this is a wonderfully equipped property with the most fabulous views. easy and extremely close beach access and a wrap around lanai that offers both sun and shade for whale watching and dining. the owners are communicative, accomodating and a pleasure to work with. we book this unit every year.

The location of this condo is hard to beat. You are steps from Kaanapali Beach and Whalers Village. If you want to stay somewhere that doesn't require a car, this is it. The condo is a corner unit, and the lanai wraps around both sides, giving a lot of extra space. Some beach chairs, snorkeling equipment and noodles were available at the unit. Watching the sunset every night was incredible. The condo was clean and tastefully decorated. It was very quiet and you have air conditioner thermostats in each room which was perfect for us. The kitchen had everything we needed, but the oven seemed to take a long time to heat. Very few kitchen pantry items were in the condo. Typically, I find that vacation rental homes have lots of spices and at least one bottle of oil. There was a sesame oil bottle with maybe 1/4 cup remaining, some salt, pepper, paprika and lemon pepper. Be prepared to bring your own spices, oil and coffee. There is coffee at the pool that you can get, but it wasn't very good. For the price of the stay ($29,000 after all the fees and taxes added), we were surprised that there wasn't coffee provided. Also, 4 rolls of toilet paper were provided for a 2-week stay for 3 people. I called the management company who informed me that they would not restock toilet paper. These are such simple things that made me scratch my head and wonder why these basics were not provided or restocked.

This unit is a diamond in the rough. Like undiscovered gold, I’m always hesitant to share a review, we will be back often.

It’s unfortunate VRBO only has 5 stars…because this rental deserves more!!! Truly the BEST rental at the WHALER..I shouldn’t say how awesome because I want this place next time I visit Maui…The location of the rental itself is amazing literally steps to the left and you have all the restaurants and shops of Whalers Village..Stepping forward you have a beautiful BEACH..steps to the right you have a pool and jacuzzi..(not to worry though the pool~jacuzzi are out of the way enough you don’t have any noise..) The owners of this unit have thought of EVERYTHING..plenty of beach “stuff” as well..ohhhh and that view…GORGEOUS in every direction.. Parking super convenient…Please though if you are fortunate enough to stay here, take excellent care of it.Because, like I said the owners have really put a lot of thought and I can only imagine a vault full of money into this HOME..

We loved the property and the location. Furnishings and finishes are high end and well maintained. Location is so convenient to stores, snorkeling and restaurants. We’d stay here again anytime and highly recommend to family and friends.

My husband and I rented this unit to spend some quality time together . We have been feeling stressed about some impeding family decisions we need to make . The tine we spent in this beautiful unit is just what we needed . Everything we wanted and needed was provided . The view , the sound of the ocean and the amenities of the unit were perfect . We feel so grateful we were able to spend a week in paradise and we hope to visit again .

You could not ask for more, close to everything Ocean, whales,Shopping and great food we did not have to walk any more than 300 feet to get anything. We cant wait to go back.

Second time we’ve stayed at this location. Love the upgrades that have been done. Sitting on the Lanai in the am and pm is amazing. Ability to get to the beach in seconds is awesome as well. Thank you!
