The condo was perfect for our family of 4 (adult kids). Easy access to the beach, dock and pools. Great patio where we spent a lot of chill time. Clean and super comfortable beds. Even decorated with black and gold balloons and streamers for our new CU Grad! Had the fridge stocked with some staples from the on site grocery. Easy to plan trips with the resort directly, and rent golf carts. A truly relaxing place to be. We were very sad to leave.

My wife and I took our daughter on vacation to this property April 2021. The condo was clean, fully equipped and in the best location possible. Wonderful views of the beach and ocean out of the balcony and you felt like you had your own private pool and bar right out the entry door. Would definitely recommend this property and stay there again!

Best vacation ever

Everything was perfect except for the mosquitoes. There are literally thousands of mosquitoes that were swarming on in around our lanai. The mosquitoes took a very special liking to my wife and ruined her trip. The resort is beautiful, the room was huge, the furnishings were first class and the staff was awesome.

We absolutely LOVED our stay. Where do I start?! The condo is literally right on the beach! The view is unobstructed and absolutely picturesque. The Kitchen was so well stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, etc. They have absolutely everything. The beds are SO comfortable. We aren’t sleeping as well now that we are back home even! The staff at the Grand Caribe is incredible. They were so attentive and they even do your laundry!!! The owners were very helpful with questions we had before our stay. They responded almost immediately. The food was so good! Just wonderful really and we have 3 kids that are picky eaters! They loved it! Seriously, this place is amazing! The condo is so beautiful and so comfortable. The grounds are just lovely. Stay here! You won’t regret it!! Thank you so much. We hope to return in the very near future!

Great condo with a postcard worthy view from every room. Clean, comfortable, and the staff at Grand Caribe is top notch. They were there for whatever was needed, and went the extra mile to help make our anniversary even more special. The room was beautifully decorated when we arrived. Couldn't have asked for more from a vacation.

We loved everything about this property and the resort! The owners were so helpful and super easy to communicate with; the condo was beautifully decorated, impeccably maintained, well-stocked and had a picture-perfect view of the Caribbean Ocean! We cannot say enough about this condo and the Grand Caribe resort. This was our first trip to Belize and we would not stay anywhere else but in H-2 at the Grand Caribe Resort.

This condo and resort is amazing! From the moment you arrive on this property, you know you are in paradise. Everyone we encountered greeted us with a smile and was very welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. This condo is the best unit on the property. The location alone, beachfront, close to the pool and bar, but amazingly quiet, would be enough. However, then you enter the condo and are amazed by the views, decorations and wonderful bedrooms, kitchen and bathrooms. We ate at the resort restaurant, Rain, twice during our stay. Both times, the food was wonderful! We used the exercise room and always had it all to ourselves. The concierge was extremely helpful and helped us book several snorkel trips and a mainland trip. One of our favorite places was happy hour at the swim up pool bar. You must ask Junior to make you a Buen Amigo. He is a great asset to that bar, always attentive and very polite. We spent most of our mornings on the swim platform of the dock. We loved the ladder access to the water and enjoyed snorkeling around the dock when we weren't on the reef. We highly recommend renting a kayak and paddling out to one of the buoys near the reef to snorkel. Some of our favorite restaurants offsite were: Blue Water Grille on the beach in San Pedro, Palapas for a casual dinner and drinks, Elvi's Kitchen in town, and Pirates Treasure for lionfish after seeing them on the reef. We recommend renting a golf cart for all or part of your vacation. It is great to have access to town and to explore other parts of the island. The only downside to the whole trip was that darn seaweed that constantly washes up on shore. The maintenance crew work hard everyday to clear it. Luckily, when you are swimming off the dock, or near the reef, it isn't an issue. We definitely will be back to visit Belize and this great condo.

Everything was a 10! Location, condo, amenities, people, everything was beautiful. Beyond our expectation. Will definitely be back!

I also have property on VRBO and have traveled to many overseas properties using the VRBO website. This place exceeded all expectations! The condo is about two miles North of town...close enough, but, far enough away from the hustle and bustle of town. We rented a golf cart right at the front desk. Easy peasy, and our preferred mode of transportation. Was a lot of fun just exploring around the island. The people were extremely helpful and friendly. The island is very beautiful and not that developed yet. Be sure to get out and try all the beach front restaurants around the property. The condo was perfect for the two of us. Best location in the resort. Just a few steps to the water and unobstructed ocean views. We loved our stay and can't wait to return to Belize! We will definitely be back soon and definitely will be staying at this condo. Thanks a bunch, Rob

What a wonderful place for Spring Break. The unit was absolutely wonderful. The views and location were perfect. The condo had everything you needed and was very comfortable and spacious. Local restaurants were excellent. Traveling into town was a daily event for us which was quite easy. The staff at Grand Caribe were the best and catered to all our needs. Our six days was not enough and we wanted to stay longer. We will definitely come back.

The property is just beautiful. The condo is wonderful and the view from the patio is unbelievable. We had a wonderful 2 week stay and can't wait to go back. The inside of the condo is also great and well stocked with everything you would ever need to cook. Yes, we did cook when we didn't go into town. I great place to relax and enjoy some fun in the sun.

The unit was magnificent. Fully loaded. We enjoyed having breakfast at the table and looking out at the ocean. Full view--no obstructions at all! Having our laundry done was the icing on the cake(though it did take a little getting used to that housekeepers door). Having been to belize before, I have to say this is THE best maintained complex on the island. I hope they keep it up!

We LOVED our stay here at the Grand Caribe - but more importantly this unit in particular is one of the best. There are only 2 buildings that look out directly on the ocean; Building A looks out at the pier, whereas Building H (this one) has no blocked view and is more private. The icing on the cake is that the interior is beautifully decorated and since it is a ground floor unit the pool is only a step away! Honestly, the only other unit I would ever rent would be the penthouse in Building H if I had a larger group. This unit, with two bedrooms and two baths, was perfect for our family of 5. Regarding the Grand Caribe - it is beautiful and is known for its customer service. The front desk was always helpful and responsive. Though there are some other resorts up and down Ambergris Caye, we liked GC for two reasons. First, the ones closer to San Pedro are older and just not as nice (our swimming pooled ROCKED). Second, the ones that are further up make you compromise the distance into town with a golf cart. So GC was the perfect compromise. We went into town 3 times during our 7 day stay so proximity was important. Other times, we had water taxis/boats pick us up at the GC pier to take us to different outings.

We just returned from our third trip to San Pedro and third time to stay in this condo. Excellence all around. This condo is one of the best in the resort with regards to views and access to beach and pool bar area. The housekeeping staff was phenomenal. I wish that I could have taken Mirna and Maria home with me. The condo is very nicely appointed and we had everything we needed to make our trip extraordinary. The grounds of the resort are impeccable. I made it a point on one of my walks around the resort to actually seek out trash and could not find a single blemish on the grounds. Because we were returning guests, the resort also delivered a very nicely appointed fruit, cheese and wine basket which we enjoyed for happy hour on the lovely patio looking out over the ocean. The patio is awesome in the morning to soak up some Caribbean sunshine while listening to the gentle sound of the ocean, but from late morning until sunset the patio gives you a reprieve from the sun and is a great place to read or take an afternoon siesta. Prior to summer 2012 we had explored several places in the Caribbean, but since our first visit to San Pedro & this condo in 2012 we cannot bring ourselves to go anyplace else. I wish there was a rating above excellent that we could give.

Colin - We returned from our trip to your condo at Grand Caribe on Tuesday night and I wanted to email you to let you know what a great time we had! Your condo was absolutely wonderful! We felt so comfortable during the entire stay and all of the staff at the resort was extremely friendly. Upon our arrival we learned there was a wedding party staying at the resort so we worried we might be overcome with a ton of guests, but we never felt like it became too crowded on the beach or at the pool during our stay. Each night we ventured to different restaurants based on your recommendations and we were never disappointed. The food everywhere was so delicious! We also went snorkeling with Lil Alfonse and had the best time. Having snorkeled in the Bahamas, Maui, Antigua and Barbados, I have to say he is the best guide we have ever had. It's rare to find someone that will jump in the water with you and literally give you a tour as you swim around. Not to mention hand you a shark to hold as if it were your own pet. We purchased a couple of puzzles in town and donated them to your condo. During the afternoon while our son took his nap and the late evening hours when we were exhausted from the day, we enjoyed sitting at the kitchen table working on them.
