Great weekend in Charlottesville, loved the neighborhood and the walk to local restaurants. The small house was perfect for my wife and I. Highly recommended!

This property was just perfect for our needs. House is off street a bit, making our stay feel more private. Wonderfully clean and inviting - decor was so cute, tasteful and streamlined - I was very comfortable. A/C works well! No kitchen or laundry was fine for me - a vacationer shouldn't have to cook or clean. Small fridge, coffee maker, snack bars, and bottled water are provided. Several restaurants are an easy short walk away. There is one off-street parking space, but we found it easier to park in front. Steps to front door are steep, watch your step. This was everything we needed. Thank you Janice!

This cute little house was perfect for a girls weekend getaway to Charlottsville. Easy walking distance to the downtown mall, but in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend as long as you do not need a full kitchen! Only mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave etc. Perfect for a quick trip with no cooking :)

Great place for our final stop on our college tour. Super close to UVA with a great bakery at the end of the street. Beds were comfy and the shower was wonderful! Nice to have after one place we stayed didn’t have great beds or shower pressure… the porch was our favorite spot especially in the evening. Super private even though you’re right on the road. You’d never really know because of the bushes. We’ll be back if my daughter chooses UVA!

The bungalow was extremely clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Not huge, but as described and perfectly adequate for our needs. It has a beautiful little front porch and landscaping that I'm sure takes quite a bit of effort to keep up. I'd definitely come back if I plan another trip to the area & want to be close to the downtown mall.
Somehow we left a couple of items at the house, and Janice was kind enough to mail them along very promptly. A++ host for sure.

Janice's place was SO clean! There was plenty of parking and the Downtown area was only a 10-15 min walk. The property description is accurate. We also appreciated the large water bottles and K Cups. I loved all of the pillows I had on my twin bed. 😀

This was a great stay in Charlottesville! Janice is a wonderful host! She had water, fruit and granola bars waiting for us. It is such a charming little place with a beautiful front porch to hangout on, the beds were very comfortable and it is walking distance to some nice restaurants. She also checked on us after a couple of days to see if we needed anything.I would definitely recommend staying here.

This home was very clean. There were plenty of new, clean bath towels. Sheets and comforters were clean and very nice. Everything you could need was available--extra bathroom paper products, hair dryer, iron, coffee cups, wine glasses, and disposable cups and plates. The front porch was divine. Janice provided coffee K cups, creamer, water, and fruit and breakfast bars. Her communication about checking in was very clear and directions were easy to follow. The house was a short walk to several very popular restaurants and bars in C'ville. We had a wonderful visit at this charming, beautifully maintained home.

The property was beyond our expectations. It was in a great location, extremely well cared for, clean and well stocked. Janice was very helpful and really paid attention to the details. Fresh flowers, all the things you need for a quick breakfast and cup of coffee. We will definitely stay with Janice again when we head back to Charlottesville.

Three of us stayed this in this bungalow , and we loved it ! It was just the perfect amount of space that we needed ! We walked 10 mins to downtown and to several restaurants there .This place is a 10 minute drive to Monticello and UVA . There are many wineries in the area , but we chose a lunch at Early Mountain which was approximately 20 minutes drive from here .

Perfect for our stay
I’m a Charlottesville native who was back in town for a family wedding. I didn’t spend too much time on the property due to all the wedding festivities. That said, it was everything we needed it to be. Price was reasonable, location was great. I knew there wasn’t a full kitchen going into it, but figured there’d at least be a sink or something. Otherwise, it was spot on and Janice was super easy to work with. Would stay again!

Perfect Bungalow
My favorite rental in Charlottesville. Warm and cozy, very clean and inviting. Janice does an excellent job hosting and preparing her home for renters with fresh flowers gracing rooms, clean & fresh linens, snacks/water/coffee. My husband and I love her home - and great location in Belmont too! Look forward to our next visit at the Bungalow.

A Happy New Year in Belmont
We had a wonderful new year’s stay at this lovely cottage in Belmont. The location was perfect, with excellent restaurants only a short walk away. The cottage was super comfortable and clean with everything we needed. I would very highly recommend for anyone who doesn’t need a kitchen. We didn’t, and it was perfect!

Charming Bungalow
We are a group of three high schools friends in our 60's who meet up one a year to catch up and explore. Charlottesville was a short drive with plenty of places to explore. The bungalow was perfect, we did not miss a kitchen at all. Close to all restaurants and the mall. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of nice comfy sheets and towels. Our favorite spot was the front porch for coffee and wine. Neighborhood is safe and friendly. Thank you Janice for our stay.

Perfect
This sweet house is on a perfect street in one of Charlottesville's sweetest neighborhoods, just down the block from great restaurants but quiet and bucolic. I lived in Charlottesville for 6 years and was so excited to stay in Belmont with two friends when I returned for a wedding. We were able to walk to two of the wedding events, and to the shuttle on the downtown mall that took us to the wedding proper. Janice was easy to work with, and the house was just as described. It's clean, comfortable, and convenient.

So Cute!
My friend and I stayed in this adorable bungalow in the week leading up to my wedding - and it was perfect for us! The cottage is adorable, and the Belmont location is fantastic - within walking distance of many things we needed/wanted. We enjoyed sitting on the porch with our coffee! Janice was attentive and helpful! Definitely recommend and would stay there again.
