Very clean, cool spacious place with a great location.

We had a great stay at The Place. The back porch is charming and we loved that we could step right out the front door to the street front. Great restaurants were just a few feet from the doorstep. We recommend TJ’s Pub.

This is our 3rd summer staying at The Place in Manistee. Such a great time. Close to everything and we lucked out on weather and got 3 beach days that week.

A bucket list fishing trip. This VRBO is perfect for staying close in Manistee, the stores, the riverfront, all of it. We had a great experience and recommend this place to stay.

My mom, sisters and I always take a weekend trip for Mother’s Day weekend. The Place was perfect. The accommodations were awesome and being right in town was fun. We were able to walk everywhere and really enjoyed our stay. We like to cook and we’re super impressed with how stocked the kitchen was with essentials for cooking. We’ve been many places that have only one pot or pan. We had everything we needed to cook dinner each night and breakfast each morning. Everything was super clean and beds were comfy! Communication with the host was very prompt and easy! We would all recommend this location to anyone who was looking to stay in Manistee for the weekend (or longer!). Thank you again for a great location!

The condo was perfect for 4 guys doing a golf weekend. Location was perfect for all the local golf courses. Being in downtown Manistee was also a plus. Great pubs and restaurants. The condo was clean and spacious. Will definitely be back.

This spacious apartment was the perfect location, close to shopping and the beaches. It had just about everything we needed. The toilet paper supply was very limited and there were only 2 bathroom hand towels. The host was very accommodating and responded to our communications quickly.

Great downtown loft big enough for a busy family of 5. Close to beaches and outdoor activities and front door opens to downtowns many shops and restaurants.

We loved the location near shops, restaurants, and the riverwalk. The apartment was super clean and the back patio was a great place to hang out. We had private parking in the back that was really convenient. The beach was just a short drive away and it was beautiful!

I stayed here with my husband and 3 children ages 4-9 yrs old. It was a fantastic property and location. The three bedrooms and 2 FULL baths fit all our needs. The old Victorian style and original wood flooring makes this place so special and unique. The front door opens directly to the shops and restaurants on River St. The back door opens to a massive deck that is quiet and private. The Riverwalk is across the street and we were able to see a massive freighter come through the channel one evening and both drawbridges go up- it made my 4 yr old son’s whole vacation. Lake Michigan was a mile down the road which we drove to because of the younger kids and all our equipment but easily walkable if so desired. It’s a quiet and relaxing town with gorgeous beaches and sunsets and without the prices and crowds of the larger cities like Ludington or Traverse City. We traveled an hour south one day to ride buggies on the sand dunes at Silver Lake. You can find as much or as little activity as you want here. We actually added an extra day to our trip because we loved it so much. The property manager was fantastic and accommodated us every step of the way. We will definitely be back.

The Place was a great location to visit Manistee. Right at the shops and restaurants downtown and just a few minutes from the beach.

Spacious to fit a family. Has everything you'd need. Great location in downtown Manistee. Walking distance to ice cream and the local shops and a small drive to the beach.

overall was a great experience and would definitely book a stay again. the only down fall, was no cable, but was no big deal for me.

We thought we locked ourselves out, the property owner was very accommodating in getting us back the the rental. We enjoyed the Friday night homecoming parade down river street. We will be back.
