Easy check in/check out. Close proximity to lifts and town. Easy parking situation. Loved the shared kitchen area!

The location is great, the beds were fine, the water was hot (unfortunately no cold water to drink) but we had our locks changed before checkout time unbeknownst to us. When we tried calling to get let back in our room we got no answer (I still haven’t had a call back 2 days later). We lost out on a good hour of our powder day due to this issue. To top it off the hot tub was out of order and nobody told us this prior to check in.

This property is the perfect location for everything in Telluride. Only a couple blocks to hop on the gondola for some great mountain biking and also just a couple blocks from the Main Street. Perfect spot.

You almost can't stay closer to the Gondola without sleeping IN the gondola. The common area is comfortable and the breakfast is well-stocked. They should make a bigger point of detailing in the listing that breakfast is provided, as is ice, a microwave, etc, just not in the rooms themselves. Rooms are as spacious and comfortable as anybody needs and access is super easy.

Depot Avenue is position A in downtown Telluride! We were a block from the gondola, and only blocks from everything in town. The house was functional with a great layout for a group of people. Multiple floors of bedrooms, and the main floor kitchen, dining, and living room worked well for us. The house itself was in only OK shape. The whirlpool tub did not function correctly (heated but no working jets-unable to fix) the main floor bath shower drain did not drain well-unable to be fixed. Several (3) dining chairs had loose or broken legs-I tightened those that could be fixed. The gas grill had no propane when we arrived, and had to call for replacement. All in all, the house was OK.

I enjoyed my stay - the location particularly. Seems like I was close to everything. The Property Managers were really nice and helpful too.

Great location. The online picture is accurate. However, room is outdated. Bedspreads need to be replaced. The other side of the room has old, mismatched furniture & a really small TV

Great location and property management.

We were surprised at first when we realized the kitchen was communal, but that ended up being one of the nicest things about the lodge. We got to meet the other guests and make new friends. The lodge also provided a complementary breakfast in the communal kitchen/living room which really helped you meet the other guests and the hosts that served the breakfast were a lovely and a great source of information since they were all locals. The hot tub was awesome too. There is a fabulous heated community pool that was a 10 minute walk so we didn't miss having a pool on property. We would definitely stay there again.

It was perfect for our stay - location can't be beat

An all too short visit to beautiful Telluride, Co, Manitou Lodge was just right for our family of 4. Perfect location, yummy breakfast, "hot" hot tub, and freshly baked cookies in the afternoon :) Caretaker was super-friendly and an absolute delight. Looking forward to our next visit (hopefully in winter next time).

Loved our stay here (third year in a row). It is quiet, clean and you couldn't find a better location for Mountain Film weekend. Only one slight problem: one of the beds was missing a top sheet for some reason. It had a blanket over the fitted sheet and then a sheet over that. The fitted sheet looked stained and since it was so odd not to have a top sheet, we decided just to sleep in the other bed (which was normal). Beds may need to be replaced soon too - soft for our taste. Otherwise we loved it and will be back next year! Alpine Lodging people are very friendly and helpful.
