The apartment and studio had everything we could need, including some basic food items to get us started. Although it is quite a climb up the 114 steps to the accommodation, it is located just outside of the old city of Dubrovnik in a quiet area - with easy access to both the old City and to the path up the mountain to the fort and lookout - if you are inclined to walk up. We found that we soon got used to the steps and even enjoyed them for stretching our legs after a long day of sightseeing! The terrace area is lovely, and there is a very useful clothesline, as well as a washer and dryer for guest use. This is an excellent spot for a large family or small group.

My friends and I stayed in the Passic House finding a relaxing way to end our Interrail and the experience was great. The house is beautiful, the location was great and the owners were so kind to us. Everything was perfect. Hope we come back soon.

The apartment was exactly what was advertised on the website. It easily accommodated the five of us girlfriends with everything we needed. The extra bathroom in the guest house was a definite bonus for five women getting ready in the morning. We loved the views, the easy access to old town and the comfortable sitting areas for all of us to enjoy a nice glass of wine at the end of the day. I am not going to lie, the 110 steps to the apartment was tough on the first day when carrying your large suitcases. This is definitely not for the "old souls". Apartment is well appointed also to ensure your stay is comfortable and the location is amazing, short walk into the old town (down some stairs - fun to navigate with luggage!) and very convenient to a taxi stand when your stay comes to an end.

A kettle would have been useful. We boiled water in a pan. The number of steps to the property must be strongly stated. It would not be suitable for very young or very old. But we loved it.

There's a nice little bakery recommended by Sue across from the cable car which takes approx 10 minutes walk. Laundry can be finished relatively quick and with the Croatian sun dries in a morning.Cons: dishwasher was difficult to work, mosquitos (late june time frame)

The place had everything we needed. It was fully functional, and I would stay here again. Sue is so sweet and thoughtful. She tried to think of everything we needed. Like another reviewer said, I agree that it really could use a good professional cleaning. The basics were clean but there was a lot of dust and cobwebs under the bed and the nonstandard places. The stairs didn't bother me at all. The location is great - a close walk to everything.

We enjoyed the location, just a 10 min walk to the old city and we particularly enjoyed the terrace for morning coffees and late afternoon cocktails. The views of the old city from the bedrooms are wonderful. The apartment is well supplied with shampoo's, soap, towels and pillows and the couch was nice and comfy. Another reviewer described the apartment as "shabby chic" and I would have to say that while the bedding and towels were nice and clean, the apartment could use a good professional cleaning. There are 112 stairs to the apartment, but we both appreciated working off some of the lunches and dinners we enjoyed in Dubrovnik.

This was my last stop on my Croatian adventure and it was a perfect ending to a fantastic trip. I was met by Alma, who was more than helpful in showing me around the property. The terrace was breezy on a hot summer's day, something to look forward to after a day at the beach and sightseeing, grab a glass of white wine, some appetizers, perfect ending. I highly recommend this home, especially if you are traveling with a group and/or family. The studio is also available and gives that extra privacy, if it is so needed.

Three of us spent four nights at this apartment in October. The New York based contact was extremely helpful with the details of the rental process. The apartment was just as described and the terrace was absolutely heaven on nice warm evenings. The contact's mother is on site, speaks English very well and is exceedingly charming! she was most helpful with details about the town, i.e., where to shop, where to dine, what to see, etc. The decor is "shabby chic" but exactly what we anticipated. I would heartily recommend this apartment in the center of Old Town Dubrovnik!

We stayed here with two famlies for a week and loved the house and views. The home has an open kitchen and livingroom and three bedrooms all with water views from right above the old town. The stairs to the house are many but well worth the walk up. We also rented the studio and we were very happy with the property and owners. Miro was very easy to deal with. His mom met us at the property to show us around the house and gave us many tips about the city. We would defintely stay here again.

This was a wonderful place to have a big family spend time in Dubrovnik. It actually has another one bedroom with one bathroom unit attached. Miro's mom met us-she is warm , friendly, and speaks fluent English. His dad met us at the bottom of the steps and pointed us uphill. Yes, it is 112 steps to get to the place-but we needed to work off all the wine, gelatto and food we ate in Dubrovnik. The place is quiet, clean, and homey. The kitchen is very well equipped to cook. The washing machine worked well, once we figured it out. Another small touch I liked, was a fresh toothbrush and fresh soap, with plenty of towels. I would DEFINITELY return to this place. Enjoyed sitting on balcony, looking down on old city, drinking bottle of local wine.

This property was excellent-once you got to it. The several steps mentioned in the write up = 112. The off street parking is a parking garage four blocks away that is not cheap. Also if you rent this property be aware that there are two number 15s on the street where it is located--we of course went to the wrong one
