Our stay was perfect, even though the weather wasn’t. The condo was spacious, extremely clean, and had everything my family and I needed. The host even made sure everything with check in was smooth and was able to give us a heads up on a special fireworks show upon arrival, which my kids throughly enjoyed. Would recommend over and over again!

Our second stay here was just a good as our first. The close location to the ski lift and village makes this place very convenient. Craig is an awesome host, responding to questions within minutes. Couldn't be happier with this place, plan to return again.

The property was wonderful, and you really can’t beat the location. Perfect ski in, ski out and within a very very short walk to the village. We had excellent communication with the owner who was more than happy to answer any questions. We had a great long weekend!

It is impossible to overstate how happy we were with our stay at Slopeside on Smugglers Notch. For context, we are a family of five (kids are between 11 and 16) and this was our first time at Smuggs. The condo itself is one of the best situated on the property. True ski on/off, as the Village Lift is a stone's throw from the rear deck. For those new to Smuggs, the Village Lift services Morse Mountain, from which Madonna and Sterling are accessible from the Midway trail. We skied, hopped back in to the condo for lunch, and skied some more each day. Perfect. In addition, the owners were wonderful in terms of providing information and being accessible if necessary. The condo is stocked with anything you may need in the kitchen, and the living areas are very comfortable for relaxing at night by the fire. 2 bedrooms/bathrooms easily worked for our family, as the 2nd bedroom has three twin beds. For the nights we ate out, Hearth and Candle was a favorite (1 minute walk to the Village), as was Village Tavern which is a 10 minute drive. Loved the mountain itself. We typically find ourselves in southern VT, so this was a new experience. Tons of terrain for any ability, phenomenal views, and no crowds on the trails even during a holiday week. We often found we had trails to ourselves - a testament to the strategy of avoiding having high speed/occupancy lifts. Lift lines moved right along. My kids found a new favorite ski mountain. All in, a great experience and we give this property our absolute highest recommendation.

This is our 5th consecutive year renting at Smuggler's Notch. Craig's unit was by far, the best location! Upon arrival, we went straight to the unit. It was very well kept and clean and had everything we needed for our stay. I especially enjoyed the kitchen (which was stocked with great quality cookware and had everything I needed) and my husband loved relaxing in the recliner by the fire. Thank you for sharing your home with us for a great family vacation.

This is the second time we have stayed at Craig and Debbie's well-kept and cozy slopeside home. The location can't be beat. You can ski from the condo parking lot to the Village chairlift (which you can take to get anywhere at Smuggs) in less than a minute. On Thursday nights, the condo has a great view of the weekly fireworks. So convenient to just step out to the back deck to watch (instead of bundling up everyone to go outside to find a spot to view them). The condo had everything we needed, and offers space for both family time and alone time. Craig (the owner) was super-responsive to a simple question that we had and very willing to help. Highly recommend!

Wow! This condo is truly a ski in ski out property in the perfect location. We stayed with our two children (12 and 8). It worked great for our family and we had the best time! The check in process was so easy and the condo is equipped with everything you need. We were fortunate to get a lot of snow, which made for some amazing days on the slopes! We will definitely be back to Slpoeside 38❄️🎿

My family of five (5yo, 7yo, 11yo, mom and dad) stayed at this great condo on Slopeside at Smugglers' Notch. If you don't already know Smugglers is one of the most family friendly ski resorts in the country. The location of this condo is perfect for ski on/ski off right at the base of the Village Lift on Morse Mountain. You can easily take trails to the other two mountains (Madonna and Sterling) from this lift. The condo was comfortable for the five of us (the kids were excited to all sleep in their big room together) and we spent many nights in the main family room watching tv, eating meals and playing games. The ski lockers are convenient. The property is clean and well stocked with all of the essential kitchen necessities. Communication with the owner was easy and prompt. If you are looking for a great place to stay with the ease of ski on/ski off at a wonderful family ski resort, this is the property for you.

My daughters and I were looking for a ski-in/ski-out property for a long weekend, and had an excellent time at Craig’s Slopeside condo. We were a bit nervous, as this was our first trip away from home post-pandemic, and were absolutely reassured by his place. It was clean, comfortable, well-stocked, and acted as a wonderful home base for our ski days. We look forward to returning next winter!

We were looking for a safe way to take a vacation and enjoy some skiing during the pandemic. Slopeside 38 was the perfect place to do that. Being able to ski in and out just steps from our door made it so that we could return for lunch and avoid the lodge and shuttles. The house was comfortable, well-kept and had everything we needed for our stay. The owner took extra precautions that made us feel safe with enhanced cleaning and blocking off days between guests. There are several great restaurants offering takeout at the resort and surrounding area. Overall, a great experience!

Fantastic location! 1 min walk to the slope from the condo steps, and a short walk to the village and other Smuggs amenities. The condo is in excellent condition with new, comfortable furnishings and clean carpeting. The photos don’t do it justice. The bedrooms are generously sized, and it’s the perfect layout for a 4-5 person family. The unit is just a few steps up from the building entrance, and there’s a ski locker room shared with one other unit (with a separate locker/lock). Pro tip: the condo has TONS of cookware, but if you’re staying for a week and plan on cooking, bring your own Tupperware, spices, etc. The local market has everything you might need in small sizes too. The owner, Craig, was very accessible and informative before and during our stay. We’d definitely stay again when visiting Smuggs.

My family had a wonderful stay at Craig's condo. Spacious, clean, with a well equipped kitchen and STEPS from the chairlift + ski school drop-off. Super responsive communication with the owner and it's part of the resort (shops, restaurants, guest services) so you get the best of both worlds. Hope to be back next year.
