Great location for paddling, boating/fishing, proximity to town and pier! Lots of wildlife to see including baby ducks, deer, and a mink!
The pool is a great addition.
The house/carriage house are well laid out to accommodate large groups with spacious bedrooms.

We had a wonderful time at this property! We had 6 adults and 5 kids and it never felt crowded. Property was clean and provided bath towels, beach towels and sheets. Great location, close to town and restaurants. The property is on a very quiet road so felt very safe with the kids and dog running around. Thank you for a great week!

This property is in excellent condition, extremely well equipped and conviently located. The property manager is close by, very hands-on, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

The house and the grounds were pristine! Furnishings and appliances were all very well kept. I appreciate how clean the home was and the sheer beauty of the place and its surroundings. The owners were great in communicating and answering any questions . We would love to stay again in the future!

We were in the area to celebrate my sons wedding at a local venue. This property was a welcome respite from the rest of the wedding party for me, my husband, my parents and the rest of my children ages 14-24. The property is beautiful! While we had little downtime and weren’t able to take full advantage of the amenities, it was wonderful that the furniture, kitchen, bedding and towels were high quality so that we could rest and recharge!

This place was so great. Expensive, but you get what you pay for. So clean and new. Had everything you might want, and it's high quality. So many bathrooms! The wifi really held up to heavy use from probably 15-20 devices (some of us had to work). (We did have a router issue for a minute, but Alan came to the rescue in record time.) Wifi is not as good in the adorable carriage house, but the cell signal is good.
One of the kayaks isn't in great shape, so if you have your own, I would still bring those. But the dock, yard, and lawn furniture are awesome. Kitchen is well stocked with plates, utensils, pans. There are millions of towels. Canandaigua is 3 minutes away with tons of restaurants and things to do, or you can just sit on that deck or in the sunroom and catch the breezes off the water. Very quiet neighborhood, we saw lots of deer, our little dog loved it there. We had a great time - would definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was in a private location. We had direct access to the lake and beautiful views of the lake. The kayaks were used daily on the lake. The accommodations were very nice. Spacious, lovely bedrooms, comfortable beds, and clean bathrooms with new showers. The kitchen was very nice and well equipped. The family room and dining room/enclosed patio were great places to gather as family. There was a large table that accommadated our whole group for meals. We enjoyed gathering in the living room on the large sectional for games and puzzles and television. We would definitely consider renting this property in the future.

This was our fourth trip to the finger lakes region and second to Canandaigua. The property was perfect and as described in the VRBO listing. Our family vacation included our 3 adult children and their wives. Provided ample room for everyone to both have their own space and to be together. We launched kayaks from the lakefront backyard, played yard games, enjoyed meals inside and outside as a family. The property was comfortable, convenient to the city for shopping and restaurants, and lakefront property was both aesthetically beautiful but also provided easy access for boating and water access. We highly recommend the property!

I can't say enough good things about this property. There were 8 of us - 4 couples. We all had plenty of private space and the gathering spaces in the house were perfect. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed for cooking. Loved having two refrigerators! We enjoyed the fire pit in the back yard and the views were beautiful. We saw lots of wildlife even though we were super close to restaurants and shopping. The property manager is very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Our group had such a great stay! Beautiful property right on the lake with all the amenities we needed! Tons of space for our group of 8. Would highly recommend and it will be at the very top of our list for our next trip to the area!

We have rented many lakehouses over the past few years. This one was exceptional! The location was perfecr, so close to town with amazing views! The house is on flat piece of property which makes the lake easily accessible. Every detail was well thought out. There was plenty of seating for everyone, the bathrooms and bedrooms were all very fresh and nice. The beds were very comfortable, and there was ample space for everyone to be comfortable. The kitchen was so well stocked, and the bathrooms even had shower products. This really was a perfect weekend getaway. Maybe next time we will rent in the summer and bring our boat!!

The home has a wide expanse of lakefront and we loved the views from several bedrooms as well as the open, spacious kitchen/living area. The cool evenings were perfect for using the spa and firepit. The house was well equipped, providing everything we needed.

This home and location were outstanding. Very easy living for a family of 11 with 2 dogs! Just walked outside the house and all the splendor of the land was right there. Host was very accessible and provided great information on places to eat, boat rentals and activities.
Would highly recommend this spot!

Finally, the first time we were able to have our 3 sons, their wives and 4 grandchildren together in the same place since the start of Covid. We had a wonderful week at Alan's lakefront property. Everything we needed and close to shopping and restaurants.

Our week at the Lupton property was wonderful. This home was just what a large family needed. Our grandchildren had a great time in the lake and the rest of us relaxed while watching them. The property was in excellent condition. We didn't lack for anything.

Absolutely Wonderful!
The home is spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable, and the spa was relaxing. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. We all enjoyed using the kayaks. It was a short distance to downtown, Wegmans and urgent care which, thankfully, no one needed. Mr. Lupton was very responsive to our questions. We would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking to rent on Canandaigua Lake.

Fun Forth
This house was perfectly located at the end of the lake, close to town and the grocery store. The little cove that it was situated in offered a calm tranquil lake experience. There was a bit of seaweed to contend with but that is common for that area of the lake. The house was well stocked and allowed plenty of space for all.

Convenient laundry and second refrigerator. We had many family meals on the sunporch which has beautiful views and breezes! AC and ceiling fans in every bedroom. AC also in the main part of the house if needed. Lovely level treed lot with easy water access. We are already planning to return next year!

Peacefulness on the lake!
We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. The beds were comfortable, the towels soft and fluffy, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware. The recently remodeled “barn” is adorable. The view here is absolutely breathtaking! You will love taking in the sunset with a glass of wine in hand, or watching the sun come up with a cup of coffee. The patio and fire pit offer great space to share a meal. This home is close to local restaurants, wineries and the grocery store. It’s on a private lane so you feel tucked away yet near anything you may need. We definitely plan to return. The property manager was a great communicator and provided all the info we needed to have a great stay.

The property was beautiful - lots to do, we went kayaking, used the fire pit and grill. While it wasn't far from town, it felt somewhat secluded with woods next to it. Walked to town several times (one of the roads that you need to walk on to get to town is fairly busy and has sidewalk only part of it- so may not be good for little ones)
Alan was very responsive to inquiries. I would highly recommend it.

As a con (for us), the beds were very firm and the showers were stalls as opposed to tubs (since we have little kiddos to bathe that would have been nice). Overall, a beautiful and lovely home.

We had a wonderful stay at this amazing property. This was our second time staying here. The renovations that were done are beautiful and make the house the perfect place for a family gathering. The location is also perfect - Right on the water and close to shopping and other amenities. It was so nice to have a hot tub overlooking the lake and the new carriage house is adorable - just perfect for a small family. In addition, the owner supplied the house with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. My dogs particularly liked barking at the deer and the ducks! This is definitely my go-to place!!!!
