Nice unit, short walk to the beach. We enjoyed our stay.

We were looking for a place on Lake Michigan that allowed dogs and this was a great place. Short walk to the Port Tier beach and if you want to bring your dogs to a dog friendly beach, Warren Dunes is only a 15 minute drive. The local community is nice with a couple of good restaurants within walking distance and a deli just right around the corner.

We loved our accommodations. Our unit was private with a seating area outside (#3). It had everything we needed. Walking distance to the beach and the Whistle Stop. We have always loved that neighborhood and this is going to be our new preferred destination when we go to Union Pier.

The Elephant Walk is a wonderful relaxing place! Cottage 3 worked well for us and our Sheepadoodle, the side yard was perfect for relaxing in the evening and allowing Aspen to join us! Will definitely stay again!

We needed a place to stay close to 3 Oaks, that allowed dogs. This place was just right! Clean, cozy and a yard big enough to throw the ball for our lab. We would stay here again. The Roadhouse next door had amazing food as well!

Cute Cottage
Nice clean small cottage.
Bed and the couch were not very comfortable at all. They squeaked every time you moved. After three nights of attempting to sleep we just left because it was that uncomfortable. Which is a bummer because we lost out on all that money renting the place for a week.

Great little spot
We really enjoyed this cottage. The location is nice and close to the beach. Cottage is well appointed and comfortable. Grounds are nice and we enjoyed the firepit. No laundry is a bummer, so I would definitely recommend bringing extra towels or them providing extra. It was quite humid and there is no vent in the bathroom so they never dried out. Other than that we loved it and will stay again.

Elephant Walk is an amazing property, with everything we needed for our visit. A close walk to the beach, restaurant, and mini store. Our host was amazing, and everything was so smooth. We will definitely be back!!

Bruno the Chihuahua and I had a really great time in #3. It is the perfect getaway. The bed was super comfy and everything was clean and tidy. I loved walking around the area and had a great time hiking and exploring. Hosts were awesome.

Just ok
The hideaway bed mattress needs replacing, very poor condition. The firepit area...simply unkept. The neighbor directly behind the firepit area; his music was so loud that my sister and I walked over to ask him to turn it down. He said he was trying to drown out the noise...he was the only one making noise. Too much money for the experience.

The place was very clean and it was a short walk to relax beach. While the picture are what you get, it does not show the layout well. We were both a bit surprised when we walked in. It is connected to the main house which took us a minute to find.

We had a great stay at elephant walk in Union Pier, Michigan. The cabin was very clean and the location is great – walkable to the beach and the Union Pier Roadhouse restaurant. I would gladly stay there again.

In COVID times, a fully equipped cottage is valuable for staying in, and not depending on restaurants and stores. For the premium we paid on this charming property, and the care the host put into COVID measures, we were not expecting to have to fake it in the kitchen. It might have had a real knife, a cutting board and a few more utensils. So BYO, and throw in some dinner forks as there are only little salad forks, and you will have a good time here! The

Cute little cottage
Cute little cottage (dog friendly) and very close to the lake/beach. Road House restaurant located right by the Elephant Walk is walking distance and has fantastic food. Short drives to many restaurants and grocery stores. We did road trips to St. Joe, New Buffallo, Warren Dunes & Indiana Dunes all very close to the cottage. Beach access is in the backyard of the property... don't miss it as it shortens your walk to the beach. We enjoyed our stay and fell in love with Michigan. The owner, Erica is very nice & responsive.
