House was great! All the amenities you need. It would have been nice to have more beach/bath towels since they’re was 10 of us. Also kitchen more kitchen as well. We made it work by washing everyday, sometimes twice a day. The location on the beach is amazing. It’s a less than 2 minute to walk to the beach. The water was beautiful. I would definitely come back!

This house is in the perfect location. Near a quiet beach and with access to a boat ramp on the bay side. The house feels bigger than the square footage and the large deck adds a lot of space to hang out. We will definitely return in the future.

The location of this beach house is perfect. It's close to the beach (2 mins' walk at most), but also keeps its privacy and peace from people on the beach. The house itself is as described as on the website, very spacious for our family. I just hope that the host could upgrade the mattress and spring box in the guest rooms, because they make a lot of noises.

Great fishing, great shelling, large deck area, great open Floorplan, lots of space and light. Loved our time together.

We LOVED this house! It’s space is used very well and it comfortably slept our family!! I agree with other reviews that there should be a mattress topper for the bottom bunks especially if they’re for adults.. our college aged son was a bit uncomfortable on one but our grandson had no complaints on the other so I think their size differences mattered.. The house has SO MANY well thought out items provided including a playpen that our youngest grandson slept in. They even have beach towels available. I would say it needs a couple extra dish towels.. we found only one in the drawer and it would have been nice to have one or two extra. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOUSE! The view is AMAZING, the deck is FANTASTIC and it was SO GREAT to have the grill upstairs as well as that GORGEOUS fire pit.. the beach is SO CLOSE and the place to rinse off downstairs was AWESOME! We DEFINITELY plan to rent here again! The owner is SUPER RESPONSIVE AND SO EASY TO INTERACT WITH! Can’t say enough GREAT THINGS about the house and Jim! He is an EXEMPLARY HOST!!!

There were 7 adults ranging from 22yrs to 70yrs old. There was plenty of deck space & the house didn't feel crowded. There are about 27 steps on the stairs, easily manageable for the majority of us. Neighborhood is quiet. Beach access is just past the sand dunes with plenty of space. It served us wwll.

We had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend here. Just a short walk to the quiet beach and there were water views from every side of the deck! The house was spacious, comfortable and full of natural light. Covered parking under the deck and room for a golf cart as well. Watching the stars and listening to the waves at night from the hammock and deck chairs was so relaxing. We had a great time making memories with friends and family.

WOW! What an Awesome home. Pictures do NOT do it justice. We had a wonderful stay. So close to the beach with wonderful fishing and close to the pass. Such a welcoming feeling as soon as you enter this home. We had 9 adults and 1 two year old with plenty of room for all. TOP of our list of places to come back to.

The home was beautiful. The rooms/beds were perfect for our family of adult children and spouses and in-laws. The stairs to the house were quite a bit, but we had our parents take them slow. The views are wonderful. The kitchen was well stocked with the basics. The only issue were the mattresses on the full bunk beds. They felt like fold out couch coils. They were not comfortable! A two inch memory foam topper would be ideal. All else was in good shape. Enjoyed the good cookware. Would be nice to offer a re-usable Keuring cup for individual coffee but no biggie. Would definitely stay again.

Morning coffee on the deck is amazing when staying here. The sound of the waves in the morning is fantastic. The house was spacious and comfortable. We shopped at the grocery store in Galveston before arriving since the closest store to the house is about a 15 minute drive. The new grill was so nice to have. Walking over to the beach was easy. We went south into surfside as well and that was a cute little town as well. Nice beach there as well.

This home was absolutely perfect! Spacious, beautiful, and family friendly. Close to a beach that was not over crowded, and beautiful ocean views when you were enjoying time in the home. My husband went fishing and had great success. Book this home now! It’s been our favorite beach Vacay spot

Beautiful home! Loved the high ceilings and huge open concept…. Fully paved driveway for all of our vehicles and still plenty of room to set up a play pool for kids….

Great cabin overall, nothing but good things to mention and would defiantly go back again. Only thing that was a stinker was the small local corner store was closed down so you could not get ice and there is no ice in the freezer. Be sure to pick up ice on your drive in or you will be back tracking for a bit.

This house is beautiful and so close to the beach! Plenty of room for everyone...room large enough to actually live comfortably here. Loved the large wrap around porch to sit outside, listen to the ocean and star gaze. Wonderful private beach and neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet. Could not have asked for anything more! It was a good place for a long weekend with family. The beach is close, the layout is good for a large group to get along. Only down side was the pots and pans were not good for trying to cook for everyone.

Amazing property just as described in an amazing location. Ocean is just steps away and the view from the balcony is beautiful. Everything you need is inside (except for maybe a hair dryer) and it’s only like a 10-minute-drive to get groceries and/or gas. Galveston is about a 30-minute-drive away. The air conditioner is a lifesaver and the bathrooms and nicely stocked. Jim is very attentive and easy to reach. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Jim!

Stayed in this area multiple times and this property is great. The house layout is great especially for a larger group with kids. We loved everything about it & will definitely book again if available. The quick walk or golf cart ride (a golf cart always makes things better) to the beach was great & the view from the house was better than expected. The owner is also great & would definitely recommend to anyone considering the area.

We had a lovely stay at the Buccaneer. The location is perfect and a truly feels right on the beach. There is even sand from the driveway that continues all the way to the beach. The space was perfect for families and we enjoyed the extra large patio. There were quite a few mosquitoes so bring bug spray or a bug zapper to counter that. The only negative was that the mattresses and pots and pans could have been updated/upgraded and this house would have been even better. Thank you for letting us stay in this beautiful property!

Our stay was everything we expected. Our hosts were wonderful and the the beach was great. We loved the house and it’s roominess. It was perfect!

We had a great time at this beach house. It was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. There was plenty of room to stretch out, and it was just a quick walk to the beach.

The property was beautiful in a great location. The owner is A+ and communicates very timely. The only negative is the cleaning company that cleans the house. The house could be cleaned a little better, a new shower curtain, there were towels left in the dryer and the furniture could be vacuumed better. Overall a great place.
