Wonderful property overlooking the water, waves, turtles and sunsets. Quiet relaxing spot close to great beaches. Enjoyed the pool. Had some great meals and restaurants in the area. Really enjoyed our stay.

We highly recommend this condo for a vacation. Parker is great to work with and also provided a lovely welcome gift upon our arrival. We loved the location as it was close to everything. Great beaches and shops and restaurants. The view from this condo is amazing. Every morning around 9am while we were having our coffee on the lanai a group of spinner dolphins would come. About the same time, we would see several sea turtles too. The condo was clean and well stocked for vacation needs. The beds were comfortable.

Location is very close to beaches, restaurants. All the amenities you need are available. Needs better cleaning of drawer, chair in second bedroom etc.

My husband and I stayed 5 nights at Parker’s place, our home base for our Kauai elopement - and what a DREAM of a place it was! While the VRBO pictures sold me on this condo, we were blown away by how beautiful it was in person. We didn’t use the guest room bed(s) but it was nice to have the extra room and bathroom. The master bed was SO comfortable, we slept so well every night. Parker was the perfect host, checking in to make sure we had everything we need and including plenty of recommendations on the island. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay on Kauai and will absolutely be back here again!

We could not imagine staying in a more beautiful setting than here. The crashing of the waves, the spray of the waves from hitting the rocks and the magnificent sunsets every night from the deck are unparalleled. It is an older unit, but it is very clear that the owners and property manager are updating it a little bit at a time. I would think that getting a new carpet in the master bedroom would be a pretty high priority. It would also be a good idea to replace the curtains, which are old and spotted. The manager,Parker, could not have been more responsive to handle any of our needs, although there were not many of them. We are already looking into our next stay.

This property is older and is deceiving when you drive up. Our condo 305A has an absolutely spectacular view of the waves crashing Agatha lava rock. No need to go anywhere to see the sunset, right off the balcony is the best there is on island. The bed was comfy in the main master. (I would say the only negative is the 2nd bedroom and bathroom were warm due to no a/c in that area.) The a/c in the other rooms weekend and provided a nice coolness to the hot days. We cooked in most nights and everything was as pictured. I would recommend this condo and look forward to coming again. Kauai at its best!!!!

We stayed at Poipu shores for a week at the beginning of August 2023. The pluses: we had a room that overlooked the ocean, and had a beautiful view. The management team was very responsive to our requests to fix broken things. The unit is well-equipped with cooking supplies. The check-in process was smooth, with help on-site. The minuses: We were vacationing with our infant son. The washer in this unit had black mold on the inside of it, and when we ran a wash cycle, all of his clothes smelled like mold afterwards. The guest bedroom is poorly ventilated and smells terrible, and this smell emanates into the rest of the unit — there is a lot of beach equipment in the closet that I think was not hosed off properly. There is a large exposed hole in the guest bathroom. The closet door in the master bedroom fell off its hinge and onto our baby's crib. The curtains are quite dirty. We would definitely not stay in this unit again unless it had been cleaned thoroughly and all these issues had been fixed.

Everything was wonderful! This was our second year staying that this property and it met all of our expectations and more

I seriously can not say enough about this place, the host and the VIEW! It all started about a month before check in with an email giving some instructions and recommendations. Then a week before with some more instructions. Then the day before with more instructions. Each email was precise and communications were great. After two days there, our host checked in to ask how everything was going and if we needed anything. The view is to die for!! We did not want to leave at sunset and had to be there every night for a breathtaking sunset! They never got old. The place was just as described and had all the amenities that one could ask for...did I mention the view! Clean, well stocked, coffee upon arrival, and check in was a breeze. There are elevators, to help with the luggage. There is a walking trail close by. Shopping, restaurants and activities all close by. The sound of the waves, so relaxing. If you do not like the sound of the waves, do not book this place! Pool area was great as well. Right on the water, turtles and whales could be seen!

This is a very clean and comfortable ocean-front unit with great views of the sunset. There’s plenty of space for four adults, including on the lanai where we enjoyed spotting many whales and turtles. Nice beaches are just an easy walk away. We had most of our meals in the condo and the kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials. There are plenty of towels, a cabinet full of games and plenty of beach equipment. We had no issues whatsoever. Check-in could not have been easier, and about halfway through our stay we got a nice email from Parker and Tom asking whether we needed anything. We hope to come back next year.

If you want a condo that has the most amazing, 180 degree, panoramic view of the ocean, then this is your place! Seriously, pictures cannot do it justice...you must see for yourself! Our favorite place was the balcony: breakfast in the morning and star gazing at night. This condo complex as well as Poipu in general was very quiet which was great for us as we are not looking for nightlife. Many restaurants just a short drive away. If we are lucky enough to return to Kauai, I would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely beautiful, stunning property! The pictures do not do this place justice. The view from the balcony is absolutely unreal and probably one of the most beautiful in Kauai. The only complaint is that the second bedroom (not the master) does not receive direct airflow. Although the apartment has AC units, it is not central AC so the second bedroom does not receive a seat and can get a little bit warm. However, there was a floor fan available and it was tolerable in December. Otherwise, only positive things to say. The apartment was clean, had all the necessary amenities, was perfectly situated, was in walking distance of restaurants, bars, and the beach, and again the view from the balcony is unreal! Highly recommends!

Wonderful views and overall nice property. Issues with dishwasher not working so we had to clean everything by hand and no TV working at all for news, etc. Microwave also did not work for 1 1/2 days until it got fixed. Whales breeching in the ocean off the Lania were fantastic viewing. Police showed up one night at unit next door with an apparent wellness check with a man/woman dispute as lady screamed in terror a couple of times. Other than these issues and difficult parking it was nice.

The view is stunning. It’s the first thing you see walking in. It was such a relaxing environment to sit on the patio or living room and enjoy the view.

Parker’s condo was the perfect choice for our first trip to Kauai. He gave us great suggestions for activities and restaurants in advance, and the check-in process was a breeze. The condo was immaculate and comfortable, and its position overlooking the ocean made for enjoyable mornings and evenings on the lanai. We explored the whole island, but the South Shore is the place to be. When we return to Kauai, Poipu Shores is where we’ll stay. Mahalo, Parker, for a memorable experience.

We loved our stay here. I have only 2 very strong suggestions. 1.) 2nd bedroom in back NEEDS to be air conditioned. It can be quite oppressive when trying to sleep and it’s 80 degrees or higher. 2.) Need more than 2 normal sized coffee mugs. The micro coffee cups are worthless unless you have an espresso machine. The carpet is a little 90’s and I’d spend the money to replace with hard surfaces. It holds dirt and smells. As much as housekeeping tries.

The views from this condo are breathtaking! We enjoyed spending time sitting on the lanai watching the ocean splash against the rocky coastline. We had dinner and a show each evening! Watching the turtles swim around the rocky outcroppings was a delight to see. Watching the sunsets from the lanai as well as being able to see the stars clearly at night was amazing! The condo is clean and well furnished. A lot of attention has gone into this unit. Kitchen is well stocked and ready for you to prepare some meals. We would definitely stay here again.

What an amazing place! Right on ocean cliffs with amazing views. Our evening activity was watching the sunset. A rainbow greeted us for breakfast. Kitchen well stocked for simple meals. Comfy furniture. Great community pool. If I had to list something that could be improved it would be the tight parking situation (which is not in the owner's control). We were so sad to leave!

I really wanted to give this a 5 star review bc you cannot beat the location and view from the balcony. The host was awesome too, giving lots of helpful information and making the check in process a breeze. Unfortunately I felt that the cleanliness of the unit wasn't as good as I'd expect, especially with the expensive cleaning fee we're charged. The washing machine had black mold inside of it, master carpet is in dire need of replacing, I found something in the bedside table from a previous guest that I really wish I didn't see (yuck), and the cabinets were sticky and needed a good cleaning. Also, new sheets are definitely needed. Other than my issues with cleaning, this condo is right on the beach with a beautiful lawn, super short walk to Poipu beach, and if you leave the windows open you'll hear the waves all night.

The kitchen was nicely stocked with everything we needed. The starter coffee was a great touch! The bathrooms are stocked with plenty of towels, soap, etc. Check in was super easy. We arrived on a Saturday and the office was closed so we could not get the parking permit. They left a note on our car with a number to call and info needed and the parking pass was delivered that day. The second bedroom does not have a/c, but my teen daughters didn’t seem to care. 😊There is a very nice fan in the condo and we just started the a/c early in the main living space and tried to pull some cooler air in the bedroom. No biggie! Really a well taken care of condo, easy drive to restaurants. Walking distance to 2 beaches & a truly AMAZING balcony/view. I wish I could post the picture of the double rainbow we saw one morning. 🌈🌈 I would definitely stay here again if my vacation plans take me back to Kauai.
