. Walls filthy 6. Banisters filthy and in need of paint 7. 4 of the TVs had no HDMI cable from cable box to TV making TV nothing more then wall art 8. BBQ drip pan so full drippings overflowed onto deck 9. Driveway was horrible and there is no way to really park 2 cars in the garage unless there mini coopers or smart cars. 10. Couch was broken 11. Dishwasher to left of sink not secured to cabinet pulled right out from under the counter 12. Coffee maker leaked right through bottom all over counter and floor 13. At least 2 drawers in kitchen were broken and others would not close correctly 14. Was told stove just broke I call BS that stove looked like it was broken for months. 15. Blinds trashed throughout the house. 16. Windows didn't open correctly in bedroom bathroom downstairs

Great Location!! My family and I were so Happy with are Accommodations that we didn’t leave Togo to a Snow Park. The Rental had everything and we enjoyed the Snow at the Property privately. It was Awesome!

This house was amazing!! It’s super huge!! Me and my family enjoyed this beautiful and perfect house!! We saw a friendly bear in the yard which was super exciting. The owners are very kind and super helpful!!! Best Communication ever!! Definitely will book this house again!! ❤️❤️

I just checked out from this property today the kitchen was ran sack by bear because probably left the door unlock which leave the bear just freely went in and ran through the whole house because there was negligence of locking the door. It’s good that the bear was not inside when we came in because the kids was the first one went in the house being excited and was 5e first that found out on the kitchen. When I need to contact management the number that is on the add can leave only a message and took awhile to answer me back and it was through text all communication was through text no phone number wherein you can talk to a person message for emergency going back and forth text message was so frustrating. Most of the sheets does not smell fresh so we have to quickly run in the laundry so we can use it but course we can’t unload all our stuff for the kitchen because it needs cleaning it was a disaster and the kitchen smell like gas we waited until about 7pm for it to be completely clean while waiting we found out no network or WiFi working when I text the management they let me go through trouble shooting which it didn’t work sent a technician the following day which I have to follow up if someone is coming...they sent the person was not able to fix it. We were not able to use WiFi or watch games on TV coz both were not working. Things should have been fixed before their guest arrive management should have checklist making sure everything is working coz guest is paying for what is advertised. Cleaning fee is being charged on guest and yet the linen does not smell fresh. Truly false advertisement fireplace was not working and to add this up some of the railing is lose a couple fell and one of them hit the head of a child this is bi time safety issue. And every time I send a text all the inconvenience we are experiencing she only responds her apology and send me an email add so I can send an email of all the complaint. There is a clear disconnect whoever is the owner and property management. I think whatever charge for the place is grossly over charge not to be able to use the amenities advertised. How I wish I can download photos here so customers will see and proved what I’m talking about. Hopefully writing this review will get the owner involved not the property management. Don’t get me wrong the house is spacious for a big group but inconveniences that I experienced outweighs and I WOULD NEVER BOOK ON THIS PROPERTY EVER AGAIN!!!

We were a complete group of 20 ppl, this home was great for our big family. We all had a great time using the pool table and enjoying the jacuzzi. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. We did take paper plates and cups (just in case). Toilet paper was great and I loved how there was a shampoo dispenser in the showers to use, since it meant less waste of plastic. There is a balcony almost in every room which was cool. Only thing that needs to be changed are the knobs on the bedroom doors.. there are no locks. There was also an inflatable bed that works good. We did end up bringing our own towels but did see each bathroom had at least 2 bath towels with hand towels. This home was more than great for the weekend. Just be alert, we did end up having a bear encounter from afar. Was cool to watch, but scary to see a bear trying to open the car door with its mouth (this was around 9am).

It was exactly what we needed great spot to take a large family vacation.

This property is in a convenient location and was spacious to fit our large family, however, we will not be returning to this vacation home for various reasons listed below. 1) The interior was EXTREMELY filthy! The furniture was not dusted, floors and windows were dirty, and we found an abundant amount of mice droppings in the living room upon check in. The carpet was run down and absolutely gross. We expected an increased level of cleanliness, especially due to the pandemic. 2) The master bedroom mattress was broken and had an uncomfortable slope to it. There was also water damage on the ceiling. 3) A den was counted as a bedroom that contained a broken pull out sofa bed, therefore, it was not useable by our guests. 4) For a property that sleeps 20, we were only provided with 8 towels. Completely insufficient 5) Most windows and doors had missing screens, not allowing us to open up the house for fresh air without allowing bugs to come in. 6) The driveway is poorly paved and makes parking difficult, especially if you have elderly guests and worry about falls. Overall, this property was highly disappointing and did not appeal to be luxurious as advertised. I sincerely hope this reviews helps the owner and property manager to make improvements and increase the level of service provided.

Overall it was fantastic. The parking situation was stressful though, wish it could accommodate more vehicles.

This house was great for our week long visit to Tahoe. This is a very large house that fit our large family (we had a party of 16 on this trip). There was plenty of room for everyone and no one ever felt crowded. The house was also clean and in good condition. The home provided plenty of towels and the kitchen had plenty of dishes, glassware, and silverware. Management is very attentive to you and responds quickly to your emails and texts. Great home overall and we would definitely stay there again.

It was just what I expected clean house enough space for my family first time visiting Lake Tahoe and I will visit a lot more. Loved the property I will definitely rent it again!

The house itself is quite roomy and we actually really enjoyed the giant open main living space. The kitchen was well stocked a second fridge in the closet was so clutch! We cooked, danced, we played games, cozied up on the couches, it was a lovely time. Getting 20 adults sharing a space was super fun, the major hiccup was the broken dishwashers (yes their were 2 and both were not working). Let's hope this is already fixed... We were able to park 4 cars in the driveway. The garage can only hold 1 large vehicle and one very small vehicle. Overall, I would rent this house again if I knew that the things that were broken we're fixed. Happy vacationing!

So many rooms. We like the design of this house . We really enjoyed and had a great time.

More than ample space for our group of 15 guys. Very quiet and peaceful location and about 15 minutes from town.

Great place for a big family. Plenty of spaces to relax and unwind. Would have been nice to have a few more towels, mainly for the hot tub.

The house was really nice and was big enough for our whole family, very spacious. Kitchen was amazing and loved that there were two dishwashers. But the house could have been cleaner, the carpet was gross, and it looked like they hadn’t dusted in a while. There were hand prints on most of the windows and doors. Other than cleanliness, the house was great.

The whole family had a great time.
