This was a wonerful family getaway. The property was just as expected with no surprises. The house was well appointed, very clean and the veiw was out of this world! My 6 year old grandson (and the whole family) enjoyed the pool. This was just what we needed for a family vacation filled with rest and relaxation! We will absolutely be back!

My family and I had an excellent stay. The pool was a wonderful treat for my grandson and we loved the view. We highly recommend the rental. There was plenty of space for the 5 of us to spread out and enjoy. As someone who loves to cook, the stove was amazing! Note - the primary bedroom does not have a formal shower (clawfoot tub with handheld shower). There are two formal showers (one in the second upstairs bathroom and one in the bathroom on the first floor).

Between the view and the pool, there is little reason to leave this house during your stay. The perfect balance of country serene and modern touches. Highly recommend!

Had an enjoyable weekend stay with my family! Perfect weather for pool and exploring nearby towns. House was super clean and bedrooms were very comfortable. View from yard/deck and back windows was spectacular, and being up high allowed for amazing star viewing at night.

My daughter and I had a terrific weekend. The weather was a little rough but the house was a magical, warm, cozy oasis. The view was gorgeous even when weather was bad, and breathtaking when the weather turned good. The house is spacious, open, large, clean, and delightfully colorful. The beds were comfy and the view from the bedrooms is glorious. The bathrooms and (large!) kitchen are clean and modern. The proximity to downtown Woodstock is 5-7 minutes. It was really a perfect getaway. We want to come back in the summer to enjoy the pool and deck and greenery!

The views at this property are spectacular and visible from almost every room in the house. The house is a short and easy drive to downtown Woodstock and also nearby to some great hikes. The house is updated and clean, which made our stay very comfortable.

We stayed over Easter weekend and it was perfect for our needs.

We absolutely loved this house! It was perfect for 3 couples. We only cooked breakfast but the kitchen was spacious with nice appliances. Living room couch was plenty big for 6 adults. One shower is located off of the living room (one shower and one tub on the second floor). We even lucked out with some warm weather and could enjoy the gorgeous views! Can't wait to come back in the summer and enjoy the pool!

The location of the house is stunning. The inside is somewhat bleak, with only two chairs by the main fire. We brought chairs from the deck so all of us could sit by the fire. It was really cold outside and so we all wished to sit by the fire was vital. The main sitting area is focussed on the TV, and not on the stunning view outside, so not a pleasant area to sit and chat.
The kitchen has the equipment as stated, but the oven was filthy and many of the pots and pans also were dirty. The plates and mugs are of low quality.
The bed linen was crumpled and not ironed., though it did seem to have been laundered.

The view is better than the photos!! The fireplace makes the house even more cozy. The location is close to town for food and shops.

The house was lovely and the view magnificent. We enjoyed hiking and exploring with our dogs. The Red Onion was the best. Dogs loved the yard and our hike up Lookout Mountain Trail and the Asharokan Railroad Trail. Would recommend the house to anyone looking to spend time in the Woodstock area. Restaurants, shopping and hiking all near by.

Perfect getaway!
The perfect amount of upscale comfort with a five star view! Everything we needed for a friends trip with three couples and our dog. Quiet location, beautiful pool, cute town right up the street, large deck, sectional sofa, well equipped kitchen and fenced in yard! Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Holiday for the body and soul!
I rent a place up here a few times a year, but we’ve never experienced a home like this! We were awestruck by the spectacular property with incredible views. The place was also clean and well-equipped. Perfect for everyone, including our pooch!

Amazing property, breathtaking view, great yard!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this incredible property. There are no words to accurately describe how amazing the views were outside and from all rooms in the pristine house. We had our dog with us who loved exploring the large well fenced-in yard. Very private but also convenient to markets and even had several restaurants with delivery options. Surrounding towns are so charming but why leave the house! Thank you for the great hospitality and for helping us create special memories. We would love to come back.

Beautiful and Relaxing
The amazing view was the highlight of our stay. The house was lovely, beds very comfortable for all of us, and it felt like a very well positioned home away from home.
Woodstock is just a few minutes away and has lovely stores and restaurants. The Ashokan reservoir rail trail was a great walk for our family ranging in ages from 5 to 70+.
We would all thoroughly recommend a stay here.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is well maintained, the view was spectacular and the location was well suited to exploring the area. We rented this home with our adult children, a young grandchild (toddler) and our dog. All were accommodated well. The kitchen was well equipped, firewood was provided and the the whole reservation process went very smoothly. There was excellent hiking in the area. We hope to rent again!

Scenic escape
The property exceeded our expectations. We were very comfortable and the house was tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable . The views were spectacular once the fog lifted in the morning, although watching the progression from fog to the lake reappearing was pretty cool too. It was nice place to escape for a view days.

Amazing stay
My family & I had an amazing stay here. The house and property are so beautiful & relaxing. The house has everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck with the incredible views! It’s a very special property that is very well taken care of. Kimberly was great. Peaceful Spot with Gorgeous View!
The location is amazing - so serene and the 180 degrees of views were unbelievable. Privacy and quiet, yet so close to Woodstock and great take out options to heat up with a glass of wine and take in the sunset. We had everything we needed to relax and enjoy this spacious and comfortable home. We spotted eagles and the twinkling night sky was just phenomenal. Check in/out was simple. Property manager was easy to reach and helpful from initial booking to check out. Great recommendations for restaurants and supplies. Loved everything about our stay. This home books out so far in advance - grab a time quickly. Our next stay is already booked!!
