Our family of 5 adults had lots of space in this home and would highly recommend it. Has everything you need, including a fully stocked kitchen. Location is a close drive to most everything in town and the view of the bay is amazing. Patty was a great host and very accommodating.

The house is exquisite, it literally looks like a museum of beautiful Native Alaskan artwork, both historic and somewhat modern, artworks and sculptures from worldly travel, and fine furniture pieces, both old and new that have been collected and placed throughout the house. There is a fully stocked gourmet kitchen, chock full of very high end kitchen appliances and utensils, as well as very nice plates, utensils and glassware. It could not be nicer! That is the plus side; for the opposite point of view, if you intend to bring a family or two of exuberant kids or active sportspeople, stay away unless you’re prepared to tiptoe around trying to not break anything or keep things spotless. There seem to be no end to the rules posted on the whiteboard in the kitchen, written in multiple pages in a binder in the dining area, and in post-it notes placed throughout the house. Don’t get me wrong, if that’s your cup of tea, as I said, it could not be nicer, seriously. But if you’re what I imagine to be the typical visitor to the Halibut Fishingaway Capital of the World, with all the various outdoor sporting activities, you’re better passing this one by.

This home was all and more than was promised. If available, we would certainly recommend it in the future. Sandhill cranes and rabbits in the yard and a view that you would die for.

Wonderful spot in Homer. Property was very clean and had everything we needed for a few night stay. Loved the space and multiple bedrooms/beds for a group of friends. It's a short distance to town and overall a lovely spot to stay!

Patty was a great host. Everything we needed was in the house. Modern appliances, comfortable clean bedding, comfortable clean bathrooms. Plenty of furniture and amenities. The views were stunning. Very easy as a homebase for a vacation in Homer. Six guys on a fishing trip and adventure trip it was the perfect house. Awesome host. Thank you Patty for making an Alaskan adventure very memorable.

We stayed here as a large extended family for a wedding and we loved our accommodations! The house is pleasant with plenty of space and killer views. The kids loved playing in the beautiful yard. We especially appreciated the abundance of kitchen tools and ingredients, which made it easy for us to prepare our own meals. Plenty of towels, etc. are provided as well - anything you could need to be comfortable! Patty is an excellent communicator and both check-in and -out were smooth and easy. Thank you Patty for your gracious hospitality to us! We know where we're staying if we come back!
