This home is in a perfect location to beautiful beaches and plenty of places to hike. There are also many shops and restaurants nearby, although it would definitely be recommended that you have a rental car. The layout of the home worked out very well for our family of 9 and had all the amenities we all needed. Many thanks to Evan, the property manager, for his attentiveness to our needs, his helpfulness with suggestions, and knowledge of the area. Kaua’i is now our favorite Hawaiian island!

My brother and I stayed here with my mom to celebrate her 80th. It was wonderful. I love the deck and Lanai. We probably stayed the majority of our home time there. The pool was perfect and used frequently after each adventure. The place was clean and Evan was really helpful and welcoming. Perfect place for a family to hang out.

This family friendly home does not disappoint! Ning, the owner, and Evan, the property manager, went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. The house is well stocked and you will not lack supplies for the kids! The deck was great and the kids loved the pool. (It is small and 3 ft deep, perfect for our kiddos!) Hesitating? Don’t! Book it now! We truly hated to leave!

Our family (8 adults) stayed for a week in May 2024. The home has lots of space inside and a large deck with a gorgeous view of the mountains and convenient location as promised. This was all very positive and we loved it. The only negatives were that the pool is very small (more of a plunge pool) and the home is generally out of date in terms of furnishings and up keep. The photos make everything look brand new - it is actually well used.

Was an amazing house to stay in, had all the amenities we needed for a group of 6 + 3 kiddos. Tons of useful gear for beach time, and the pool was great during the baby naps. Can't recommend this house any more.

I tend to do a lot of research and we chose together with those we are traveling with to make sure everyone is in agreement for where we will be staying. Bird of Paradise was the home we chose and we looked at many. I have to tell you we had been planning for probably 1 1/2 yrs for our family to go on a trip to Kauai together. We were looking for the perfect home and this was it! We were not disappointed and were Wow'd by the first site of the house. I can't say enough about how comfortable it was and how well equipped. One of the best things about this house is the balcony goes around the house and is higher than any others around which makes for great views of sunrises and sunsets. It's just a short walk to the beach to view either. It is in the perfect location! You will not be disappointed by this house. Everything about it was just great for our family. The pool was so great for the grandkids and also was one of the deciding factors. Enough room for private times for ourselves as well as together time(mostly) in the fantastic living room with views. At first we had wanted an oceanfront place but we are so glad we decided on the Bird of Paradise with Mountain views and small ocean view. Ming was so nice to work with and Evan was there for anything that was needed, although we didn't need anything, so much there. I just can't say enough about the communication, the ease, the beauty of this place. You will not be disappointed. It was hard to leave <3

We loved this home and its surroundings. It had everything we needed to enjoy Kauai and the beaches- we didn’t have to bring a thing. We loved the view, the walk to nearby beaches, the sunny Lanai and the comfy beds. Evan the house manager was available for any issues or questions and knowledgeable about all there is to go and do. We did a lot of cooking and found the kitchen stocked with everything we needed.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location makes it walkable to a number of places, including Poipu Beach. The house is stocked with everything that you need for an outing to the beach, including things for small children. We enjoyed the pool at the house as well. I highly recommend this property!
