The house was great for our need, a place to sleep. The only thing I noticed was the filter in the refrigerator needs replacing, other than that , it was perfect. Some more TV options would be a great add on(local news, etc.).

Perfect accommodations and location

This property worked out well for our extended family of 8. Everyone got a bed and we all fit comfortably around the dining room table. The house was well stocked with all we needed and the host was friendly and easy to get in touch with. I even enjoyed the outdoor space on the front deck. I would book again if I was in Anchorage.

We had a wonderful stay here!
Our host was fabulous and very quick on any questions that we had.
The newly remodeled bathrooms were so tastefully done. The location was perfect for what we were looking to do. Very easy to drive downtown for dinners and centrally located for our trips outside of Anchorage. The whole house is extremely well kept. Would definitely stay again and would recommend.

My family of 8 had no problem with space in the house. It had all the necessities needed for cooking and it was comfortable. The next door neighbors were a little loud so we needed ear plugs but other than that the place is truly wonderful. Would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed staying at the house in Anchorage. The property is beautiful and has everything you could need. The house has 4 great bedrooms and 2 baths. We never felt crowded even with 6 adults. We would definitely stay here again.

Spacious, clean and welcoming home for our group of 8! This home had everything you could possibly need and was conveniently located to all of our events and activities over the course of the week. Comfy beds, plenty of towels, well stocked kitchen, laundry facilities and a quiet neighborhood. Look forward to our next Alaska visit!

North Star was the perfect home base for my siblings and I on our first trip to Alaska. It is conveniently located to the airport, downtown Anchorage, the Seward Highway, and many dining and shopping options.
Check-in and Check out were super simple, and Jennifer responded to questions and messages quickly. She was easy to work with.
The place was extremely well stocked, and we found everything we needed. The layout of the bedrooms worked great for our group, the beds were very comfortable, and I appreciated the newly remodeled bathrooms. The house is well maintained and very clean.
Our whole group loved our stay here, and if (when) we ever travel to Alaska, we would definitely book it again.

Awesome space
My husband and I and our four teenagers enjoyed 8 nights in this house. The house was very well stocked, and had everything we needed for our stay. It’s close enough to the highway to make it easy to travel to neighboring towns both north and south of Anchorage. Jen was easy to work with, and answered questions via text during our stay. The dining recommendations were great, and the added bonus of having teenage based books in one bedroom was a nice touch. While we knew the house didn’t have AC, it was very warm outside during our stay, but having screened in windows and box fans helped us cool off. We traveled around the region every day and were glad to come “home” to this house each night. Highly recommend to families who want to explore Alaska!

Feels Like Home
This property was perfect for our family vacation. The beds were divine, the house was clean and so beautifully decorated. There was plenty of countertop, cabinet and drawer space, so you didn’t have to be creative to use your “stuff.” My husband is on a walker, but everything was walker accessible. The shower in the master was easy for him to get into. The house was so well-stocked that we felt very much at home. The owners were lovely. It was centrally located for easy access to shopping and eating establishments. We would definitely recommend this home for families, couples or singles.

We had no issues with this property. It was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. It was easy to find and get to. Jennifer was very easy to work with and had open lines of communication and quick responses. We would absolutely stay again. It fit all of our six people with room for a few more. Very nice house, loved staying there!

It was so good to find everything just as advertised! The house felt like home for 8 wonderful days. It was obvious that every effort has been used to keep the place in excellent shape. We had plenty of room and found everything we needed had been provided. Jennifer was so much help with sightseeing help when asked. Great experience

Outside lawn was perfect for our family dinner. Kitchen was large and well stocked( except for sheet pans or cookie sheets. ) Stove had a broken burner and we couldn’t get fan or light to work. There was plenty of sheets and towels And beds were very comfortable. I would suggest repairing outside stairs to back lawn.

This is our second time staying at this location. It is spacious and the parking allowed more than one vehicle. The home was fully stocked with linens, kitchen items, and toiletries. The host was responsive and checked in on us. One recommendation would be to replace the back room mattress and bed frame. The set up was difficult to get out of bed and it was squeaky every time you readjusted or moved out of the bed. This is definitely our Anchorage go to location! Thank you!!!

The private driveway was a real plus bringing in groceries in thru the front. The patio was practically situated and we used the seating on many mornings for coffee. I can recommend this home is plenty fit for any family long term or short term. The price was very reasonable and just makes more sense than a hotel. Great place and the host was fantastic about any questions or concerns we had, going out of their way to make sure we were accommodated properly.

Beautiful house
My friends and I loved our stay at Jennifer's place! It was very spacious, clean and organized! The location was perfect and nearby to many shops. We definitely will book again if we ever visit Anchorage again!

Stylish and Cozy House
We stayed 8 days in August at this stylish and cozy house in Anchorage. It is well equipped with all the things you would need for a comfortable stay. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to bake and cook. They have all the appliances you need (I really wanted a blender, and they had one), and a huge rack of spices too! The landlord even left drinks in the fridge for us. If we had any questions, the landlord was quick to answer and help. The tv had a large selection of shows and there is a big deck out front with a table to enjoy your meals or just a beverage. On the back deck is a great barbecue , which we really used a lot. The laundry room is huge and well equipped . We had a wonderful stay at a very special house.

If you have a chance to visit Anchorage, this it the place to stay. This home is very cozy and roomy. Our host, Jennifer was great!

Nice/modern house and great location!
This was a great house and location for our family group of 1 baby, 2 kids, 1 teen, 4 adults. It had a large kitchen table and great kitchen to cook our meals. It was also a great location from many of the activities we did in Anchorage and just minutes from Walmart. It had a nice backyard for some of the kids to play in and comfortable bedrooms!

Sons wedding
We came up to Alaska for our sons wedding and knew we needed a house for several family members to stay and a place for other family to stop in for meals. I also needed a kitchen big enough to put together food for rehearsal dinner. Jennifer’s house was spacious, lots of seating, the patio out front was perfect in the morning, the kitchen was well stocked with small appliances, knives, cutting boards etc. The house was clean and modern with comfortable beds. Toys for my 7year old, an iron and ironing board, bocce ball which we played in the big back yard. Even the piano got some use. Prior to our arrival Jennifer gave me good tips on where to shop for specialty foods. We would’ve stayed longer if we could. I would definitely recommend Jennifer’s home.

Beautiful and Convenient to the city
Our family of 10 thoroughly enjoyed our short but delightful stay in Anchorage. This older home has been beautifully updated in ways that made the stay even more pleasant. It had everything we needed -- a variety of sleep options (bed sizes and arrangements, clean baths, toys for kids, and a very usable kitchen). And, it was so close to the sites we wanted to see.
