We brought a sailing team and the house was perfect (just as described). We had great space, the kids enjoyed the pool and the host was quick to respond to any of our questions. Great ten minute ride to the Houston Yacht Club and any amenities needed were no more than 15-20 minutes away

We loved it there we sat on the porch and watched the cargo ships go by and could walk to the beach very nice

Family girls get away and this property provided privacy and security with a great view. Was conveniently located only 2 miles from the sister we came to see. Very clean, comfy beds and furniture. Beautiful secure area for walking. the backyard would be great with summer weather. Better than showed on VRBO. Thank you Michelle

House was very easy to find. It was very cozy, we really enjoyed our time there. The kitchen was like being at home with everything needed, so we were cooking our own breakfast. We had a good time. We would stay definitely stay there again.

This was perfect for a weekend getaway. House has everything, is in great shape, and the mattress (esp master bed) literally most comfortable I’ve ever slept in! There is a fun, pretty public beach and park a block away (Sylvan Beach Park) and another waterfront park (no beach) right across the street giving the place a great bay view. Close enough to the beach “scene” but far enough away to be nice and quiet. The pool was PERFECT. Loved it and hope to come back!

Loved the home. Decorated nicely in soothing beach tones. Across the street from park, beach and fishing pier. The above ground pool in the back yard was perfect for sunning and relaxing. Owner was very accommodating and understanding. Kemah is only 30 min away. We really enjoyed our stay.

This house was our summer getaway, and we were not disappointed. It was absolutely adorable! The sunroom was everyone's favorite and we ate all of our meals there. The house was incredibly clean and in a great location. My niece loved having a playground within walking distance and she enjoyed the pool. Michelle was a wonderful host, too! Whenever we had any questions, she was quick to respond. She even removed the ladder from the pool because we had a young child with us. That was really awesome because most people wouldn't even think of that! She even left treats in the kitchen (which was well stocked by the way). The beds were comfy and the water got super hot. If you did happen to forget anything, there were grocery stores less than 5 minutes away. We were there over the 4th of July holiday and was planning on driving to Kemah to see fireworks. It turns out, La Porte had their own and it was on the beach! Being right across the street from it, all we had to do was step outside and we saw everything!! I woiuld certainly recommend this house for a small family that needs a nice place to get a breather. Check it out!!

We had a great stay at this property! Michelle was great and answering questions and responding quickly. We loved the beds, they were very comfortable and we slept great. The front sun room is great for a quiet place to hang out. If we travel back to La Porte, I would definitely rent this house again!

Casita Azul was just wonderful! It was our first time to Laporte & being right across from the bay was so relaxing. We loved the seating on the deck & sitting on the glider on the front porch was also a favorite spot! Being walking distance to the beach and playground was great! The house was very clean & nicely decorated. All the comforts of home and more! We made many fun memories with our family & I hope that we can return next year⚓️

We've stayed in the past and this experience was just as seamless as the last. Very convenient for the area. Just across the street from the beach. Ample parking and amenities. Even has a pool!! Can't wait til the next trip.

A trip away during our son’s spring break was very important since our last trip was right before the world stopped. Casita Azul was perfect for us and the timing was great because no one else was on break. We had the beach to ourselves. It was too cold to swim but we spent hours on the beach reading. Michelle has everything you would want. There were beach towels, a beach bag, beach umbrella, beach toys. Just bring the food you plan to eat, what you plan to drink and a cooler to take to the shore. She not only has ice but refreezeable packs to keep stuff cold. My son and I used those when we went fishing. Our 15-year-old loved the skate park. We enjoyed nights by the fire pit and mornings eating breakfast in the sun room. The little touches made this a wonderful escape, which we desperately needed.

All the extras were very thoughtful. The bedrooms and living space was very comfortable enough towels and blankets. The outdoor fire pit and BBQ space was perfect for us. The front porch was nice to relax in and play games. Close to shopping but, on a quiet road and close to Sylvan Beach Park walking distance. We had a really nice time and felt safe.
