The house is beautiful and it is located in a safe and quiet neighborhood. It is close to a lot of activities. The landlord was easy to communicate with. We had a great time staying here.

A relaxing quiet, clean place to stay. Close to great food and we were able to see many more sites than we had thought. The Island is beautiful. Claudia and Kevin gave great suggestions and directions. They were so helpful to us. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!

We had such a great stay here! Claudia went above and beyond for us. She helped us with anything we needed and checked in to make sure things were going well. We really can't thank her enough! The place is clean, the view is great, and it is very quiet! The area is nice as it is away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still an easy drive to most things. I can't recommend staying here enough. Thank you Claudia!

Check in was smooth, house was immaculate, view was spectacular and proximity to attractions, was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning soon. We'll definitely be reaching out again next time we come back into town.

I have been to Oahu 5 times … The location of this property cannot be beat. It is out of the tourism of Waikiki, but still close enough if you want to visit. So many nice beaches within a few minutes drive (including Hanauma Bay, Makapu, Blow Hole, Sandy and Lanakai/Kailua, etc). The drive to the North Shore from this location isn’t that bad either. Also, good food and shopping centers close by (including Costco). Koko crater is staring at you out the window from the rental and it is such a wonderful hike (amazing views from the top). Again, best location available if you are into exploring the island.
The rental itself is clean and wonderful. Private entrance with the best view of the ocean and Koko crater (sunrise is amazing)! Beach towels, chairs/umbrella, snorkel gear for use was an added bonus! We will definitely come again to this rental (no reason to look anywhere else on Oahu)! My kids are already asking to go back … they say no more Disney, only Hawaii, and it is mainly due to our stay at this rental! Such a wonderful time!! Thank you Claudia and Kevin for being wonderful hosts and available/responsive for any questions we had about the area!!

The property was very clean, comfortable and had a beautiful view of Hawaii Kai! The hosts were very kind and extremely conscientious. The neighborhood was very safe and shopping and restaurants were nearby. It was everything we had hoped for!

We had a great stay in Hawaii Kai; it felt like we were staying with friends! The view was spectacular. The residence and amenities were exactly what we needed to have a restful and beautiful stay in Hawaii for the week. Our hosts were so nice and helpful too! The location was perfect for us, away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki and in a very quiet residential neighborhood. The apartment itself slept the 3 of us very comfortably and had all the necessary items to cook a full thanksgiving dinner. I would definitely stay here again and strongly recommend it to small families or couples.

Hawaii Kai Guest House
My girlfriend Elizabeth and I had a wonderful vacation at Claudia and Ken's Hawaii Kai Guess House! The panoramic view from the many windows is fabulous! The unit is super clean with very nice furniture and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking most of our own meals during our 10 day stay. The bathroom also has a nice collection of toiletries is case you forgot to pack an item. As weather was windy and overcast we took day excursions. The location was perfect for driving from one end of the island to the other. Claudia was a very informative tour guide. There is plenty to see and do on Oahu. The WiFi and TV reception is very good. The washer and dryer were handy and the linens were luxiurious! We highly recommend this apartment for a relaxing vacation!! Aloha

Wonderful ocean views!
Claudia's vacation rental is wonderful! The minute we stepped into the unit we knew we had found an exceptional place, probably the nicest we have rented in the five years we have been visiting Oahu. The unit is sparkling clean, quiet, and airy with views of Koko Head crater and the ocean. Even Maui is visible on a clear day!
Attention was given to details like the quality linens and kitchenware. Even a couple beach chairs, an umbrella and snorkel gear were available for our trips to nearby beaches or Hanauma Bay. We had finally found a quiet retreat for our extended stay; a cosy spot to curl up with a book or to cook an evening meal after a day at the beach or hiking. In short, this unit met all our needs. Check in and check out was easy and our hostess frequently inquired if there was anything we needed. Don't hesitate to consider this lovely rental! We hope to come back soon!

It's a tricky time to travel but they helped make it easy with consistent pre arrival communication and updates. We visit our family friends every year in Oahu, and the location was perfect so we can also visit our favorite local spots! My wife and I have 3 kids and we did our best to remind them not to make too much noise late at night. Regardless Claudia and Kevin still told us to let the kids enjoy. Awesome hosts I tell you! Staying at Hawaii Kai was very comfortable, the morning sunrise was great and the location is really convenient for reaching cool spots on Oahu, like China Walls, Waimanalo, and Zippys :) Claudia and Kevin were also very helpful and communicative with us!

I am also from Hawaii, and can attest to the convenience of this neighborhood, which offers nearby dining (went to the Moena Cafe daily for breakfast) and recreation. It was also a pleasure to meet Claudia, Kevin and their daughter. While we were out most of the days and evenings, Claudia and Kevin were so helpful whenever we needed anything. An A+++ all the way!

She monitors your stay. She has cameras. She said that it’s her property she can do what she wants. I responded that it’s invasion of privacy. Gave us 2 bath towels for 50 days. If you leave porch light on. She’ll turn it off. My grandson is a marine he came back very late in early morning hours. . I would not recommend this rental. Not a pleasant stay.

Clean, cozy and wonderful views! Great neighborhood, quiet and safe. Everything you would need to prepare your own meals. We enjoyed our stay and meeting Claudia and Kevin. We will definitely stay here again when ever we are visiting Oahu.
