We had another great weekend at this property. Everything was perfect and we enjoyed the welcome cookies! Looking forward to another stay next year.

Our stay at the Parsonage was great. The house was so clean. Plenty of space for our group. The kitchen was fully equipped with everytbing we need to prepare large meals. The outlet mall is a short walk. There is a local coffee shop just steps away with the most delicious muffins and iced coffees. The beach is a 3 mins drive. We loved everything about this home from its charm right down to how convenient EVERYTHING the town has to offer is. We will defi itelt be back!

Really loved this place to stay. Great location (nearby coffee shops, downtown shopping, access to other nearby cities). Great house and perfect size for our family (5 of us). Communication with the property manager was timely and clear. Highly recommend if you are looking in the Michigan City/Lake Michigan area!

The property was beautiful--plenty of room for the family. The location was perfect, close to the beach, shopping--and the arts district. We ate out and cooked great meals in--stove and grill. Loved Renew consignment shop. It was a wonderful way to spend time with my adult children and grandchild AND celebrating my birthday. The hosts were quick in responding anytime I reached out.

The historic house is quaint and comfortable. There is plenty of space to gather. The well equipped kitchen was great. Each bedroom having its own en suite bath is a plus. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Appears to be in a neighborhood that is improving and renovating.

We had a great stay - the home was in wonderful condition and convenient to food, coffee, the beach and just about everything. Easy parking, nice air conditioning - loved having coffee on the side porch!

We absolutely loved our stay in Michigan City at the Parsonage! The set up of rooms was perfect for our family. It was so comfortable, clean, and in a perfect location! Katie, the owner, checked in with us throughout our stay and was always available if we had any questions. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a place to stay in Michigan City, IN!

Katie was excellent and communicative before and during our stay. Loved the location, which is walkable to the beach. Plenty of shopping if you like that; however the house was perfect for our family as everyone had their own room and bath.

We chose this property initially due to the bedroom and bathroom count so everyone in our group would have their own bedroom and bathroom. An added draw was the convenient and walkable location to pretty much everything. Let me just say that the pictures DO NOT do this house justice!! Upon entering the house we were floored by just how beautiful the house was. Not only was the house itself beautiful, the furnishings and decor complemented this historical house perfectly. Unlike other rentals there wasn’t just a houseful of IKEA furniture just for the sake of filling up the house. The decor at the Parsonage has been carefully curated and placed in a thoughtful manner. Everywhere you looked there was something interesting to see. As a lover of historical homes this was an amazing treat! The bedrooms were well appointed. The beds were so comfy. The jetted tubs were great to come home to after a long day of exploring the area. The kitchen is a cooks dream. Any gadget, cookware, casserole dish that you could want, it’s there! The highlight of our mornings was coffee in the lovely sunroom. This is best rental I have stayed in hands down! Our family loved our stay at the Parsonage and can’t wait to return. *** The hosts were super responsive and accommodating. If we needed anything or had a question regarding the house they responded very quickly. For our trip to the beach the host let us know we could use the beach chairs and cooler that were there at the house.

Wow. Photos don't do this amazing home justice. It is immaculately clean, spacious, warm and comfy. The kitchen has everything so we cooked as a family. We brought our 2 yr old neice so the washing machine was handy. She loved the toys in the "game closet". The bedrooms upstairs were so comfortable. My 86 year old mother, who often has sleep issues, slept soundly. The bathrooms are fabulous with cool jetted tubs. We were only a block from the outlet mall and there is a cool coffee shop nearby. Although we didn't need to go there as the kitchen has a nice coffee maker. And I have to mention the historical beauty of this home. Beautiful woodwork and features. The porch!!! The inner was very responsive and kind. Thumbs up! 👍

The Parsonage is everything we dreamed of and more! It felt like a home away from home, but with sooo many more perks. There is an outlet mall, coffee shops, and plenty of restaurants within just a couple of blocks. It will likely take you longer to pack up the car than it will to drive over and have your feet in the sand! After a long day, you can take a soak in one of the FOUR Jacuzzi tubs. Does it get any better than that?! Katie and Joe have thought of everything while prepping their space for you. I did not "want" for anything during our stay. We look forward to many more stay with them in the years to come.

I love history and felt the house was a unique way to experience Michigan City. Very walkable city with lots of shopping and dining areas within a few blocks in any direction.

My wife and I were looking for a unique, clean property in a quaint town near Lake Michigan not far from Chicago. We found it! The lake and beach are fabulous and it's only an hour to Chicago. The Parsonage has huge charm and would be great for a large group as well as a couple like us.

The unit was better than it appeared in the pictures! It was very clean, well stocked and exceeded our expectations! Also, the owner was very responsive to any questions we had before we arrived. We had a great weekend!

We had the best time! What a cute town. We enjoyed all of Katie's suggestions! Perfect location to eveything. We can't wait to go back! The house is so charming and inviting. Katie was amazing to work with.

Staying at the Patsonage was a great experience! The location was very good for a combination of shopping and heading to the beach. The neighborhood is good for walking, biking, and had several good restaurants within a stone's throw. There is an outlet center just across the street, too. The beach is just a few blocks away. The house itself is so nice and clean - and very large. The four bedrooms are comfortable, each has its own bathroom with whirlpool tubs. Everything is in perfect condition, and the common areas are comfortable. The beds are very comfortable, the bedding is so soft. The neighborhood is very quiet - very little traffic even near the beach and an outlet mall on Labor Day weekend. However, there is the pleasant sound of the occasional train and boat horn in the distance. Both Amtrak and the South Shore line pass close to the house, and the lake boats and draw bridge are nearby. Perfect!

A gem. Charming old world residence with modern conveniences, and an attentive and prompt host. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Everything worked like clockwork, and we had a great family reunion. This home is ideal for such a gathering.

Amazing property! Everything was exactly as described and as shown in the photos. The house has tons of character and lots of space. Katie was great to work with and made sure everything was perfect. This was our first trip to Michigan City, and the Parsonage is in a great location, with lots of interesting shops to walk to just two blocks over. We had two couples and three teenagers and had plenty of room in the house. It was great having an attached bathroom on each bedroom. Lots of seating on the lower level. Overall a really great property if you are looking to visit Michigan City.

Perfect location, and such a beautiful historic home. Would highly recommend this home, we can't wait to go back!
