Overall I would highly recommend this property because it is on the east side of downtown Seaside and within walking distance to the beach and town center. The property has great parking for two cars which is hard to find at Seaside. Very convenient location to shops, dining, the beach and great place for pets!

Family has enjoyed Seaside for over twenty years. Have experienced both the largest and smallest homes. We look for comfort and atmosphere. Sandpiper was perfect! Wonderful beach cottage.

Great vacation

Great locations minutes from the beach. The property is small but worked well for a family of four. Everything functioned in the house but the house is becoming a bit tired and needs a refresh. Sofa and chairs are getting well used and worn out. The king bed in the master did not have a proper headboard and my pillow kept sliding away, which was a bit annoying. When we arrived the water pipe burst under the house and had to be fixed. The property management gets credit for addressing it immediately and fixing it right away. Good experience overall but will stay at a bigger house next time with a proper street view.

It was perfect for us , my daughter and two granddaughters. Loved the location to the beach and seaside shopping. The house needs a few repairs but we had a wonderful time. Thank you for sharing your home. We have always loved Seaside.

Fantastic location, a 2 minute walk to the beach, and short walk to town center. Perfect size for my wife, daughter and I. We will be back!

Very pleased, just could have used a little more utensils

We loved the location because we could walk to everything Seaside has to offer. Finding the key and getting into the house after dark was a little challenging.

It was overall good. Smaller than I thought. Got hot upstairs during the day. Need to let renters know there are NO closets. Tvs upstairs don’t work. Good location to everything. Couch on screen porch stinks of mildew.

First, I thought Sandpiper realty was awesome! They were very kind and quick to help us with small issues (broken toaster and hairdryer). Thank you!! My husband and I shared this house with our 17 year old daughter and two of her friends. While the property is in an excellent location, close to the beach and town, we didn’t realize that it Is surrounded by other homes, not on the street. It has a nice porch, but can feel a bit claustrophobic because it closely faces homes on all sides. Our biggest problem was the layout of the home. It is much smaller than pictures make it seem. I wish we had known that there is no connected bathroom for the master bedroom. The 2 bedrooms are upstairs. The master bathroom is across the hall, next to the bunkbed room. The people in the bunkbed room use the bathroom downstairs off of the family room. This may not be an issue if you have a family with young children. For us, with three 17 year old females, it was very uncomfortable, especially for my husband. Overall, not a bad house, just not great for a group with these ages.

This house was perfect for our family of 4. Awesome location so close to the beach with private beach access so it was never crowded. Would definitely stay here again.

Minor issues - overall excellent.

Our family had a wonderful break at Seaside in Sandpiper! We'll definitely be back. We were able to get one perfect day at the beach and my girls loved riding bikes the rest of the weekend. There are so many wonderful places to eat on 30A but we had great meals at Red Bar and Local Catch this trip.

This is the ideal location, you can't get any better. We are here with our 4 and 5 year old daughters, and we can walk the 40 yards to the beach, and two streets to the town very easily. I agree that the house is smaller than it looks, but perfect for a family of 4 or 5. The top bunk is up against a slanted ceiling, and has very steep ladder, so really only good for a bigger kid or an uncomfortable adult. The coffee maker was broken upon arrival (someone quickly came with a new one), but the TV/DVD player in the bunk room doesn't change channels or work for dvds. The kitchen could use an updating of equipment, not that many dishes, plates, etc if you are staying a week, but it does have everything you need. The beach umbrella provided is not a useable beach umbrella, and the chairs are a little beat up, but we just used the beach chairs and umbrella at the beach that you can rent. There are no screens on the windows to allow a breeze in (i'm sure that's to protect from humidity) but the screened in porch is fantastic. With all of these little things, it doesn't deduct from the amazing location of the house. And, we had a dozen fresh donuts delivered courtesy of the rental agency, huge bonus in the kids eyes:) We would stay here again for sure!

Our small family really enjoyed the Sandpiper. The cottage is smaller than the pictures looked, but was very adequate for my wife and I along with our 4 yr old and 1 yr old. The kitchen is upgraded and has everything you need. The location is perfect! Only a very short walk from the beach and 2 streets from the center of Seaside. The sandpiper was wonderful!

We had a great experience from beginning to end with Sandpiper Vacation Rentals. The whole securing the reservation was simple. The follow up was great. The house was even better!

We just got back from our wonderful vacation. The house was wonderful, perfect for our family. We have 4 children ages 5, 3, 3, and 6 months. My older boys stayed in one room and my husband and I stayed in the master room with our baby. While the house was a little small for 6 it worked well, because we didn't spend much time in the house! It was a 3 minute walk to the beach with kids and about a 5 minute walk to the center town. My kids had a blast and so did my husband and I. We will be returning!!

"Sandpiper Cottage" is everything it claims to be plus so much more! The cottage is nestled in the heart of the seaside community but we felt secluded and private with all of the foliage and perfect placement. We walked and biked everywhere and enjoyed the extra amenities. We had a fabulous romantic anniversary getaway thanks to Sandpiper! Thank you so much, we can't wait to come again…..and this time bring the family!

We had just right accomdations for two adults and 3 teenage girls! The house is perfectly located for quick access to the beach (3 minute walk) and access to the neighborhood fitness and pool accomodations. Two bikes were provided and we got 1 extra so the girls could commute to other areas of town where their friends were staying. Easy walk for them to go to the town center to meet friends for snacks and "hanging out". Accomodations were sufficient for the 5 of us -- everything was nice, clean, and well cared for! Thanks to the Sandpiper Crew for making everything so nice and easy for us! We would definitely return.

This cottage is very small. The photos are deceiving. It is updated and clean and very cute, however, there is no grill and the neighbors call security if you park in front.

Our family decided to take our vacation at the end of February before the spring break rush. We weren't sure how the weather would cooperate or how cold the water would be. The Gulf waters were frigid but the 70 degree days that we had were perfect for relaxing on the beach or biking down 30A (which we did and loved). The cooler rainy days gave us an excuse to explore the surrounding communities or stay at our fabulous cottage and play games. Seaside is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. The sunset over the turquoise waters with the sugar white sand all blend together like an amazing watercolor. The whole town is pristine and has an amazing Southern feel. Our Sandpiper Cottage fit right in. The muted colors and the bead-board ceilings all give it such an ethereal feel. The kitchen is gorgeous and had almost everything that we needed. I looked forward to soaking in the pedestal tub every evening. We have two boys, 8 and 10, and they loved their room with the bunk beds. So nice to also have the two bikes and the beach chairs and toys. (The boys spent hours in the water despite the frigid temperatures). The walk to the beach was literally one minute and we had a beautiful pavilion where we could sit above the beach and watch the sunset. We were happy to have a heated pool and fitness center right down the street. (Although in the off season, as we found out, it is $155 extra to be able to have access to these.) We highly recommend the Great Southern Cafe and Cowgirl Kitchen (which is just down the road in Rosemary Beach) and Gulf World in Panama City Beach was a great little place to take the boys to see dolphin and sea lion shows and more up close. We always say that we will go back to a place when we vacation but, ultimately, end up going somewhere new. This time will be different. This was the perfect relaxing vacation and Sandpiper cottage was the perfect place to stay. I miss Seaside! I had to buy an artist's painting of the Sandpipers on the beach and already have it hanging. It makes me happy every time I look at it.

Great spot - quick walk to the beach - quick walk anywhere. We were escaping midwest winter and worked remotely. Mark and the Sandpiper staff are wonderful to work with.

We had a wonderful week in Seaside in the Sandpiper cottage. The cottage was clean and in a great location. We were just a few steps from the beach and a short walk to town, pools etc. We especially enjoyed time on the screened in porch reading or having a meal. Also, the upper deck is great for some sun during the day and star gazing at night. Having the bikes was a great added bonus. Thanks for sharing your Seaside home with us.

My husband, my two girls and I stayed at Sandpiper and had a wonderful experience! Charming furnishings and a short walk to the beach made this the perfect cottage for us! It was also very convenient to the pools and the town. We didn't have to get in the car once. We plan on heading back next year!

We visit the beautiful beaches of 30A every summer but this was our first experience during the winter. We decided to spend our Christmas this year in Seaside and it was perfect. The weather was a bit cool at times but there was plenty to do in Seaside and not as crowded as it is during the summer months which was very nice. Mark's cottage was exactly as described -- very welcoming and perfect for myself, my husband and our 16 year-old daughter who had 3 beds to herself -- what teenager wouldn't love that!! We would definitely stay here again and again!!! Also, due to weather-related travel issues with the airlines, we ended up staying through the New Year and am I glad we did. Seaside has the best fireworks display hands down -- and right on the beach!!! This is definitely a must visit for New Year's Eve!!
