This was a great place to stay with my friends for my birthday! Beautiful ocean views and close proximity to everything. Would certainly recommend this for a small group.

Wonderful stay at this beautiful little coastal cottage!! The house was perfect and location couldn’t be better!! We rented a golf cart for evening rides, trips to the pools and the resort restaurants. Reserved beach chairs and umbrella right out front of property. Owner was very communicative and helpful! Perfect getaway!

This house has amazing views and a great location. The house needs some work. The pocket doors don’t lock or shut all the way. We were staying with our teenagers and they wanted their privacy. Their door would not lock or stay shut. Cabinets throughout are chipped and worn. The bedrooms are very close together and small. There was no privacy. It may have been listed in the write up of the house but I don’t think I had a true sense of how small a carriage house was. Master shower head had some issues but we figured out a way to make it work. The view and location are 5 out of 5. This is what you are paying for.

Spectacular view. Great location. Beautifully decorated. Nice that we could share our vacation with our dog. Perfect accommodations and size for a couple or family with small children.

The house was dirty; the cable wasn’t working for the first 4 days of our stay; there was mildew on the upstairs ceiling; white woodwork/doors/cabinetry badly chipped. The entry/lower level, where the beds and both bathrooms were located, had no windows that opened so lack of fresh air was an issue— it was cold and damp. Cabinet doors were warped, drawers wouldn’t close. Disappointing….

We have been coming to 30-A longer than most... 16 years now. We've seen the good and the bad of rapid growth in that area and have stayed up and down the coast from Carillon Beach to Seacrest, WaterSound, Seagrove/Seaside, and Gratyon. Positives: This house has the perfect location with ocean views. We were in our chairs on the beach within a minute of leaving the front door. So many of the beaches up and down 30-A are extremely busy and crowded. We felt many times that we had our own private beach. The fake grass around the house was really nice. Carillon is also quiet and secluded and a gated community. The pools were incredible... one right on the ocean and 2 others in the community (all within walking distance). You are also less than a mile from on of the largest Publix around (don't get me started on the one on 395 heading into Seaside/Seagrove). Great staff at the gates and so much rest on this trip. Negatives: The pictures online are a little misleading. This is not a "house"... it is more of a bungalow. Luckily, we made it work. If you have 1-2 kids younger than 3 or older than 9 this will not be a fun trip... there is no space in this home for privacy... so be prepared for it. The pocket doors did not latch on the kids bunk room so as soon as the dog woke up or we walked out of the room, everyone was up. The towels and sheets were not comfortable and had some stains. The porch cushions had dog hair and stains on them from a previous rental. There were gnats everyone upstairs. The front porch fan did not work so you lost that outlet to enjoy. The TV in the master was an outdated JVC that had no connectivity. The back porch handle was broken (property manager notified on many of these things but nothing was able to be fixed during our stay). The knives in the kitchen, along with the pots and pans are subpar. NOTE: there is no trashcan in the kitchen... be prepared to fill up grocery bags of trash and carry it out to the trashcans multiple times a day. There was not a single broom in the entire house so once the sand comes in there is nothing to do about it. The pictures online look like you have a gated/contained yard for a pet which is not true. You are paying for location and direct beach access. And yes, it was amazing. But, the lack of small touches, comforts, and general things that should be given or supplied for a price like this was clearly not there. We won't be coming back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home. The Carillon neighborhood is a charming beachside community and less crowded than 30A, which we loved. The home was super clean and well appointed. Exceptional and a rare find!

This home was perfect fore our 4 day stay. It is very well appointed and conveniently located. We will definitely book this again. The owner was very accommodating and answered our questions in a timely manner.

Thanks again for the wonderful place to stay. Would recommend to anyone. Super convenient location. Definitely planning on coming back.

The location and the neighborhood and the beach were all wonderful. The house was fairly clean. The outside shower was filled with junkSo we had to clean it up to be able to use it.

Beautiful house with nice views of the beach. There is a vacant lot with overgrown bushes directly in front of the house so the house is not directly on the beach front. The walkover to the beach is next to the house. The cushions on the front and back decks were very old, (the purchase tag from one of the cushions was so old, the words were not visible and the tag was frayed) soiled, and not clean at all. Not what I expected for what we paid for the week. Throw cushions on sofas had a bad odor. There are two nice bedrooms , built-in bunkbeds and a king bed. The 3rd bedroom appeared to be a glassed-in porch with a trundle bed and barely room to walk. It is not a full bedroom with maybe a 10”x10” table. There is only one closest in the house which is also a storage room. The positives were the upstairs area, large windows and a nice kitchen. The negatives were lack of closet space and soiled deck cushions.

This was our 2nd stay and we already have 2 more weeks booked for next year. Place is perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 younger kids). House has been clean both times with everything in working order. Communication has always been great. Can’t beat the views of the front and back patios. We look forward to many more trips here

We absolutely loved our time at this property. It’s beautifully decorated, perfectly clean, and had had quality linens/towels/mattresses to keep us comfortable. The location is spectacular. As an avid cook, I appreciated the well-stocked kitchen. It had everything I needed to cook dinners for our family. The neighborhood felt very safe for our kids to play and wander. Everything was family friendly and we can’t wait to come back! If we needed anything, it was handled quickly. Thanks, William!

We loved our first stay in Slice of Heaven. We are a family of 4 with 2 young children. The layout was perfect for needs. The living upstairs was great and we loved spending our times relaxing in the house on the front or back balconies enjoying the waves or watching the different things going on in the neighborhood. You can't beat being right by a walkover for quick access to the beach and having the backyard to keep our beach things and quickly clean up after returning was great. We look forward to our second trip here in July and plan to return next Spring Break as well.

We have a family with 2 small kids and found this to be the perfect spot! Literally couldn’t get closer to the beach access so much so we didn’t feel required to bring a day’s worth of supplies to stay on the beach with easy access and beach chairs and a quick walk to replenish snacks. There was enough space for us and our kids and being able to watch/ hear the waves in the morning/ evenings was worth it.

We love Carillon and Slice of Heaven was the perfect house for our family. Beautiful home with all the amenities we needed. We will definitely make plans to stay again.

A very cute beach front cottage with amazing views. Perfect for a couple or a small family. The bed is very comfy! The owner is very prompt in responding to questions.

We had a wonderful stay at Slice of Heaven! You can’t get a better location- safe neighborhood, easy access to stores/restaurants and just a short stroll to the beach. The view of the ocean from our patio was a delight in the morning with a cup of coffee. We would definitely stay here again and a huge thanks to Bill for letting us bring our pups.

We love Slice if Heaven! We had a service issue this time and Helen got it fixed right away! And the repair person was so courteous and efficient!

Attentive owners, excellent location, perfectly stocked to include upscale furnishings with all of the comforts of home - AND THE VIEW! Truly a Slice of Heaven. Cannot wait to return!!
