We came to Florida with our whole extended family. 8 adults, 7 kids (ranging from 3 to 16). And Seagroove could not have been a better choice for us. The screened-in pool, short proximity to Seaside, and just a block away from beach access. It's close enough to be a short walk from anywhere you'd want to eat or shop, but just outside the heavy beach traffic, so there was always room to spread out at the shore. The house itself was nice, well-stocked, and had all the charm and character you could ask for. My favorite part was the fourth-floor crow's nest, with twin hammocks and a beautiful treetop view of the surrounding area. It was the perfect place to doze off as the sun sets, or hang out late at night and watch the stars. Katherine was extremely responsive with any questions we had, and aside from some hit-or-miss weather, it couldn't have been a more perfect week. We'll absolutely be back.

We would highly recommend this property. Big and not fussy! Great pool for smaller children and excellent location! Very easy and shady walk to beach. We walked to Seaside daily. Publix and ice cream only a mile away which was very convenient! Home is very well stocked and owner extremely easy to work with! Grandson left his iPad by mistake and cleaners called owner and then sent to me! Appreciated so much! Would definitely return.

Home was plenty big for our party of 8. Loved having a pool and so close to the beach.

The size is perfect for our large groups and the house is expansive enough to give everyone their own space. Where else can you walk one block to the beach in the morning and one block to fine dining at night? Seaside square is an easy, casual bike ride on the local neighborhood streets. The heated pool is perfect for quick dunks or those who don’t like the ocean. The roof top hammocks are also a favorite way to close out the evening. Cannot say enough good things about this property!!

The location of this property is perfect. It’s close to the beach and the excitement in Seaside square. If you like going to Watercolor or the Square bikes are nice (not required). Plenty of sleeping. The owner responds very quickly.

We had 3 families stay at the house and we really enjoyed it. It is very close to the beach and town center. The owner is very responsive and helpful to work with.

The house was well equipped to deal with a large group. Easy access to the beach. The pool on-site is good for small kiddos. Overall a great experience!

Really like the location of the house it’s very close to the beach but I was away from all the traffic very peaceful

The house was great for our family gathering. My parents, siblings and I with our kids all fit comfortably in the house. It was a nice short walk to the beach and a close walk to ice cream and restaurants. The pool was a nice bonus for the kids who needed a break from all the waves at the beach.

Great rental for group of 14 (3 families). Perfect location one very short block to beach access and short walk to shops at Seaside. Manager was very responsive to questions. House was clean and kitchen was well stocked.

Four Moms bought our high school senior daughters and several of their classmates for their spring break. We had plenty of room and everything we needed!!! Everyone had a great time!! Perfect home and so close to the beach!!

Large house with great proximity to the beach and downtown Seaside. The kiddos loved the heated pool. I have to say that Katherine, the owner, showed us so much GRACE as our flights kept being canceled/delayed/etc with the horrible storms that hit most of the US. We finally made it and everything was great! If you have a large group - there are plenty of rooms and bathrooms! You will enjoy it!

Vacation during a national pandemic can never relax you totally.Of course we were leery, but we were going to be careful .We were, however, we didn’t feel that the clients at Seagrove and other lovely developments were not compliant. There were big beach parties both on and off the beach. Seaside was jammed packed with young, old, and middle age people.The saving grace for us was the private swimming pool and a golf cart rental.The weather at the beginning of our stay was delightful, then there were the rainstorms that churned up the gulf waters. Swimming at that time was banned for three days. Hence the pool and rides in the golf carts. Two of our grandchildren learned to swim this week.The house accommodated 13 of us for sleeping well.Our criticism was of the kitchen and family room, which we felt was too confining for 13. We enjoyed our family reunion in this very comfortable and well furnished home. A great location for walking and biking. The pool was a special bonus for the youngest of the crowd. We would highly recommend this home.

Three families of four shared this beautiful home. Layout was perfect for everyone to have their own space. Kitchen well stocked. Location is a shaded block walk across 30A and then directly onto access to quiet park of beach. Beach was never crowded here unlike a little up the beach to seaside. Easy walk to seaside to enjoy the amenities, would recommend without reservation.

My family and I stayed in the Seagroove house the week of Spring Break 2019. You will enjoy the proximity of this house to the beach (one block) and to Seaside square (1/2 mile). Nestled one street over from 30A, you can enjoy being in the middle of a 30A lifestyle, while appreciating the serenity of a quiet vacation on a seashell road, giving the feel of living (for one week) in the old world Florida coast. The house is well appointed for dinner at home - cooking pans, utensils, and upgraded appliances. The kitchen has been renovated with bar seating for 9 and a farmhouse table seating for 6. The open concept of the kitchen/living room allows for early morning and late evening conversations with your family. Right outside this area is the pool (heated in winter or small charge of $35 day). It is enclosed, so you can enjoy a swim any time without the fear of bugs, leaves in pool, etc. This home has 4 floors. Our family put our older parent in the master bedroom on the main floor, the kids in the second floor bunk rooms, and older teenagers in the second master on the second floor. This floor has two bathrooms. Finally, I (who arranged this vacation) enjoyed the third floor to myself. It is a quiet little oasis on the top floor with a spiral staircase right outside to go to the (outdoor) fourth floor deck. On the fourth floor, enjoy two full sized hammocks, and seating for two more. Catch a glimpse of the ocean or just feel tucked away in the trees as you enjoy the ocean breeze in the air. This was one of my favorite parts of this house, and did not enjoy it nearly enough. There is plenty of room for everyone. Plenty of towels are provided and a washer/dryer is available for the week. If you are looking for the residential-feel, old Florida style, you will love this home. It is not for those looking for a brand new home, where you stand outside your door and see your neighbor, you all look alike, and the busy-ness of life is surrounding you. If you are looking for the perfect, slow-paced, big beach house feel, you will love this place. The road is not paved and this was a true Florida style vacation that I remember when I was a kid. If that’s your style, you’ll never want to leave. We have already talked to the owners about when we can go back. Get back to what your childhood vacations used to be - book the Seagroove house. Such a great home away from home 🙌🏼❤️.

Very accommodating for a large group over spring break. A little wear and tear in the place, but overall a good and comfortable place to stay!

The house is in a great location. It was fun to take our morning walk around the residential area where the home is located. There were so many different and lovely homes to see while walking on quiet streets. We were able to walk to shops, restaurants and most importantly the beach. The house is spacious and has several different areas inside and out where we could gather or seek some quiet and alone time. The beds are comfortable and the house was very clean. I would certainly recommend this home for a lovely beach vacation!

We rented this house for an extended family vacation. 6 adults, 2 teenagers & 2 young children. Plenty of bedrooms for everyone. Each bedroom has a tv. I especially liked that it did not have pullout sofas. The kitchen has upgraded Viking appliances including a gas stove. There is a gas grill on the front porch. Dining room table has benches and can seat 6. Bar counter seats 4. Love the shaded pool. Only a short block walk to the beach. We had a small problem with the poo, called the management company and the serviceman was there that afternooon to fix it. I would highly recommend renting this beautiful house.

Just returned today from a fabulous week at Sea Groove. 3 Adults, 5 teenagers & an 8 year old had more room than we needed. The house was furnished so nicely and the kitchen was fully stocked with anything you would need to cook great meals. Beds were extremely comfortable and everything was very clean. Easy walk to beach & Seaside. The house was definitely a home run to a perfect vacation. Would highly recommend!

We stayed in the house in February and it was warm and sunny all week. The kids loved the pool and even got in the ocean. The house is fabulous with so much space. Beautifully decorated and has everything you need. Rooftop deck is wonderful and so nice with the hammocks. Super easy walk/access to the beach, very short. Also, great short walk/bike ride to Seaside. We were able to lets kids ride bikes and explore on their own there with no worries. Was a great trip with tons to do. Perfect location, lots of space and love the decor! A+++

We enjoyed a wonderful, week long stay with our family and parents. As both my parents grew up on the beaches of Georgia and Florida, this beautiful house, nested in the trees, felt like the old beach town atmosphere of our childhoods. It's a simple, shaded walk to the beach and a quick bicycle ride to the many conveniences and attractions of Seaside and Watercolor. (Not to mention Goatfeathers for some fresh seafood.) The many floor levels and bedrooms make it easy to accomodate kids, parents and grandparents. We took wine and juice up to the top deck every night for sunset. The pool was a welcome retreat from the heat of the beach and mosquitos. We look forward to returning to this wonderful family retreat!

We rented this home in April 2011 with friends. All together there were three families: 6 kids and 7 adults. I wasn't quite sure what to expect but this house turned out to be a real gem and we plan n renting it again next year. It allowed us big family dinners in the kitchen and room for everyone to relax together on the main level, then when anyone needed some time to themselves, the house was big enough to allow you space to get away. Sunsets up on the roof deck were a great way to end the day and the kids were kept happy at the house due to the pool, ping pong and foosball table. One room has 2 sets of bunk beds + 2 trundle beds which the kids immediately claimed as their domain. I was impressed with the furniture, sometimes rental furnishings are clearly decorated with the castoffs from friends and families but the rooms were well appointed. Most importantly the location. It's a leisurely 5 minute walk to the center of Seaside which is absolutely adorable and VERY family friendly. I recommend this house for groups with or without children. There is one bedroom on the main floor. The others are upstairs and the house is a total of 3 floors. So if traveling with someone with bad knees, they'll get the swank bedroom on the first floor, and you'll should call dibs on the master bedroom on the 2nd floor. Both look like their were decorated by an interior designer.
