My husband and I along with several family members who visited enjoyed our 13 day stay! The views are beautiful and the accommodations clean and comfortable! We’ve already booked to come back in October and can’t wait.

This was the perfect spot to celebrate both an ASU graduation and Mother’s Day. I have learned over the years that staying in Boone during graduation and move-out weekend can be awful. This cabin was close enough to get everywhere we needed in a decent amount of time but also extremely quiet and calm. Bonus - we were able to see the rare northern lights while we were there!

Beautiful mountain cabin with attention to every detail. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The backyard view is simply breathtaking. There was so much to do and see in the area. Thank you for the beautiful family memories.

We go to blowing rock a couple times a year and this cabin was perfect in every way! Great location, very clean, well stocked and so comfortable; not to mention the pictures don’t do the incredible views justice! The owner was very responsive and provided every detail needed for an easy stay! We will definitely be back!!

The cabin was clean and everything was accurate that was described in the listing. However, we were disappointed by the nonstop rain, which prevented us from enjoying the deck in the fire pit. The clouds and fog were also thick. We did enjoy rest indoors by the fireplace. Hoping for better summer weather next time!

Cabin was terrific — clean and cozy. Gorgeous views with an amazing fire pit. Lisa was amazing anytime we had a question. My wife and son loved it and we will be back. Highly recommend the property!

The cabin was all and more than we expected. Lisa was quick to answer our calls and helpmus trouble shoot the fireplace. The mattresses, pillows , sheets and towels were one on the real luxuries we got with this cabin. Weall commented on the good night sleep we got. The scenery, decor and location was perfect for us.We will we renting this cabin or other rentals from Lisa.

We just spent 3 nights in this wonderful cabin which has modern amenities and an old mountain feel to it. We cooked a couple of meals in the fully stocked kitchen and did not long for anything. The smart TV's and uber comfortable beds made the evenings appreciated, the firepit, view and trees perfect for our hammock made for a perfect Friday afternoon/night.
Lisa was perfect, followed up with us and made us feel very welcome. We will visit again!

What a beautiful property with a stunning view! Everything was clean, comfortable, and cozy, exactly as advertised. My husband especially loved the grill. It was conveniently located to all the area has to offer and the perfect place to relax at the end of the day. We are definitely staying here next time!

I have been staying in the mountains for many years for winter vacation. I can tell you I’ve never stayed in a place with such an amazing view! The cabin is exactly as described. It’s a very cute, clean cabin with everything you need. Perfect for a couple ir family. We will be coming back.

We absolutely loved this cozy cabin!! It was a perfect set up for our family! It was so clean and had everything we needed! Lisa and Paul are awesome!! So responsive and helpful!! The views are amazing from the front deck! Great fenced in yard for dogs! It was the perfect place for our Christmas vacation!! Loved how close it is to downtown Blowing Rock as well!!

Our family loved this property! Super clean and stocked. Very accessible to downtown Blowing Rock, but still felt remote. The view is amazing! Would love to return for another stay!

I wanted a few days for my family and I to experience the mountains and the town of Blowing Rock. Our choice for the Elk Cabin in Apple Ridge was so nice. We were so excited to not only have a gorgeous view from our place but the cabin was so pretty and clean and even decorated for the holidays. All we needed was there and this rental exceeded our expectations. We would love to come again next year. Thank you for providing such an outstanding experience!!!

Beautiful view of the mountains from the fire pit!
The weather was amazing and we had our Thanksgiving dinner outside on the deck.
The cabin was spotless and cozy and well equipped. Can’t wait to return next year! This place is a keeper.

Spotlessly clean, all as represented,, great connectivity, and this cabin has the most incredible views of any mountain rental we have ever had. But what elevates this rental from excellent to superb is the owner/manager LIsa Harris, who is a joy, and is instantly accessible for any question or problem. Renting does not get any better than this, and we have rented all over.

Best mountain cabin
During the covid years we've stayed at a number of rental homes. This one was the best by far. Clean. Comfortable bed and furniture. Beautiful view of the mountains from the deck. Kitchen that was easy to use. All this only a few miles from the restaurants and coffee shops of Blowing Rock. Thank you Lisa for a marvelous week in Blowing Rock!

Fantastic views and great location. Cabin is clean and well furnished.
This cabin is great for two persons or 6 person family. We loved the early morning coffee on the deck and the evening fires at the outside fire pit. The cabin was clean and exceptionally furnished for a comfortable stay. We stayed one week in April 2022.

It was an unseasonably cold weekend in the NC mountains and the cabin stayed nice and warm. The firepit in back looking out over the mountains is great. Super easy to get to, but feels pretty away from it all. It was really nice to have all of the basics on hand at the cabin when we arrived. I would highly recommend.

Best place to stay in Blowing Rock!
We have stayed here multiple times and always return! It is a beautiful, clean cabin that works very well for our family, including our dog! Close to everything! Communicating with the property owner is always prompt and pleasant. We will definitely be back!

Awesome Place, beautiful views
There was just the 2 of us so we really didn't need to take advantage of the downstairs, which would be great for larger groups/families etc.. The space was spotless. Great location, easy access to everything. There is a house nearby that is in view and makes it not completely private. This does not show in the photos. Turns out nobody was staying there anyway, and for most people would not be a factor, as you still have your space. The firepit was awesome and the views are wonderful. You will hear the road a little. And watch your head on the hood above the stove. We like to cook and it was a factor, to contend with.
