Perfect place for the 4 of us, with the upstairs and downstairs areas for each couple. Plenty of room both inside and outside on the deck for extended family to gather. Beautiful view of lake.

Great location! Beautiful house, very clean, great communication. The only drawback is before you depart you are required to clean the whole bathrooms and sweep and vacuum the house. I would recommend staying here.

Lakewood lodge was beautiful, clean, well-stocked, and so much fun! We spent a week as a family of four and then had three adult friends join us for a second week, and there was something for everyone: watching movies with airpopper popcorn, cooking on the outdoor grill, wine- and cider-tasting, eating at the porch's umbrella table, watching a storm on the screen porch, stargazing at night, swimming in the lake (we drove to a close spot for swimming), making ice cream passports to try many of the local creameries, enjoying a huge collection of games, hiking gorge trails, browsing farmer's markets... The location is perfect, the "neighborhood" was quiet, and the hosts were responsive and wonderful. We'll stay here again, for sure!

We had wonderful time staying at this beautiful location overlooking gorgeous Cayuga Lake. It had a stunning view of the lake, very close to several wineries/breweries and 40 minutes to Frontenac Harbor Marine where we rented a pontoon boat for the day, which was super fun for our adult children and in-laws! Though the property didn’t have lakefront access, it had a nice yard for corn hole and a big deck to enjoy. Plenty of space for 10 adults. Melissa was very helpful in instructing us how to reset the water pump several times and was always responsive. I would definitely recommend this home!

The house was in a great location. It was listed as a 4 bedroom, but it actually was a 3 bedroom with a loft. A clean, large common area. A cleaning fee was in the rental price, but the owner left a list of things to clean before we checked out. We always leave a house clean. I did not follow the list.

Came with extended family, and the house was perfect for our stay- the pictures don't do it justice. The home owners were very responsive when a question arrived, and there were many vineyards within a 15 minute drive!

The property was perfect for a large group and couldn’t have been easier to check in/check out. Super close to the wineries on the lake and the view from the balcony was amazing. Would definitely return!

I stayed here with a few of my friends. The house is spacious and clean with a great deck for entertaining. The house does not have lake access, but a lovely view from the main area and some of the bedrooms. The A/C in the living room kept the house quite cool, but a fan may be helpful for anyone sleeping in the loft area in the summer. The house is a short drive from terrific wineries and breweries. Check-in was a breeze. Melissa was a wonderful host. Would definitely stay there again!

We loved the deck and the spacious floor plan that allowed for quality time without being on top of each other. It was a little difficult to find the trail to the land trust but worth it when we did. Highly recommend!

We brought food to grill but ended up having to make it all in the kitchen instead. Also, the fire alarm wouldn't stop going off, even though there was nothing in the air. Beautiful home on Cayuga Lake. Very accessible to wineries nearby and not too far of a drive to those on Seneca Lake. Not too far from hiking destinations in Ithaca and Watkins Glen if you don’t mind a little bit of a drive.

Great location

Melissa was so wonderful to work with. She was communicative in the months leading up to our visit and continued to be accessible during our time in Ovid. The pictures of this home don’t do it justice - it is just magnificent and so well maintained! Our party particularly appreciated the deck furniture where we admired the naturally framed view of the lake. The community was just charming, too. The main town is only a ten minute drive from the house and we were so appreciative of the pleasant folks we met there. I highly recommend Melissa as a host and hope to visit her home again!

Beautiful house in a great location. Just minutes in either direction to wineries on Cayuga Lake. Very quiet and private property.

We absolutely loved this location! It was even nicer/more spacious than we expected based on the photos. We easily (and comfortably) fit 12 girls. The kitchen was well stocked with all gadgets and cooking accessories which made it easy to make a couple of meals right at the house. Melissa was extremely flexible and accommodating. Many of us had never been to the Finger Lakes, we were blown away by our beautiful and serene surroundings. Starting our Saturday morning with coffee on the back deck over looking the lake was perfect. I would absolutely recommend this space, especially for a larger group! Thanks for helping to make our special weekend complete.

We stayed here for a bachelorette party weekend. The house was nice, spacious, and perfectly located for our needs. We took a wine boat tour which was very closely located to the house. And it was about 25 minutes from Ithaca where we had dinner and some nightlife. The house itself is conveniently located right on the strip where many wineries are. Close to the town center where there were eateries. A little peek through the trees at the lake but we spent a whole day on the lake so we didnt really need a large view of it from home. Melissa was very good at responding to messages and helped with tips or info about the area. Our only negative comment would be that the house needs more mirrors! We had too many girls trying to get ready at the same time in the only 3 mirrors! So I'd that's all we can complain about, I would say it was a great experience that we will remember forever!!!
