We had an amazing stay at this property. There was an issue early on with the HVAC system and Bard acted swiftly moving us into a neighboring unit. Super responsive! I judge a property by what happens when things go wrong. In this case 5 stars doesn’t seem like enough. I’d stay here again in a minute.

Fully equipped, cozy 3 bedroom townhouse with a fabulous lake view. Very comfortable and relaxing on a rainy day that precluded our hike.

Our family of four greatly enjoyed our time spent in this beautiful, spacious, clean, well-stocked condo right on Lake Superior. We were greeted with amazing views of the lake upon waking in the morning and throughout the day. We enjoyed grilling on the deck in the evening and eating in the dining room overlooking the lake. The location is very close to several parks and other things to do, which was perfect for us. We could not have asked for a better experience! Barb provided everything we could have wanted during our stay and communication was thorough and clear. Would highly recommend!

Stayed two nights on our exploration of Duluth to Grand Marais, was perfect location half way up. Barb was a terrific host and place had the most perfect view and very nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable.

Barb the owner was fabulous from the very start, suggesting restaurants and others points of interest. The townhouse was very clean and they supplied all that you could EVER need. The view was to die for. Locations to all the lighthouses, waterfalls, and even Duluth was great. Our group of 6 was very highly satisfied.

We cannot say enough about the location, it's perfect! It is about half way up the north shore, with easy access to the Gitchi Gami State trail for biking, Grand Marais, and all the other small towns along the way. The grounds are well maintained while still immersing you in the beauty of the north shore natural landscape. There is easy walking access to Cove Point (EXCELLENT restaurant and gift shop). The townhouse itself is absolutely beautiful, well kept and the host has thought of EVERYTHING you might need. We especially enjoyed the deck that provided a sweeping view of Lake Superior. It was an added bonus to have a washer and dryer in the townhouse. Our family thoroughly enjoyed everything about 607 Windsong! The owners were more than accommodating with our every need and were just a text or phone call away at all times! We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a fabulous place to stay on the north shore!

Barb was an amazing host who was very attentive and full of tips and suggestions to maximize our experience on the north shore. The condo itself sits in the shore of Lake Superior and is one of the best vacation rentals I’ve ever stayed in. The layout of the condo is built with intention! There are bathrooms for all 3 bedrooms, the beds were super comfy, and all the conveniences you’d expect at home were readily available. The condo is filled with her husband’s extraordinary photography which makes it all the more wonderful! Will absolutely be staying there again! Thank you for the amazing experience barb!

We brought a small group of guides from our homeschool collaborative for a relaxing and restful weekend getaway from the twin cities. The property was beautiful, with so many thoughtful touches. View was unbelievable!

The property was very clean, charming and comfortable with a gorgeous view of Lake Superior. Our host kept us well informed before and during our stay and had a book full of valuable restaurant and hiking trail reviews. The unit had everything we needed for meal preparation and was well stocked with everything. They didn’t miss anything for a comfortable stay. The kids loved the pool, of course. We would highly recommend renting from Barb and Bob!

We have stayed at this property twice and have loved it both times. The area is quiet and beautiful. Barb is such a kind person, giving us ideas of things to do in the area and making sure we are settled in. She let us know that the northern lights would be visible near by and gave us directions to where we could see them! We look forward to staying here in the future!
