Excellent house

This house was great for our family. We visited friends nearby, did wine tastings, walked to get amazing food, visited UCSB, and of course stopped by Ostrichland. Perfect for our family of four (two adults and two teens).

We were thrilled with the spaciousness of this rental, which comfortably accommodated our three families for our 5-night stay. The master bedroom was particularly impressive, boasting a huge closet and attached bath. Similarly, the additional two bedrooms each attaching to another bath made this home an ideal space for our family. The beds were comfortable and the entire house was impeccably clean. Our time at the property was further enhanced by the well-maintained jacuzzi, which we made good use of throughout our stay. Though we thoroughly enjoyed preparing meals in the house, we did encounter a few challenges with the kitchen supplies. There were minor issues such as a non-functional can opener, a limited selection of food storage containers, and an incorrect size of coffee filters. Additionally, the cookware showed signs of wear and could benefit from replacement. One consideration for families with young children: the home did not include items such as a highchair or pack and play, which may be worth noting for those planning a stay with little ones. Our dog also had a great area to relax in. The provided check-in instructions were clear and detailed, ensuring a smooth arrival process. The location of the property was phenomenal—just one block away from the main street, offering easy access to the local attractions and restaurants, while still maintaining a peaceful atmosphere away from the commotion. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would recommend to others.

The house was terrific. Great layout, immaculate and in a perfect location. Easy communication with the host. Will be our go to place on Solvang.

Great place in a great location!

Location was perfect! Early morning walks to the bakery for fresh Danish pastries and lattes was a favorite way to begin the day. The home has a nice size kitchen with dinning table for family meals or game time. The gas fireplaces, one in master suite and one in living room, is a nice treat for taking off the morning or evening chill. Although the two-story home is clean, quiet, and in the perfect location, it’s important to keep in mind for those that have trouble climbing stairs that all bedrooms are upstairs.

This house was in the best location. 1 block from the main drag. Very walkable to shops and restaurants. The house was very comfortable and fully equipped. We had a ladies weekend celebrating a 50th birthday and it was absolutely perfect!

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay. The property was as advertised and the location was perfect. Our only wish was that the jacuzzi could have been a little warmer. Other than that, the 4 of us had a great time catching up and exploring Solvang. Would highly recommend!

Had a great time in a beautiful town. Home was clean and very comfortable.

Try to make a family girl's "get-away" once a year. This Solvang home was truly wonderful in every way, clean, convenient, restful, and very close to the downtown area. There are a few inside steps and a stairway that might not be best suited for older people with balance issues. Otherwise - it is great.

We had an amazing

The property was beautiful, spacious and as described. The close proximity to the town made everything in walking distance. Communication with the hosts was simple and readily available. I only wished that the garage was a few inches deeper to fit my mid-sized suv. However, a dedicated parking spot was available right outside the front door and the property is gated. I hope to return here soon. I highly recommend this host and property!

The house was walking distance from the city and the main shopping stores. It was clean and had room enough for all 8 members in my party.

The property was so clean, very cozy and feeling of being at home. Our family stayed with our in laws and had such a great time. Location is perfect for walking everywhere and feeling in be midst of things going on in Solvang. What a lovely home, we look forward to staying there again next year.

The property was very nice. The bedrooms are upstairs, which I hadn't noticed in the posting. Would have liked to have known ahead of time. Nicely decorated interior. Very walkable if you want to spend time in Solvang and a lovely drive to the many, many wineries in the area. Nice large kitchen and eating area. My only comment would be that other rentals I have stayed in have books and games in the property. There are none here. Also, a full length mirror somewhere in the property would be great. But really a lovely place to stay.

The property was ideal for a long weekend with friends - close to dining and wine tasting (within walking distance) and everything else Solvang has to offer but suitably quiet for lounging. Highly recommended!

Very nice

From booking to checkout, everything was top-notch. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. Love the location within walking distance of Solvang shops, restaurants, etc. and all of the attractions in the Santa Ynez area.

The condo was perfect for our friends and family! We rented three and hung out in the courtyard. The gated area was great for our dogs also.

Property was clean, roomy with good amenities. In addition to nearby wineries by car, Solvang has many you can walk to.

We had a fantastic time.

Purpose for trip was to get away from Santa Maria neighborhoods for July 4th fireworks. Booked this property which had fenced yard for my pugs…...what I didn’t know was how close I would be to enchanting Solvang, shopping, parade and eateries. I hit paydirt!!! Condo is simply stunning, warm, cozy, full of all amenities……hope to go back next year……absolute perfection 😉
