Seriously... where to begin?! This cabin was the most ideal, perfect, and magical getaway with my partner. From first sight, when we pulled up to CJ's, our jaws dropped. The location in the mountains is breathtaking. The host was attentive, communicative, and made us feel at home. The amenities were absolutely perfect.. the giant jet tub in the room, gorgeous fireplace, comfortable king bed, luxurious hot tub outside, nice shower, and all the beautiful furniture gave us such a homey feeling. The location in the mountains is so incredible. Uber trips to Gatlinburg were just $15! Moonshine tastings, sky coasters, ripleys aquarium, hiking in the mountains; all sorts of exciting memories made and CJ's was our cozy home to return to each night. There is no critique here. Hubby and I decided to go away for Christmas this year and Cj’s cabin was perfect!!! Easy to find, number lock door code so you didn’t have to worry about keys, hot tub was great, rocking chairs and view on porch was exceptional. Thanks Merritt’s!!

The cabin was cute & perfect for my husband & I. View from the back deck was amazing! Close enough to Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg, but plenty to do in between if you want to avoid the crowd!

If you want privacy, this is good for that. It's a bit off the beaten path though if you want to run out for milk or something. The cabin is fine, but it's showing wear and really needs some updates, repairs, and window cleaning. The floor rot in the bathroom is especially unattractive, and the doors stick and scratch the floors. The hot tub is noisy and vibrates the bed when the pump comes on. Just check about whether or not the repairs have been made before reserving for a honeymoon or anniversary.

This property is perfect!! Its spacious, clean, inviting and the tranquility is amazing. Sitting on the deck and enjoying the view and the sounds of nature are unbeatable. We spent the days in Gatlinburg and enjoyed the cabin at night.

Our stay was great! We enjoyed the views from the cabin. Maneuvering that narrow driveway at night was a bit tricky but over all it's a great location.

Beautiful views. Plenty of room for 2. Bed was comfortable. If scared of heights the road down to cabin might not be for you, but worth it.

Good trip

The cabin was beautiful. A short drive down the mountain to gatlinburg. The hot tub had an amazing view. We didnt stay at the cabin much throughout the day but sitting on the back porch every night to recover from hiking was beyond tranquil. 10/10 recommend.

We had a wonderful time and the cabin amenities really added to our relaxation! The hot tub with mountain views was perfect and difficult to leave! We hiked most of our trip in the Smoky Mountains and it was nice to have such an excellent place to return to each afternoon. We hope to come back and stay again soon!

Great stay with beautiful scenery

Very comfortable, new-ish pots n pans made cooking easy. Hot tub was warm when we arrived around 6pm and we got right in. There are other cabins nearby but you can't tell, it's quiet and feels secluded. A lovely spot, I would stay again.

My wife and I came for a long weekend and my 40th birthday. We were looking for secluded setting, Mountain View’s and relaxation. This place delivered! Loved everything about it. Hot tub was amazing, views were fantastic, and we were away from the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg.

This location should be won a bucket list for anyone that loves the room with a view! Was absolutely a great stay even got a storm when we were there! We will be back!

Absolutely no words !!

We loved the cozy and peaceful cabin. The jacuzzi and hot tub were great. Everything was clean and well kept. Our only complaint is that the road to the cabin was narrow and scary for us with a wide vehicle. It isn’t an area that’s easy to get to.

Property was incredible and so was the location. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Absolutely loved it. 5 stars. There was a bit of an issue at check in, in that the property in the directions was not the property that we rented so we ended up going to the wrong cabin. This cabin is called “CJs”. If you know that going in you’ll go right to the right place. Also, the drive up the mountain has a very narrow road with a drop on one side and a wall on the other. It runs 0.1 or 0.2 miles. We, thankfully, never encountered another car but I would encourage you to get a small rental car in case you aren’t so fortunate. Passing doesn’t seem possible for two large vehicles and reversing, from either direction, would be scary. These items don’t take anything away from the property, the property is top notch and I’d encourage you to rent it.

Loved it! Cute rustic cabin in the Smokies. Very peaceful, clean and well equipped. Loved the hot tub also has an inside jacuzzi! Would highly recommend!
