We had a great stay at The Barn. It is a short distance to JMU. The house is very clean and updated. We will rent again!

We had a fun time staying at the "Red Barn". The property was clean and centrally located to all things Massanutten. My kids loved the foosball table and we had a family tournament. There is plenty of space to spread out when we needed to chill.

We stayed there to celebrate my 7yo granddaughter's birthday at Massanutten Waterpark. First, I researched many properties. This property offered the best price for what we got and was very close to the waterpark. Second, communication with owner could not have been better. Very friendly, very quick, very responsive. Third, the playroom was such a hit with my grandchildren (7 & 10). They really wanted to sleep in the built-in bunkbeds, but they played so much they fell asleep both nights in the playroom and never made it to a bed! My grandson was elated to see different wildlife animals right outside the door each day. We absolutely would stay there again. Two nights wasn't nearly long enough for any of us.

My family had a great time at this house! It was the perfect size home for our group. The master was big enough for us, our toddler, and baby to share while our grandmother, parents, and sister enjoyed the other rooms. The play space in the basement was ideal for our kids, they had a blast! We loved that the host provided lots of baby things for us (pack and play, highchair, baby gate). They thought of everything to make traveling with kids easier. On our 2nd day at the house a fawn bedded down right under the deck, it was so sweet! Just a note to future travelers- bring dishwasher detergent with you & perhaps camp chairs to enjoy the deck.

We had a wonderful time at this clean, accurately-described cabin on Massanutten Resort. The dining options, activities, and nearby hikes made it so we never had to leave the campus for the whole week. Our kids loved the stocked playroom (probably best for ages 1 - 8) and gave us parents a break from constantly inventing some new game to entertain the kids. Outside the cabin, everyone enjoyed the nearby indoor water park, the petting zoo, and the various playgrounds and nature trails. We'll definitely be back!

We needed a family-friendly place to bring two families with children together. This place was perfect for everyone! The playroom was such a nice feature. The owners were very responsive to messaging leading up to the trip. We didn’t face any issues at the property.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Barn. Our kids loved the playroom and we loved the house. The area also had a lot of great activities.

I took my mother and my two sons (8 & 12) here for a quick getaway before school started. The house is easy to find, clean, quiet, well-appointed, and had enough space for a relaxing and comfortable stay for everyone. Check-in couldn’t have been easier, and we had all the information we needed right from the beginning. I was specifically looking for something pretty accessible for my mom, and this was perfect. Just a few steps down from the driveway to the entry door (although l would suggest adding a handrail there to really make it easy), and a bedroom for her on the main level close to the bathroom. My kids had a blast playing downstairs, and with the adorable bunk room down there, had their own fun living space. Love the open-plan kitchen/dining/living area too. We enjoyed some of the amenities at Massanutten, but were also convenient to Luray and other attractions. We’ll be back!
